Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Minehime smiled softly, standing on her tip-toes and kissing his forehead, like he would do when he tucked her into bed.

Minehime nodded and headed over to where she had been given to keep her clothes, a dresser of her own. Gathering one of her many kimono's, she scurried off to the bathroom to change.

He waited patiently for her, running his fingers through his hair. He would have to make sure that whatever Hanbei was doing that it would stop after today. Which meant no more "check ups".

It took only a short while for Minehime to put on her full kimono garb by herself, which was always perplexing, but she always said it was easier putting it on herself. "Let's go..!" She seemed excited, though still a bit tired.

Minehime nodded and followed closely. "Can we go to the market?" She asked, looking excited to get out and do something outside for once.

Minehime ran from stall to stall, enjoying herself every step of the way as she got to speak with other people besides soldiers, look at neat trinkets, beautiful cloths, and delicious food. She had put her hair pin in as soon as Hidemune had given it to her, smiling happily.

Minehime nodded, her cheeks flushed red and a huge smile on her face. "Mmhm!" She held his hand firmly with one hand, gently touching the new hairpin he had bought her with the other.

Her face flushed more and she smiled wider. "Thanks, Onii-chan!" Minehime had really started to come out of her shell, expressing herself more and vocalizing how she felt, although, she still only did it with Hidemune.

He smiled more and gave her hand a squeeze.
After a while, however, things were starting to get a little difficult. Mitsunari had started pushing Hidemune more and more to his limit and then beyond that; working him until he couldn't stand any longer.

Minehime could do nothing but watch as Hidemune's health and mental state started to slowly fall apart, and the more it did, the more it broke her heart. When he would come back to his room and collapse before he even made it to his bed, her body would ache with pain, and soon she started to notice physical and mental changes of her own. Her thoughts begain to grow more and more violent, clouded with anger and hatred, and small lumps begain to grow down her spine and on her shoulder blades, but she kept quiet for Hidemune. "Onii-chan.." Minehime had finally gotten Hidemune into his bed, covering him with blankets to tuck him in.

Minehime felt a pang of guilt in her chest and she shook her head. "It's ok! Really! But you don't look good, Onii-chan.." She frowned softly; the lumps on her back were aching again.

She nodded, but couldn't hide her worry. She kissed his forehead and pulled the blankets up to his chin. "Go to sleep, I'll be ok."

Minehime nodded, carefully laying beside him in bed, fighting tears. Hidemune was being run ragged, and if he endured this anymore, he might actually get hurt, or worse yet, die.

Minehime did the best she could to help Hidemune, helping him in anyway she could. She made the bed for him, got his food in the morning, even made sure the laundry was done.
