Aaron gasped for air and went into a fit of choking coughs that sounded as though he was narrowly avoiding being physically ill. He tried to blink away the moisture in his eyes, watching te shadow cast by the faint light that made it in through the blinds and curtains from the lamps outside. He couldn't see features, but he could see the size of the man who was so easily overpowering him.
He couldn't look. Aaron closed his eyes and lay stiff, slightly on his side where he'd been left. He had at last given up trying to run or to at least turn on a light. Instead, he just lay there, shaking with soft sobs as he resigned himself to what was happening. The very thought of what he had just been choked with breaching him below was absolutely terrifying. Surely it would tear him apart. He could not even imagine how much this was going to hurt. He hoped he would pass out; it was the only escape he could think of now.
