Last Movie You Saw...

Did a little David Lynch-marathon:

Watched Eraserhead (1977), Blue Velvet (1986), Lost Highway (1996) and Mulholland Drive (2001). Seen all of them at least once before and liked them all this time as well. Lost Highway is my favorite Lynch-movie in general which is always treat to see. Surprised to notice that Eraserhead was the least favorite of the bunch to me, though still a great movie. It was the first Lynch I ever saw so nostalgia-value for it is also great.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992) is also available to watch for free some time online, but I will rewatch the series itself before diving into it.

The Gorge. Do not recommend. The worst part about it is there was definitely a good idea in there somewhere, with some decent action scenes and art direction for one portion. But the rest was nothing but atrocious contrived romance between two people with no chemistry.

I watched Once Were Warriors a few days ago. An extremely tragic, but great movie. I watched it with a friend and man we got real choked up by it.

If you have a strong stomach, then I recommend this movie.

Rewatched The Thing (1982) in theater. Realized it had only one screening and it started in half-an-hour, so speedwalked my ass to downtown to watch it, and it's still one of the best horror movies of all time. Rare times where the remake beats original no questions asked (and the remake of the said remake did not do that surprise surprise)

This will probably be the one and only time I am actually thankful of the local theater showing 15 minutes worth of ads and trailers before the movie starts, since thanks to those I managed to get there before the movie started.

Thunderbolts*. And it was good. I might go back and watch it in the theater again. :D

I got to see Bucky kick some ass, and I'm SO HAPPY! lol Nothing can compare to the iconic highway fight scene in Winter Soldier, but damn it felt good to see him back in action. <3

I plan to see this! Was it good? My dad liked it and wants to see it again. I haven't really heard anything about it since its release.

I thought it was worth the watch; Rami killed it, and I went in without seeing any of his previous work. Very cozy revenge story.

The last movies I watch was The crow. The 2024 version. Now because the cult crowd starts flinging beers bottles at me--i will admit--not the best movie when you hold it again the first film version, but... isn't wasn't the worst movie either. If your have never been exposed to the idea of The crow nor to its comicbook source material it may be worth a watch for free on a whatever streaming service it lands on. For me it was a solid B movie.

That terrible movie 2012. It felt like a parody of a natural disaster film rather than a serious attempt at it. And it wasn’t even funny, either. I’d give it a 3/10. Definitely better films out there.

On purpose? Avengers, way back in the before times. Ex and I found that a Century Theatre that's in Universal Studios was doing a 13 hour marathon where we watched the entire Marvel set up for the Avengers movie. 2 Iron Mans, Thor, Captain America, Edward Norton's Hulk before watching Avengers at midnight.

Last movie that just happened to watch? John Wick 4. Just happened to be in the background while I was gaming.
