Last Movie You Saw...

Longlegs.

Honestly, wasn't sure what to think of this movie when we finished it. I think it was so hyped up by people that I feel like it fell a little short. It's not a shocking or high energy movie. Completely the opposite as a matter of fact. I did like the imagery. And I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to how movies are put together, so I appreciated the art and techniques they used to create certain vibes. It wasn't HORRIBLE but struggled to hold my ADHD attention. 6/10

Finally watched Dawn of the Dead (1978). The remake was one I saw when it was new. Really thought the original was going well until the mall got invaded by the bikers.

Planning to watch remake of Night of the Living Dead for second time next.

For me. Venom The Last Dance was most recent. I wasn't sure due to the reviews, but as I'm a fan of Venom and seen the other movies, it wasn't that bad if I'm honest

Wicked Part 1 for me, I was certainly quite late to the game, but it was fairly fun at the very least! I'm not quite sure if it was for me though on the full story, but the themes I picked up on were pretty fair.

Found out about a local small theater showing old movies from the original 35mm film just in time to go and watch Brazil (1985), which has been recommended to me many many times, and I really enjoyed it. Great dystopian dark-comedy with a neat and relevant commentary going on.

Also forgot to mention this, but went to see Lost Highway (1997) in theaters with my friends after the the convention closed for the day three-ish weeks ago. They were also showing Eraserhead before it, but we couldn't make it. Would recommend going to see the best David Lynch movie in a cute cosplay with your friends. Fun time was had by all. Also rest in peace Legend.

Last movie I saw was the original "twister." Everytime I see that movie it just reminds me as to why it's a classic. Excellent score. Excellent acting. Cheesy but probably good for the time effects. Fun plot. It really just has it all honestly.

In another life, that movie would've made me a meteorologist probably and definitely sparked an interest in weather. Makes me wonder how many weather scientists got into it from that movie!

Been watching surprising amount of movies lately

Watched Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) on Sunday and really enjoyed it. Definitely get why it was so hyped-up and well-received. Did the mistake of watching it while tired so had to do double take on how the multiverse-aspect and the ability-taking from them works, but after that it was smooth sailing.

Novocaine -- Movie is straight ASS. I knew when Jack Quaid was the strongest actor in the film that I'd be in trouble, but GOD I wanted to believe it would be, at minimum, good enough to be called average. It didn't even reach THAT.

Nosferatu and I really loved that movie. Finally got a vampire movie where the vampire was not just another hot noble turned into a vampire. Adored every little gory detail in the movie and they nailed the set design!
