I'm wondering if people would like me to run Star Wars Saga Edtion on these boards?

I'm brainstorming what I might run--and in what erra.

I'm partial to the erra a generation after episdoe six, to the erra described in the Knights of the Old Republic games (though I haven't played them) and too the erra described in the Legacy comics.

I often start my games at level nine, but was thinking 1 or 3 this time.

If people would like to play but don't know the system very well, I'm happy to help.
 
White rabbit is correct.

You do not need to be overtaken by the Dark Side in order to use dark side powers. Anakin never learned force lightning, but seemed to have the Dark Rage power down pat.

If you dedicate some of you force power knowlege to dark side powers, you can use them. You can even take time to meditate and sacrifice force points in an attempt to remove the dark side points you get by using negative emotions to tap into the Force. Maybe you'll pull it off. Maybe you'll go your whole career gingerly using dark side powers and never being overwhelled by them.

But...

If you only knew the power of the light side.

Hey there, very experience tabletop gamer (Mostly 3.5 then made the switch to pathfinder) who recently discovered and is exploring ERP wrapped into tabletop. I'm extremely familiar with the Star Wars EU, (Was a big fan though stopped keeping up about 3 years ago.) I've played Star Wars D20 (aka Star Wars 3.5) and have books and .pdfs from that time, I could probably learn Saga rules pretty quickly.

Any openings? And if so what characters are already in the party so I can make character who fills an empty slot. Also what would be the medium for the game, would we be playing on Roll20 for ease of chat/dice rolling/maps(or no maps)/tokens? Or on the forums here?

I have Skype and YIM for OOC chat and game talk.

So far we have two Jedi, a Zeltron girl and a Wookie guy.

We have a Scoundrel (tech specialist) and a Soldier (educated ROTC girl).

Lil White Rabit has started making a Noble for us, but I haven't heard from her in a bit. I hope she'll show up again soon.

So I went online and found a torrent of all the Saga books, looking through them now. We using Core + Legacy rulebooks? (Since we're setting game in Legacy era.)

I'll put together a character and get back to you.

Edit: So two jedi, a scoundrel, a soldier, and possibly a noble?
