A cell in Block C
Tags: Rufio

[Arriving from Block A]

It had been easy to find out where they were taking Rufio, and Miller wasted no time. The guards were just dropping him in his cell when he arrived, yelling at both of them.

"Leave the damn door unlocked, that's a doctor not a patient! Do you two not have better duties to do? We have an escapee and a facility full of patients who need watching. Move!"

As they rushed past he turned and slammed open the supply closest, finding a bucket marked "Shower" and filling it with water. Then he simply strode to Rufio's cell and dumped the entire thing on his head, splashing cold water upon him to wake him.

"Get up Dr. Arellano. Rise and shine. I don't have time for niceities. Get up, get the siren, and continue the interogation. I've dealt with Arek. We have reason to believe Nysa might know more than she is letting on. And if she doesn't, at least she got a proper guage of what the patient was thinking before she escaped. We know the two spent the day together, and we know Nysa is good at getting people to talk."

He lightly tapped his boot into Rufio's foot, "You can set up shop in one of the labs with the girl. She should be in isolation. Get her to talk, or make her. You have full clearance to do what is necessary, but only to the siren. None else. I need to go to town now and help Candice retrieve the brat."

With that he turned and left, really not in the mood for conversation as he stabbed the elevator button and jumped on, wanting to get this whole matter over so he could finally go home.

[Arriving from Cell Block A – post #138]

Rufio jerked awake with a heave of air, before coughing and sputtering as he was drenched in icy cold water. It soaked into his clothes, further adding to the shock of the rude awakening as he brought his arms to cover his head and avert his gaze. “Ah, what the fuck man…” He groaned, rising up when the water had stilled, before shutting his eyes as another source of pain flared up within him. The back of his head pulsed terribly, causing him to lay back down with his arms clutching at the source. Christ, what had happened to him?

Someone was speaking to him, telling him to get up and get the siren. Nysa…that bitch. Rufio shook his head but regretted it, as the ache spread throughout his skull. He blinked several times to dissipate the disorientation and rose up, a hand to the side of his head to keep him balanced as he looked up at Miller when his foot was nudged. Everything was happening too fast for the man, jerking an eyebrow and squinting his eyes as Miller turned and departed after issuing his instructions. He blew a puff of air and laid back down, simply trying to breathe and still the ache. Was he…was he in a Block C cell? Looks like Arek Mundae wasn’t such a softie after all.

“Fuckin’ prick.” Rufio muttered, recalling the cheap shot to his side. Then he recalled his own stupidity in throwing his own punch while in the middle of all the man’s goons. They’d probably be having a good laugh about that. He didn’t trust what Miller said in dealing with Arek. The man was a prick as well. With a growl, Rufio raised himself back up to a seating position, before he struggled to rise. Spots began to shroud his vision but he endeavored forward, striding out of the cell in a hunched position. He was in so much pain, but not half as bad as what he was going to do to Nysa. In the isolation tanks eh? Even if they did recover the brat, he’d still have her squealing before the day was out.
