[Dawn Dearest]

Jorie looked up at Kinny and sighed gently "Shadow told me, what happened to her, and what you did to save me." She closed her eyes, shaking gently. She felt awful mainly because a good portion of it was her fault. She felt terrible, but she knew she had to work through this, just like everyone else. "Shadow is going to try and help with some of the problems." She sighed and pulled away from Kinny. "Kinny...I have to tell you something, when I was in that car, an angel spoke to me....the angel gave me this...this...the light thing. He said it would help us all..." she looked down at the ground now keeping her back to him. She was beyond worried, she was at the point that she felt like curling up into a ball and hiding. Something bad and huge was going to happen, and they had no idea when or where.

He moved to sit in front of her taking her hand to finish putting the makeshift bandages on. "look, somehow... i don't know why, but i know. You think it's your fault." Kinny urged her to look at him. "It isn't. i think it's mine. breaking the rules, there are concequences. i've... i've done my usual screw-up thing, and broke two... that i absolutely know of." he finished and gave her hand a kiss. "i'm sorry that i put you in danger. yet, i'll stick by you through this. i love you Jorie."

A very human looking Shadow knocked on the door of the LaJore home, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as the door opened. "Ms. Lajore. Is Jorie home, i think she forgot about our school project."

"Who are you?" The drunk woman slurred. "Rea Tamaki, everyone calls me Shadow."
Ms. Lajore must have been a happy drunk right now, smiling at the girl. "Now why would they call you that?"

"I do not get noticed much." Shadow was quite good at her acting, looking down and getting a woeful expression.

"Well come in Rea. Jories up in her room." She closed the door after Shadow. "Up the stairs, and go right. it's usually the only door that's closed." "Thank you very much Ms. Lajore." She smiled and bowed a little before heading to her destination.

As she hurried through the door, she tossed a small book bag to the side and once the door was closed she commented rather quickly. "your mother reeks of tobacco and alcohol."

 

[Dawn Dearest]

Jorie listened to Kinny silently then leaned into him, she just shrugged her shoulders "Kinny, please, let's not worry about it for now. I just want to relax for a moment." she closed her eyes and sighed softly, only to jump and open her eyes the minute the girl walked in and commented on her mother. "Uhm....thanks? Uh...." She trailed off trying to figure out who this girl was. Jorie tilted her head then gripped Kinny's hand tightly worried that this might be another untrustworthy demon.

From her spot leaning against the door Shadow looked at the two. "What's the matter, Lightbulb? havent you seen a japanese girl before?" The demon saw them ease. "So, who's this Jasper guy, and what's with the cop?"

Kinny was now very curious. "Dick or Dave?"
"What?" She asked. "The cop, was it Dick or Dave."
"His little name thingy said Dave. Why, is that important?"

"It answers alot. Dick and Dave are partners, Dave is an angel, takes care of the innocent, dick takes souls to hell." Kinny scratched his head. "In some odd way i think they're frends, but i can't be sure. Jasper, I've heard of him, my superior reports to him, but I don't see how he fit's into this." Shadow nodded and took a seat behind Jorie. "Here." She sat some keys by Jorie. "Don't thank me." the demoness lay back on the bed and sighed. "What a fucked up day."
