Nysali Danallis preferred when the guards called her Nysa. Actually...she preferred when they called her kitten, baby, goddess, and many more enticingly sexual names. There were few names she hadn't heard in her lifetime, although she couldn't say she enjoyed them all.

The redheaded beauty was a siren of 230 years, although none could say she looked a day past 23. And she'd never admit to being any older. Nysa had been in this facility for what felt like years, but could have only been a handful of months. The doctors, nurses and security guards knew her well. She was one of the few patients actually diagnosed with a mental problem. Sex addiction. Like that was a thing. So what that Nysa loved sex, or that she'd been caught numerous times stuffing herself with some guards cock, or with her head between a nurse's legs? It was all in good fun, and she wasn't hurting anyone. Quite the contrary in fact, she never left a single partner unsatisfied. But a few of the doctors had it out for her, calling her...a nuisance. Dr. Hans Funer seemed to think that, but he just had a stick up his ass, and if he got a taste of what she had under this stale grey patient uniform everyone was required to wear he probably wouldn't be complaining.

"Hey sugar," she purred, dancing down the Cell Block C hall towards the security guard on duty, one she hadn't seen before, "Don't shoot me, I promise to be a good girl. I'm just looking for some fun. Are any of these kids in time out looking for a little action? Pent up anger need to be released? I don't mind suppling...for a fee."

Block C - Detention Cell

Two armed men approach a confinement cell that could be found early in Block C. One of the few cells meant to hold patients who are moved to Block C for punishment and were likely to be moved back to Block B in under a month. One of these men peeked in while the other shuffled with a key chain. Inside the Detention Cell was more like a white box made of pillows or cheap mattresses. The man's eyes stopped on the long, lanky form of a young man who had been laying across the floor in a straight jacket. Long grey hair had flown over his facial features, making it difficult to tell if the patient had been awake or asleep. Only the faintest signs of breathing had clued the man into the fact that he was still alive. Not that it was possible for the patient to have killed himself already. But, the straight jacket wasn't meant to protect the patient. That straight jacket was part of a two-fold procedure to keep this patient from causing more bodily harm to the guards.

The other man had finally stopped at the appropriate device to open the door. With a simple swip, the door had been pushed open. Pocketing the key chain, the guard without a weapon had stepped in to stand beside the patient. The guard, who had previously been peeking in, remained in the hallway with his weapon prepared in case something happened. With his hands on the patient's jacket, the guard lifted him to his feet by force. This motion had both awoken Zach and made the hair over his eyes dance about until his brown eyes had been opened. "Oh. Hey. I, ugh, already had my medication this morning." Came an innocent tone from Zach's soft, sleepy face.

The guard beside him, who brought him to his feet, fought the urge to throw a punch or push the taller, thin patient. Despite his young appearance and innocent act, Zach had hurt a fair few of the guards and has since built up a bad reputation with the majority of them. "Nice try, McKnight. You arn't on medication today." The guard in the hallway had spoken up. The sound of the gritty older man had been one of displeasure. Zach attributed this kind of annoyance in his voice to that same sensation in middle school when a teacher makes you play with the lonely smelly kid and you hate it.

Almost as if on cue, Zach blinked away the drowsiness and pulled together his big charming smile. "Just keeping you on your toes." His previously innocent tone had melted away with the appearence off his smile. This was a face that most of Eternal Peaks had seen in Block B and Block C, and it wasn't a pleasant one if you heard the stories. While a more permanent position in Block C had been requested, for one reason or another, Zach's ghostly visage keeps being let back into Block B. "What's the odds I could get you guys to rough me up and put in a complaint to get me on them happy meds again?"

The guard in the cell sneered at the thought, but shook his head. "There's cameras everywhere, McKnight. Not that we havn't thought about kicking your shitty teeth in." There was a hint of an accent on this guard, the one who spoke was the unarmed man beside Zach. Contorting his face like a comedian, Zach pretended to be shocked or astounded by the statement. With a pause and neither of the men laughing, Zach returned his usual, casual smile to his lips paired with his lazy eyes.

"Alright, so you arn't here too beat me up. I'm not on medications. And to my knowledge, I'm not on schedule to meet with the staff... Did you boys just stop by to say hi to yer'old pal Zach?" More humor, and the stiffest audience imaginable, Zach was ready for a good day.

The guard remains muted, most likely told not to engage with her. Newbie. They all got told that and they all eventually broke.

"Fine," she shrugged, "I'll go play elsewhere. Goodness knows Funer would be pissy if he found me down here."

Turning to head out she's stopped by two guards busy getting a patient out of his cell. Standing with a hand on her hip she watches - and listens - to their conversation, smiling at how sarcastic the man in the straight jacket was.

"Where you taking him?" she asks as one guard leads him to the elevator, the other turning and halting her movements to follow.

"Orientation day, we got some new blood and this kid has to retake it. Why are you down here Nysa?"

"Playing hide and seek with Dr. Funer," she winked, "Mind if I join silver hair there with his little trip up to Cell Block B? I promise I'll behave."

"You never do though," his gun is still cocked and ready in case she has plans to attack, which by now Nysa knows better. She also knows better than to use her powers. As a siren, she could easily trance all these men under her spell with one word in her honey sweet voice, thick with power. But it was severly banned, and any instance of breaking that ban would immediatly throw her in what she called the "Box". And Nysa dispised the damn torture instrument, never wanting in that thing again. So she played nice, keeping her voice smooth but unenchanted.

"No games," she promised, "I'll just ride up to Cell Block A."

"Just let her ride," the other guard sighed, "We are running behind to deliver this punk. Maybe we can sick her on him and he'll behave."

"Oh boys," she rolled her eyes, "You gotta get permission from the big boss to use my gifts. Otherwise its off to the cell I go."

She stepped into the elevator with them, riding it to the next floor...

Cell block C

What would normally be counted as painful, Teya couldn't help but laugh. The sound almost like a choking gasp as the metal and leather bounds dug deeper into the already torn flesh of her throat. The bindings didn't just reside there though, they also clung to her forehead, wrists, middle torso, and ankles, sharing the abuse. The doctors had come to find her wriggling form more of a nuisance but they all remained persistent on testing mainly her eyes and hair. The number of times they had cut away a tendrils of her flawless blonde hair, she watched in pain as the mirage shattered and another dead snake head hung from their bloodied hands, only faded away from another unwritten and bloodied history book. The best was when they had to slip into these odd bulky suits with large ridiculous goggles that made the situation just too funny in Teyas eyes.

It didn't matter what they tried.

She could almost always find a way to get around all of that mumbo jumbo, and get a real look into their soul as they slipped away into a hard and darkened world. They could continue to try and remove layers of her eyes, to try and get to what exactly turned creatures into stone.

In some way Teya was slightly curious too. But that question always faded just as quickly as it had come to mind.

The worst was when they needed to poke around in her chest or brain.

What was so attractive about her abilities and voice to these creatures? Why could she lure them in if she could get into their heads?

But it all didn't matter, they're progress was always stunted anyways. This session would end with another stone mantle for their damned garden and another stitch to the side of her eye before they wheeled her back out in that God awful metal contraption they wrapped around her eyes.

A splitting pain as the doctors Stafford cut into the tender skin, slitting the side of her eye open so the doctor could at rot to slip something behind her eye. Again.

Ugh.

This was boring now.

"Oh doc? Why would you do this to such a lovely maiden as myself?" Teyas normally silky voice,  still that of a gasp as the binds exposed muscle.

The blondes stunning green eyes stared, the faintest sign of disgust showing in the visible signs of the doctors posture. A soft 'Tssk' noise escaped from behind the mask.

They're hand reached back,  grasping a metal scalpel like object, the head a round curved head instead of a knife. The metal was cold against the inside of her eye? The doctor sliding it rather painfully behind the females eye - gaining another gurgle like giggle in response.

"Dr. Sullien, I'm sorry to disrupt your appointment, but we need you upstairs." A soft feminine voice called from a small white speaker in the upper left hand corner of the rater dingy and bleak cement room. The room was basic, holding nothing more notable then the metal table Teya laid on, the small portable trey, the mirror lining the side of the room and of course the blood splattered everywhere. An annoyed flustered sound fled the pressed lips behind the mask and the coolness abruptly jerked back.pain fluttered through the gorgons eye and a deep growl like scream bubbled up.

A cruel chuckle followed her pained response, the doctor nodding towards the mirror before he pulled out a needle and thread. This was the easiest part, almost a vacation from the rather stupid procedure of digging around in her body while she watched the whole time. With that, the doctor turned, clearly finished and leaving the room. Strong bloodied hands rose to remove the large mask with the fabric backing attached, all to slide it under his arm as he walked away.

His shoulders where relaxed, and for some funny reason, this moronic creature had let down his guard.

"Oh; Doc?" She asked innocently. Large pooling green eyes staring intently at his image in the mirror, his eyes slithered up to connect for that fleeting moment. He couldn't even release a gasp as his skin paled, darkening and obviously stiffening as every blood cell in his body dried up with her true insight into his soul.

The door popped open with a heavy clank of gears,  in a rushed burst, familiar hooded figures appeared into his sight. With that, everything darkened as the toothed metal contraption sunk deep into her flesh. Bloodied tears spilled down her perfect cheeks in response to loosing her vision.

"Fuck... That's another one. I don't understand why they haven't made this one into mutt meat... she keeps fucking up our staff." Voice A - clearly a rather annoyed male.

"Well you heard the institutions rebuttal to that concern... they think they can cure vision problems permanently with her eyesight." Voice B - a cool headed female retorted.

"Whatever... stick her back in Block C again, no food, no water for a week. Let's see how much she likes that." He grunted as the bounds unlatched just to violently jerk her up. The first step Teya stumbled, only to receive a painful blow to her lower back.

"Forward PGE9786." The female commanded.

On that note, the blonde headed female moved forward obediently even when she really didn't need to be guided. She could easily escort herself back to her "place of residence" without so much as an issue. As they headed down the cell block, voices sounded off in the hall as a patient argued with various guards, and another speaking seductively to another.

All of which earned a giggle from the gorgon.

"Shame.... you would all make such lovely garden stones. I would fill my forest with everyone of you." Teyas sickly sweet voice sung, her formal accent clinging to her words as they echoed through the concrete walls.

Cell Block C

Jakob leaves the elevator, approaching the group of doctors in hoods and large goggles huddled around a small cell, the window completely polarized as if trying to prevent people from looking in. He approaches the group and waves at them, they disarm him, removing his cord and weapon, holding on to it.

Another doctor approaches him, wearing the same getup. "Well soldier, we're here to offer you a raise.. For an experiment, we don't want to lose any more staff to this gorgon, so we want you to test new lightweight goggles that will.. Probably prevent her from killing you." He explains. "But we also don't want you killing her.. So you'll be going in, if you survive you get a pay raise.. And if you die, well, you'll make a garden gnome for her." He explains before handing Jakob the goggles.

Much like his ballistic glasses (which he is forced to remove) these goggles fit snuggly to his face. He is forced to remove his helmet, glasses, and chest carrier, which he leaves by the door with his gun, the doctors promising to watch them as to not lose them. He adjusts the goggles before walking into the room, the door shuts behind him and is locked from the outside.

"Hello?" He asks, the room is dark and is not lit, he can't really seem to see around him. "Stone lady, I'm not here to hurt you.. So don't try anything.. Please.." He says while approaching the center of the room, looking around for any signs of the Gorgon the doctors had told him about.

The walls were cool to the touch. The cement deeply grooved from the woman's unruly talons, even with the lack of light anyone could see the marks moved in a circle, like an impatient cat waiting to be released for many years.

Teya had stopped in a corner, listening to their ignorant chatter. They had summoned a new toy for her. A male one too.

Oh... this will be fun.

Teya sunk further into her corner, allowing the shadows to swallow her up, her slitted eyes darkening in color.

It hadn't been long before he had arrived. His heart pounding unreasonably in his chest, her little mouse to play with before she could get down to the very base of her nature. She opened her mouth, her words the delectable taste of sweet sex, an orgasmic sound to the male gender.

"Oh honey... how'd you find yourself in here?" She moaned, Teyas voice bouncing off the walls to help conceal her within the chamber.

The moment he hears her voice he wishes they had issued him a gun. He looks around, eyes darting through the shadows to search for the Gorgon. "It's my job to be here.. Apparently." He says as he takes a tentative step forward, his boot finding purchase on the marked cement floor.

"I gotta be in here for an hour.. So let's just make this easy." He says, his every fiber wanting to stop ignoring the noises this Gorgon was making, but his mind knows it could be his bitter end. "Let's talk this out, why do you enjoy killing humans?" He asks while swiveling his head around, taking another step to his left, as if trying to track the Gorgon.

"No more games, show yourself." He says. "I'm not here to experiment on you, or hurt you, you have nothing to worry about." He says, still feeling insecure. He takes his dominant left hand, pressing it against the side of the goggles to make sure nobody could take them off, he was not keen on becoming a stone statue.

The temperature in the room was 104 degrees. A light sheen of sweat covered her forehead, matting her red hair to her skin as she smiled staring at the wall. ‘Come on,’ she thought. ‘Burn. Everything burns.’ Kaige starred intently at the wall, waiting, watching for the smallest of signs. A light trail of smoke began to appear among the charred wall. Her smile grew more sinister as she stepped closer to it. ‘Burn. Burn.’ The smoke grew darker. White was replaced with a dark black as the scent became more prevalent. She was sure this was going to be the time. All the other times, it had happened before now. They had told her it was impossible for her to escape to her cell, but Kaige never stopped trying. Her walls bore the marks from several attempts. Her fires growing hotter, scorching the walls, searing them, taking the paint from it, but it always happened. Life, as she had come to think of it. Kaige was convinced the walls were alive, and they fought back. Of course deep down she knew it had to be some kind of technology her hellish captors had invented simply to contain her. ‘Good. They better keep me contained,’ she had thought. ‘I’ll burn ‘em all. I’ll burn ‘em and this hell hole to the ground.’ Her smile growing even more, she was certain escape would be within her reach, but then it happened. The smoke extinguished, and the wall remained. The only trace of her latest efforts was a tiny hole in the wall. Gritting her teeth, her smile became snarl. The temperature in her room began to subside, and Kaige stepped closer to the wall, inspecting the wall. “Next time.”

His pulse quickened further, the panic subtly sinking into his tone whilst his body nervously edged forward. Yet as he continued to preach on, a cynical and bone shatteringly dark laugh haunted the room.

"But you chose this job. This is where you've chosen to put yourself... what a pity." She breathed, the air almost seeming to thicken as the gorgon probed onwards.

She tasted his words silently, revealing in the man's on going nerves.

"Well this is easy you see... we're only just talking..." The words almost seemed to echo further more, becoming almost entrancing. "I don't kill... I give you all a world that you so desperately wish for."

Her soothing words stilled the chamber, allowing only his breath to echo. Teya moved like air through the room with an overlooking deathly grace. Claws gently sweeping his back as she moved, disappearing again within another corner.

"They all say that. Every last one of your kind." Her words hissed, a darkened fog rolling across the concrete floor. "But your kind is all one in the ssssame."

472161.jpg

"Yeah, I didn't choose this job thinking I would be guarding a bunch of crazy people." He says while looking around him. "I figured I'd be protecting an oil rig or my country or whatever, but this is not where I want to be." He says. "Unfortunately I have a contract binding me here for awhile." He explains.

"None of us want to be dead, Teya." He says, using the Gorgons name to try to put her off. His heart starts beating faster, he tries to calm himself but the simple fact is that this Gorgon is terrifying. He hears the echoes of his shallowing breath, the way his heart beat starts to calm and then jumps up another tempo because of this gorgon.

When her claws touch his back he makes his way to a corner, pressing his back against it before slowly sliding down the wall, holding his head in his hands. "What am I doing here..?" He groans to himself. He looks up, his eyes starting to adjust to the dark.

"Why do you play these games? You know you're scaring me, do you enjoy that? Frightening someone you've never met but assume to be bad?" He asks. "The difference between me and the others you met is that I'm not a doctor, lady." He says, his head still turning to look around for the cheeky gorgon who was toying with his mind.

The gorgon’s cynical laugh almost deepened as the pathetic creature continued on with his story, trying to bring her out of her element – and ruin her fun.

“A contract does not bind your life, just your soul…” Her voice purred, becoming smoother with each passing moment. “I could fix that for you… Take it all away and give you joy…”

The blonde heard his attempt to connect with her – using her name as almost leverage.

“Shhhh Jakob. For it’s not death you seek… Just peace.” As she spoke, the gorgon moved around the room again, inspecting him, watching him with keen eyes. Luckily in this light, the snake-like woman could still see. Of course her vision was more of a dull-puke colored green.

“Let me give you the peace you seek Jakob… Let me iiinnnn.”

The seconds ticked by. The human’s mind beginning to give to her whim.

“I don’t play gamesssss. Your kind is all the same. Much like the wolves, the blood hungry and the like around. They all say the same. No one is special. Doctor or not.” Teya’s seductive voice hissed, still echoing around the room while the man seemed to sink further into himself.

[Arriving from Main Floor – post #17

The elevator at the end of the dank, sullen corridor opened with an ominous ding. Out stepped Dr. Rufio Arellano, a fixated smirk ever upon his lips as he began to stride down the hall of troublemakers and problem cases. He probably spent the vast majority of his day down here, with his personal office in Block B a close second if he felt like terrorizing the patients of that floor. But here, he was at his comfort and leisure, unbuttoning his sleeves to roll them up, revealing muscular tones on his forearms.

It was not his objective, but for a brief moment he paused outside the cell of a specific case. PGE9786. Now that was a case even Rufio was loathe to attempt at times. The woman’s strange abilities were not something to muck about with, able to result in instantaneous death if one was not careful. And what was worse, especially since Rufio could not play with the thing inside, was that she was rumoured to share a sadistic streak on par with his own. It was almost an issue of pride for Rufio in wanting to have some time alone with the gorgon, but it was unlikely any time soon.

There seemed to be some activity going on inside the cell however. A doctor and some guards were standing outside, glued to their monitors as another inside interacted with the fiend. Rufio Arellano paused for a moment to glimpse what they were about. Item experimentation? It was about time the eggheads in Science worked on figuring this creature out. Rufio grinned and wished the fellows a crisp good luck before continuing on. Hey, if it works out, I might get to test my talents with the fiend after all.

But he was not here for patient PGE9786. He was here for the feisty redhead, which was well apt to her condition. Patient KM9449. Kaige Mayfair.

Outside her cell, he found several grim looking guards, all staring intently at a strange hole in the wall. It was not anything significant, at least in terms of damage. But it did pose a certain problem. “Status?” Rufio suddenly barked, making his presence known. “What is so important to message me during an orientation session?”

One of the guards nodded at the wall. “She’s at it again.”

“So?” Rufio snapped. “Go in there and knock her about.”

The two men exchanged a glance, then the first one spoke again. “This is the worst she’s gotten so far. Me and Jebs here both thought…”

“I don’t care what you thought.” Rufio cut them off, waving his hand. He stepped forward and peaked through the small hole, though he couldn’t discern much. “What’s the interior temperature reading?”

“About one hundred and nineteen degrees, sir.” A guard replied, accessing a small monitor next to the door.

“Drop it to negative ten.” Rufio ordered. Around his torso, he tightened his lab coat and buttoned it up. It was about to get cold inside. Very cold.

“Sir…” one of the guards spoke up hesitantly, “the effects could be fatal on the patient. Perhaps…”

“I thought I made it clear that your input is not necessary? I never knew a dog that needed to be told twice without a bop on it’s nose. Do you require an education, boy?” Rufio sneered at the guard, who promptly fell silent and turned back to the monitor. A few buttons later, the whine of massive generators beneath the floor could be heard rumbling up. Inside the cell, icy blasts of wind would begin to flood the chamber. In a minute, the temperature would artificially plunge over one hundred degrees. Rufio was not concerned for the patient inside. She would probably be more preoccupied trying to keep herself warm then turn her pyro magic on him. Once he was satisfied with the temperature, he ordered the door to be opened and in he went, flanked by another guard holding his rifle up high.

Rufio entered the cell, his boots stepping hard on the already icy floor. “Now, now, little lady. What did I say about playing with fire?” He goaded in a mocking tone as the door slid shut behind him and the guard, who kept the muzzle of his weapon trained always on Kaige Mayflair.

Cell Block C

Jakob grinds his teeth together lightly, this one was starting to get to him. "Yeah sure, try to give me 'peace' lady." He says while continuing to look around, one hand still pressed to his goggles. "I guess I'm here for an experiment, but it's on me, I get paid more if this works." He explains while looking around, his eyes having finally adjusted. He spots her, but doesn't make any indication that he has.

"So why don't you do that thing with your eyes that makes garden gnomes and statues." He says, his fist clenching, his mind is in full panic mode, but he is trying to calm himself down, taking deeper breaths and trying to focus on something else. But the gorgon is making it damn hard on him. He's trying to be honest with the patient, though it doesn't seem like she believed him though most of what he says is indeed the truth.

"So I'm assuming that turning me to stone will also give me joy." He scoffs, his heart rate starts to slow a little, he steps out of his corner, pacing back to the center of the room. He keeps his hand pressed to his goggles, afraid that she will try to take them off. "Trust me lady, I know this is all just a big game for you, cat and mouse, but I'm not afraid of looking death in the eye any more, so try me." He says while looking straight at the Gorgon.

"Yeah, funny thing about human vision is we get used to the light after a little while, and unfortunately for you that means I can see you now, nothing to be afraid of." He says. "I have a fear of what I can't see, but now that you're something I can see, I clearly see that you're a harmless lady." He says, taking a step towards her. "Fifty minutes to go lady, you gonna give me peace and joy, or what?"

Deep within the halls of Cell Block C.

The cells in Cell Block C weren't nice to start with, but Jay's cell is by far the worst. There is nothing in the cell other than a large metal block, a head sticks out from it, covered in a metal mask that keeps his mouth closed, a pair of blacked-out ballistic glasses cover his eyes and he cannot move.

On the inside of this cube, his arms and legs are restrained in such a position that he is unable to even flex the large muscles on his body. Proof of his strength and fierceness surrounds him, the blood surrounding his cube is a dark red, but it is not his blood.

His eyes, much like his hair are jet black, if looked straight into it would seem that he is staring straight into your soul. As he awakens he looks around him, doctors stand and study, occasionally poking and prodding him with needles.

One of them makes the mistake of opening the cube, in an instant Jay is thrashing, screaming at the top of his lungs, one of the doctors had mistakenly not worn ear protection, blood runs from his ear drums before he is escorted out by a security guard. A shot is injected into him and he goes unconcious.

He wakes later to silence, on the floor and out of the cube. A tray of food sits in front of him, which he eats quickly before standing, looking around at his padded cell. He knows that they are watching but he doesn't care. He leans against the wall before calling out. "I would like a therapist!"

[Arriving from Cell Block B – post #7]

Rupi strode swiftly through the hall the moment the elevator doors slid apart. Her body bristled with anxiety as she came to the Cell, where she had received a call for a therapeutic audience. She had every right to feel worried and concerned, for the patient within was the least human of them all. Everything about this patient was dangerous. Just his stare could kill someone. His voice, deadly. It was only by the unfortunate circumstance of being the Head of Psychology that Rupi had to attend to this patient. If it were up to her, she would never go near him. Even a vampire such her could know fear.

She came outside the room, where several guards were standing with grim expressions. These were certainly harder men than the incompetent fools in Block B. Safeties on their weapons were off. Fingers always hovered near the trigger guard. They stood silently and still, ready for action. No one was going to take any chances with the creature inside, and neither was Rupi. With a deep sigh, she stepped up to a small pad next to the doorway, clicking a button to establish a link with a microphone inside. They could hear the demon calling out to them. No way was Rupi going to go inside unless it was absolutely necessary.

“Yes, patient? You called for a therapist? What is on your mind?” Rupi asked, after gathering her composure. She watched the giant of a man inside on a nearby monitor, wondering why a demon would have need of a therapist anyways.

enhanced-buzz-5128-1359995675-6.jpg

Jay looks up at the therapist, though he's never seen this one before.. Considering he's killed all of his other ones. He walks up to the door and rests his head against it, looking at the dark panel before him. "Hey doc, why don't you come in?" He asks. "It's been awhile since I've actually been able to talk to someone." He says before stepping back, walking to the corner of his cell.

He puts his hands behind his head and watches the door, knowing that the doctor probably wouldn't come inside, but a small part of him hopes that she does. "I have some stuff on my mind, y'know being unconcious for long periods of time sometimes brings up questions of the heart.. Or some shit like that." He says.

The…thing wanted to talk to her. Face to face. Rupi could have cringed had she less self-control. To go inside trusting to the creature’s goodwill was clearly an act of stupidity, one that would result in her death. And she already had one close call for today. She had no actual obligation to help this patient though. He had proven to be troublesome and threatening to doctors and deserved to be in Cell Block C for a reason.

But a part of Rupi could not abandon someone asking for help. Was it not why she became a doctor in the first place? If she could understand Jay, help him become docile and more cooperative, Rupi would have did a good job. But she needed safe-guards first. She put her hand on the comm unit once more.

“I will talk to you, patient.” Rupi replied slowly at first. “But only if you consent yourself to be restrained and locked up. Without it, I will not come into your cell and either you let everyone hear what’s in your heart and mind, or you keep them to yourself. You’ll understand of course why I feel this way, given your track record with former therapists whom you requested in this fashion…”

Kaige never stopped pacing in her cell, not that there was much else she could do. There was no table, no chair, not even a bed. Her bare feet didn’t make a sound as her steps were light and slow. In her mind she ran the numbers, her estimations on how much she had actually brought the temperature in the room up to produce the damage. Damage. The word alone made her laugh slightly. ‘Damage? I wouldn’t even call that tiny hole damage, but there is one thing I would call it. A start.’ The thought was immediately followed by the telling sound of the generators coming to life. “Shit,” was as she said as instantly she not only felt the first burst of arctic air but also started to bring her body temperature up.

With every ticking second, the temperature plummeted. The first few seconds were more of a shock really. Her skin became cold to the touch. Higher and higher she pushed her internal core causing sweat to begin to form. The air blasted strong, cooling the moisture as the temperature continued to drop. She began to shiver, a sign her body was trying to cope with the frigid surroundings being thrust upon her. Exhaling she could her breath. Her muscles twitched uncontrollably, and still the witch fought to bring her temperature up. The only sign of color on her face was her cheeks, flushed with the rush of blood trying to maintain a safe body temperature. As her teeth chattered, she could feel her lips drying and starting to crack. “Damn you,” she stammered through trembling lips. This was a routine she was accustomed to. All the doctors knew why she was here, and her one true enemy was the cold. Lower the temperature enough, and it took all of her focus to keep herself alive. Kaige would rarely wager any energy to strike out against them. Rarely.

The door opened, and her expression dropped. Shivering, unable to remain still, Kagie starred at him with her arms folded. As he stepped inside, the ice crunched under his boots. It was then she realized just how cold it had gotten in there. His words, his tone, in sighted her anger, touching her deeply. It was him. Rufio. Blinking her dry eyes, she quickly shifted her gaze to the guard behind him. ‘A gun,’ she thought. ‘Typical.’ Dispersing a quick burst of energy, the gun heated under his hands, burning him. The guard did not hesitate to release it.

It wasn’t much, but it was enough. Enough to remind him who and what she was. Enough to leave her open to the harsh elements of the cold. It was fun, a lash out at her captors, but it had cost her. Kaige could feel how tired she was and how clouded her thoughts were. Through the fog that was settling over her mind, she turned her attention back to him. “You get….b….burned,” she stammered. “Is that right….Ru….Rufio?” Had the temperature not been so cold, of course she would have turned her wrath on him. There would be nothing left of him at this point. He knew it. She knew it. Hell they all knew it. “You need….some ice….for that,” she asked the guard, smiling at Rufio. “Sorry. Not my….department. I hear there’s an ice mage….somewhere….out there. Hope you never….find her. P….Pryo. That’s….m….me. If you wanted….to see….my nipples hard….Rufio….all you had to do….was ask. I would have….played with them….for you. Nothing else….to do in here….anyways. Are you that….desperate….to see them….like that,” she sneared. “Come on,” she began, lifting her foot slowly, only to realize she was almost frozen to the floor. Wincing in pain, her gaze dropped from him to her foot. “I want….to complain….to management. My room….is cold….and….infested….with rats. Big rats….with guns. Big rats….with attitudes. Come on Ruf….io. Whatcha….gonna do….about it? Hell….there’s even a….hole in the wall.”

As she returned her gaze to him, there was no color left in her face. Kaige could feel her heart slowing in her chest. Her organs were shutting down in a vain attempt to preserve her brain function. She forced a smile. “Come on….Rufio. I’m no good….to you dead. So get on….with whatever it is….you came in here….to do. Except sleeping….with you. I still….won’t do that. Even I have….standards.”

Rufio merely jerked an eyebrow when he heard the clatter of weaponry behind him and the guard’s sudden curse. He knew what had just happened. She was a bold one, this patient. Despite being forced to concentrate her powers to protect herself, she still had the nerve to lash out and manage just one attempt to preserve her dignity and pride. But that was what he liked about Kaige. She always got up, she always came back, she always resisted, every and all possible miseries he had inflicted on her. There was a certain stamina to her that he admired. And in his books, when he admired someone’s resolve, he only strove the more greatly to break them.

The guard moved to pick up his weapon. Rufio shot up his hand. “Get out. And leave it.” He simply ordered, before looking at Kaige with a smile. He knew she was spent. All Rufio had to do was pick up the gun and shoot her, if he wanted her dead. But he didn’t, instead remaining in place as he listened to her stuttering remarks in the cold. He was dressed warmly, at least possessing more layers of clothing than she did, having a well-tailored suit covering his body with a lab coat on top. He could endure with his full strength in this cold for a short time longer than Kaige could, enough to garner him an advantage if he needed to beat her down.

She talked. He listened. She made the usual noises, offers, and promises. And Rufio made the usual gesture, listening silently and still with an arrogant smirk on his lips. When she finished speaking, he uncrossed his arms and hooked his thumbs into the pockets of his lab coat, snickering and shaking his head.

“Such an enticing offer! I must admit, it does make me consider it.” Rufio mused at first, keeping his gaze lowered as he shook his head again and chuckled at Kaige’s statement. He began to move towards her, his boots making sticky noises as they lifted off the frozen ground. He came nearer to her, standing only a few feet away from the disarmed pyro witch. Glancing up now, he looked right into the redhead’s pretty face. He even reached out, placing his still warm palm upon her cold cheek, as if he was comforting her. “But of course, how could I ever seriously consider such an offer from a…creature I don’t even take seriously?” Rufio suddenly mused and with his palm and fingers, he pinched her cheek, hard, and tugged it.

“What makes you think you can bargain your body with me, huh?” He sneered with much more violence into the woman’s face, his hand pinching her cheek hard in a childish, humiliating fashion before he released Kaige’s flesh. “Your body, your nipples, whatever else you think you still own on that body of yours…its all already mine.” Rufio declared haughtily, looking her up and down from head to toe, drinking in the fine details of her body. “The Institute owns you. I own you. You? You own nothing in this life anymore, cunt. I could have you whenever I want, so take your offers, take your complaints, and shove them right up your ass.” He reached out, this time with both hands, and grabbed her by her shoulders, pushing her back into the hard wall behind her.

“And of course, there is always something else I can shove up your ass. Never forget, my little pet.” Rufio threateningly whispered at Kaige, his face inches from hers. Then he laughed and released her, stepping back. “Standards you say. Give me three days with you and the only standard you’ll be living for is how much cock to suck for your next meal. Shut the hell up and behave yourself girl, or my next visit will be more than just catching up with you.”

Jay looks at the door and raises his eyebrows before nodding. "Yeah sure, I'll restrain myself." He says before walking over to the wall, placing his hands and legs against it. Titanium cuffs lock around his wrists and ankles, keeping him from moving.

"Now if you could come inside, this isn't exactly comfortable." He says sarcastically, giving another shame of his head as that's pretty much the only thing he can move while restrained.

Rupi was skeptical about the demon’s promise, but said nothing. When she saw Jay on the monitor placing himself in a corner where he would be restrained, it still did not comfort her. Sure, he had superior physical strength and abilities, but that was not the extent of all his powers. His voice was just as deadly and just earlier today, a doctor had been severely injured when they weren’t on their guard.

Accepting a specialized set of ear muffs that were supposedly to protect one from whatever danger his voice posed, Rupi placed them upon her face and sighed. Then she entered the room. Despite the considerable distance in the chamber, she remained as far as she could from the man, staying by the door while he was cuffed to the wall. Things break. Don’t rely on them she told herself.

“Well, I’m here.” Rupi announced, clutching her clipboard to the side of her modest chest. “No, it’s not comfortable.” She repeated. “But that discomfort is earned only by your actions, patient. Now what is it you wanted to speak to me about?”

He stepped closer, and she narrowed her eyes slightly, defiantly, at him. Creature. The word alone made her blood boil, but it had little to no effect on her warmth. Rufio knew how to light the fires within her. It was his talent, one of many. He was the sort of person that knew exactly which buttons to push, and even worse he did so with no regard, no care, no mercy for anyone. In her eyes, he was a cruel man who had been her tormentor before, bringing upon her such pain and agony unlike anything the world had thrown at her. He was one of the reasons she hated people. If they were like him, like her own parents, then why bother with them? Why bother to help these….doctors….if people were as cruel, as heartless as what she had seen in her lifetime thus far?

His hand touched her cheek, and the warmth from him was almost painful in and of itself. She flinched, just slightly, as to not give him the satisfaction of seeing the discomfort on her face. Had she remembered her parents better than she did, she would have found the gesture humiliating, degrading even, but to her it was just one of the doctors here trying to bring about whatever pain he could. This was Rufio once more poking a stick at a caged beast. Again, one of his talents. The next time he pinched her cheek though, it was followed by something she was familiar with. His tone had changed, and Kaige was more comfortable with him now than she had been when he came in. This was the Rufio she knew and hated. He moved quickly, pressing her into the cold, unforgiving wall behind her. Her head hit the wall. A dull thud could be heard. To Kaige it felt like her eyes were going to burst from her skull. The pain shot around her head to her eyes as she fought to keep her focus. Her concentration faltered, and she felt the cold bite into her flesh and bones a bit more. Still she remained fixed on the menacing doctor before her.

As he backed away, his mouth still spilling his venomous words, she drew her lips into a tight, thin line. She lifted her eyebrows at him before allowing a smile to break across her trembling, blue lips. “Offer? You think I’m….offering myself to you? You have to be….the dumbest….smart person….I’ve ever met. I said….I have standards….Rufio….and you don’t….meet them.” Pushing off from the wall, she stepped forward, her feet slipping on the ice slightly. “I’m not afraid of you Rufio,” she declared, not pausing once to surrender to the cold. “My body..is my..body.” Her hands pulled at the tattered remains of the garments she wore. Charred from her own efforts. Torn from her sessions. She allowed them to fall to the floor. “Mine..Rufi..Rufio. Mine! And you..can’t..have it. You can take..your threats..your guns..and shove them..up YOUR ASS,” she shouted. “As for food..I got something..you can eat. Shit. As much..as you spew it..you should be use..to eating it.” With her final words, she spat at the floor in front of him. “I am not..your pet..and I never..will be. Now get out..of my room..Rufio.” With her hands by her sides, she starred into his eyes. She knew his gaze was much like him. Unwavering. She also knew the smart thing to do would be to back down and shut up, but that wasn’t her style. Kaige loathed people, and she certainly had no use for the good doctor. Doctor. That was a word she refused to call him, or any of the other doctors for that matter. That was a term given to people she would respect, and Kaige had never found anyone that had earned that from her. Certainly not Rufio, and she doubted he ever would. Of course earning her respect wasn’t something he seemed interested in. No. She was sure all he wanted was to make her and the others on this hall miserable, a fact that was proven time and time again by the countless screams she heard emanating from down the hall.

Jay watches her walk in, honestly at this point he doesn't feel like killing her. "You can come closer lady, I'm not gonna hurt you." His eyes change from pure black to a light hazel. "You'd be surprised how much of a track record I would have if I was treated humanely." He says to her. "I'm like twenty four thousand human years old, and I started in cell block C, is that fair?" He asks.

"Maybe if you trusted me more and stopped poking needles into me I'd be a lot more cooperative." He says, his head lolling to the side as he looks at the doctor. "What's your name, Doctor?" He asks with the raise of his eyebrows. "In my twenty four thousand years of living, I've never once seen a Pysciatric ward that experiments on its patients." He says. "I think I might sue, don't I have the right to a lawyer in the United States? I remember when the Constitution was written.. I FOUGHT IN THE REVOLUTION." He goes from zero to yelling in about two seconds.

"Why am I treated this way? I have so much pent up anger that I don't know how to release... I've heard of a siren from Cell Block A, if you bring her to me I'll stop killing doctors." He says before picking up his head, staring straight at the Doctor.

Rufio listened with a bemused, disinterested smirk as Kaige stepped back to him, spitting her own rebuttal. This he was used to, enduring a useless banter of meaningless words and threats from her. That was the only difference between them really, in that he could carry through with his words and she could not. She tore at what was left of her clothing, standing revealingly naked before him and Rufio made no attempt to hide the lust in his eyes as they drank her in unashamedly. It was a body he knew and would come to enjoy, in due course. If he wasn’t working on Institute time right now, he might be teaching her that very lesson right now.

Her statement of defiance was nothing new. He had heard it a hundred times, in a hundred variations, from a hundred different patients. It was all they had left, their words. But Rufio could take that. He made a mental note to have Kaige gagged after this session. And maybe I’ll plug a few more holes in her too. She ended her remarks with the informal use of his name, insulting his status and genius. But Rufio, bringing his eyes back to hers, did not bugle at the open insult. Did she really think him so easy a target? Instead he remained still and mute, not saying a word, letting the silence grow heavier between them.

Then as quick as a snack, he reeled back and stretched out his arm, slapping her right across the face. He drove into her after, using his body weight to slam her into the wall behind, before grabbing her and flinging her harshly to the cold ground. He raised his boot and brought it firmly upon her face, slowly pinning her down in an humiliating fashion.

“This is your standard. Beneath my boot and everyone else’s boot here.” Rufio sneered at her. “Now you can talk all you want, but it doesn’t excuse the vile scum that you are. You don’t deserve to own your body, you miserable beast. You are inhuman, unreal, and useless. But I’ll make something of you, patient KM9449. And in due time, you’ll think me for the service.” He applied pressure down on his boot, twisting it on her cheek before he let up and turned around, abruptly walking away. By the door however, he paused and looked back. “Be nice now, will you. Gifts are going to be brought to you soon.” Rufio promised in a cruel tone, giving her a smile and a wink. Then he strode through the threshold and the doors slid silently shut behind him.

“I want a gag and objects VP06 and AP08 brought here.” He ordered the guards. “After my rounds, I will…administer them personally.” Rufio explained in a sly tone, looking to glance back to the hole in the wall. He hoped Kaige heard them.

Then he left her cell behind, walking to a nearby guard station. He had another visit planned with a certain troublemaker down in Cell Block C. But why the hurry? He fetched himself a cup of coffee, using a touchpad from his lab coat to send out a memo. Where the hell was patient ND6667, Nysali Danallis? She was supposed to be here waiting for him, as she was his assigned assistant for the physicals. And she sure as hell better not forget a certain parcel from the Science department that he wanted to try out on patient ZM1234.

He sighed as he looked over his day schedule. After Zach, he needed to visit patient KG9654, Kyi Grey. After that, Natalya Silvka and lastly, Jinx Ballentyne. Down the corridor, he heard a familiar voice speaking, though it was only a one-sided conversation. Was Dr. Vera down here as well…?

Rupi did not believe a single word. It was hard to think such a fine specimen of a man could be so dangerous and deadly. He looked like the sort of man young teenage girls dream and ooze about and with that stigma in mind, for Rupi had no interest in men, she was still bewildered to think such a man capable of such atrocities.

She gave Jay, patient JD6666, a pointed look at his outburst, then his following request. Rupi was not technically an American citizen. In fact she belonged to no country, having never really been registered. She was born in India, taught english in England, and self-educated when she came over here. The Constitution? Just a piece of paper like so many in the world that guaranteed rights that were usually never respected or taken for granted.

“First you claim a moral high ground, then you ask for sexual favours, No, don’t deny it. I know why everyone is interested in the siren. Patient DJ6666,” Rupi said formally, tilting her head to the side and causing her hair to wave a little in the process, giving her a strikingly attractive look, “you are in this cell being poked with needles for a reason. Have you forgotten that you are a cold-blooded killing machine?”

Rupi sighed and waved her hand. It was pointless to discuss that. “Besides, the patient you mentioned is otherwise indisposed. But I am not averse to helping out patients in need, however. You have several scheduled routine checkups for today. If by tonight I see that you have personally cooperated with each one with not a single incident…then I will send you the Siren. And if you continue to cooperate, you’ll find me a lot more generous in the future. And then, once you have proven your commitment to changing yourself for the better…perhaps we can find you some new accommodations and talk.” Rupi offered, her voice stern and uncompromising as she offered this deal.

He gives the doctor an amused look. "I'm not denying it, I did say I needed to release pent up anger." He says to her. "You're not poking me with needles because I'm a killing machine, you're doing it because you want to take advantage of me." He says. "Because I know you're about as afraid of me as you are of the sun." His eyes go completely black again. "You think you're so much smarter.." He scoffs.

"My name is not JD6666 and you damn well know that." He says to her. "Fine, you have a deal, but I swear to god, one more needle in my ass cheek and I'm making another widow or two." He says before the cuffs release, he steps out of their grip. "I hope your day brings rays of sunshine to your future, Doctor Vera." He says while igniting his hand, the flame crackling as it dances along his skin. He sits down against the wall, watching the flame move around his body, one of his only forms of entertainment as the cell is on such high lockdown.

Natalie had been one of the guards ensuring that the demon stayed put, her SA80 fully automatic rifle pointed at the demon the whole time. She zones out the conversation, just wanting to ensure the doctor's safety more than anything.

She wears a hat with the name of the company that she works for, Black Hand Corp. written across it, her long red hair tucked into a pony tail that sticks out the back. She wears a ballistic vest plus glasses, along with the Corporation's standard BDU uniform underneath. Around his wrist is a tightly tied cord, attached to the firing pin of her rifle, which would disable the rifle if pulled away from her.

When the conversation ends, Natalie places a hand on the Doctor's shoulder, pulling her out of the room before securing the cell again. "There you are Doctor, are you going to visit another inmate or return to your office? I'm okay to be dispatched any where else." She says, the Doctor would be unable to see her eyes through her glasses. Honestly she had nowhere else to go for the day, the most exciting thing about Natalie's job is guarding doctors and putting down patients that have become too unstable.
