Serina decided to use her new move, Ice Beam, to freeze the water blow them, not freezing up the platforms in the process. "What are they doing? Dewott, approach that Trainer's Pokemon and see what its up too."

"When the Dewott follows you try and get it to make a hole in the ice so it falls though, I know Dewott and it will use its shell to smash though the ice below you, jump when he does it and hit him with strength"

"I don't what they're doing, but it will not work on me. Dewott, use Razor Shell to finish it off." Dewott uses Razor Shell, but Serina dodges it. Dewott tries to hit her, but she manage dodge them by going around him. Serina making the Dewott to make a circle are him. When Dewott uses Razor Shell for the last time, Serina manage to avoid it and makes him smashes a hole in the ice. Then Serina uses Strength to hit him, landing a critical hit, knocking the Dewott out.
 
Mike fist pumped as he said "Great Job Serina, fine form for your first gym battle but you should take a rest now. Zapper and Silver will take over from here". He stroked her head when she came back to him before he returned her back to her pokeball and waited for the gymleder to send out her last Pokémon.
