Book 1 - The First Shard - P L O T
  • Left in ruins, the world of Marosia tries to survive under the King of Darkness' reign. The people wonders where the noble knights have gone, and while some blame them, some would open their homes for their protection. While the knights trek on the journey to where the first shard is said to have been sent (to the West, through the mazes and towards the Elves), it is rumored that the Treacherous Knight has been sent on a hunt for that shard as well. How many times will their paths cross roads? What dangers lie in the path towards the Western kingdom, and who will achieve the first known shard?[/list:u]

    * I know we're still working on some profiles and some openings are still available. However, this is to get the ball roll. The 2 posts per week requirement will start the coming Monday, 12th of October.
 
Posted as the king. I had to tread carefully. Hope it is Okay, has enough information after all. I want everybody to show up before missions are doled out.

I have to go, if I screwed up majorly on anything, I can fix the problems when I get back.

    Spent most of the days bouncing between managing life stuff, working on my art thing, and trying to get Fallout 3 to work.
    Tired of trying to get the damn game to work. I'll post tomorrow. Already got half of a post for Nekar done. Just gotta finish it up.[/list:u]
 
Oh, I feel for ya, I would freak if I couldn't get fallout 3 working.
I have been playing fallout 2 for a while... I love that game.

I am thinking of actually making a Fallout rp, I certainly want to do one. >.>

I wish my fallout was for the PC, I would love modding the crap out of it, instead I must wait for New Vegas for new stuff.

Would you be interested in a fallout based group rp? I am almost scared to try... Not many people here seem interested in groups. >.>

The the trailor for the game shows that they look oh so much badass than they ever did. (Mixing desert rangers like tycho with the combat-armor-wearing-slaver-killing-ass-kicking-name-taking badasses that are in Fallout 2 = Squee on middie's part)

Wait... in the balls? They bringing back the Groin Shot ?!

I have been wanting to do something like that for a while, I may try it this weekend... I may not, and do it later. (sis is graduating and we are having folks over)
 
  • All melee weapons have special VATS moves now. The Golf Club's is called Fore! which is a groin shot.

Hm... Not what I was hoping for. Kinda miss my groin crits. So I am guessing Fore! will have no effect on females?

I also miss eye shots... but it is understandable why they left those out.

Oh my gawd, It makes the factions look so lopsided. NCR has the ultimate badass rangers... Ceasers legion has jokers dressed in skirts and togas. Gameinformer also says that one of the first party NPCS you can get is a NCR sniper too. I was kind of offed when I heard obsidian was doing it, but they are using all of beths stuff, so the engine should be at least similar... and obsidian always seems to do good titles.



Shay, I am thinking about changing my Vayne post, replace the greedy magistrate with a defiant AlusairanWhateverelsetheyarecalled) official declairing war on the King. Sound like a good idea?
 
I think that since the post as been made, it you change it, it might ripple effect change Dude's and mine's - depending on how it's change. Since it's already situated as part of the scene, if you wanted to add in the Alusarian (?) official declaring war on the King, then it'd be added into your next post. Maybe something like an unexpected visit from the official or something in the mid of their meeting.

But on another note... they're declaring war? I had assumed that the town was defiant overall, thus the KoD wanted to make an example of them. Been mia for some time though, so maybe that's just me being behind the times @.@

    I think it was the latest Game Informer that did say that Ceaser's Legion was at war with the NCR, and that they are a major player in things.
    So, men in skirts they may be but they have considerable power. It does make them seem silly, and their armors do look silly, but. . .I think
    the bigger things are being kept under wraps right now.

    And I'm stoked that Obsidian is working on the game. Most of the creators of 1 and 2 work there, and the project is being lead by the guy who
    wrote the Fallout Bible. I mean. . .It doesn't really get much better than that man. Maybe we'll see more stuff from 1 and 2 return.

    I did like the sniper dude situation. It's friggin cool.

Still, ladies don't have that crushable, vital organ right there... theirs are INSIDE their bodies... They will still be in pain, just not as much... plus less crying and curling up in a ball.

Yeah, the fact that Obsidian is mostly made of Black Isle refugees only sweetens the deal. I am happy enough to return to the west cost, we may see Arroyo, or something like that...

I hope they portray the supermutants as less stupid and Chaotic Evil as in 3. "good" supermutant NPCS like Fawkes and Uncle Leo would be awesome

Hmeh. I would prefer Vayne have a reason to crush alusair, even if it is a seemingly weak one. I won't make any edits then. Declaring war was a bad use of words... I meant like declaring that they will NEVER willingly surrender, which gives the man reason to smoosh them.
 
Middie let me assure u...it fucking hurts....like hell....like hell....like-----hell. It doesn't if matter the sexy part is inside....the bone on the outside...plus that small little organ call teh clit...yeah...getting hit there aint pretty. Sure a ball won't hurt...but a foot, fist, bike, and other hard things that smack directly into it will. >.<;

    Cross Dressing Super Mutants sounds. . .traumatizing. Especially if they're fabulous.
    I do think more intelligent super mutants would have made Fallout 3 a bit scarier.
    The east coast got a bunch of bad seeds and two decent super mutants. C'mon! D8
    Fawkes is freaking amazingly awesome though. Uncle Leo. . .unexpected.

    I would like to see some new Fallout Locations though.
    Eventually, there has to be on set in New York. There just has to be.
    Canada would be interesting, since it did become a part of the US in the FO Universe.

    Definitely would like to see one set in another country. To get a different perspective of how
    different governments handled the problem. If they had their own "Vault-Tec" or if Vault-Tec
    made Vaults for them as well. The later case seems unlikely, but give how evil Vault-Tec really
    is, it wouldn't surprise me.

Tabitha was one of the Master's lieutenants... Along with Melchior, Lou, and some other less named ones.
Tabitha is a supermutant who regularly crossdresses and think it's a woman. >.>
and it controls the NIGHTKIN. Thought the muties were bad in 3? Imagine them cloaked.

Of course more intelligent muties in three may have meant less hostile ones... since the master is gone, most mutants lost the inspiration to butcher and dip humans... like Marcus in 2. The east coast seemed to be full of degenerates, all stupid like Harry. I loved uncle leo... I followed him and guarded him... shortly after I blew up megaton and killed everybody in rivet city... I still couldn't bring myself to hurt him. Fawkes is wickedly awesome too.

Not likely. Vault-Tek and by extension the vaults were a plot designed by The Enclave to make sure humanity stayed pure... and to test it in the event of an Apocalypse... Unless the other governments had similar and less evil methods... . The UK... maybe... Desmond and Tenpenny both claim to come from Europe, so something had to produce survivors there... even if one of them was a ghoul.

    Super Mutants with stealth is the stuff of nightmares, only trumped by them cross dressing. And having stealth. . . .yeah. . .
    Super Mutants never really scared me. Now in a mod, there's this one new breed called Gargantuan. I'm about the size of it's
    fist. . .on it's large arm. It has a normal sized are which looks weird. Took out my 3 buddies and sent me flying before I managed
    to kill the damned thing. Scared the living hell out of me when I first saw it. They make Behemoths look like child's play.

    Yep, like I said, just had to happen. There could be some interesting scenario elsewhere in the country I think.
    And all of the Vaults have a theme to them which is something I'm sure they could put to good use. Like they're doing with
    New Vegas. Still trips me out that a dude one a vault in a game of cards. XD

    I liked Uncle Leo. Too bad you really. . .could be that nice to him or have that long of a conversation with him.

    America couldn't have been the only country that made vaults. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure the Chinese did something.
    They almost had to. And with the melt down that happened in the world before the war broke out, I think that every country
    had to have had something similar implemented.[/list:u]

Nightkin suck... I have only fought them once in fallout, right before I killed the master. BUT they are still cloaked... and have powerful energy weapons... Only one supermutant ever scared me, Frank Horrigan... But he is a supermutant wearing power armor, and has a rapid fire Gatling plasma gun and a knife taller than most people are, and whom you get to watch punching deathclaws in half with his bare fists... You don't need a mod to fight him...

Speaking of deathclaws... I want moar talking ones. >.>

Well, it does make sense that all the decisions made in that vault were coin flips or card games or slots. It was a casino based vault... some of them were just weird... One man, one hundred women... one woman, one hundred men... fifty men, fifty women and a panther...

Perhaps not Vaults, but some other system of survival, even if it was just fallout bunkers. Europe, or at least in the UK the bombing wouldn't have been that bad... china is way too to get EVERYTHING too. Plus they have the himilayas they can build things under... I would too like to see games in other places, perhaps I will base my RP around NY or in canada or something, but that will be that, not canon.
