I've gotten into Team Fight Tactics recently so I've been designing some League stuff for fun.

Tried experimenting with a glitch effect. Its not easy for signatures. Its easier for wallpapers I think.
This was my first draft for a neon style. It gave me the inspiration for the later works that turned out to be the final design.

For those trying to create a profile banner and are struggling with sizing, this chart might help.
I got these results mostly by trial and error. Its probably somewhat accurate but not 100.00%.
If you want to make your job easier and not abide by height constraints, work with dead space near the bottom half of your banner (space that doesn't hurt but also isn't vital, so that if it gets cropped, the design still works) or just work with a thin banner (~218px. This will give you a smaller banner when viewed on mobile).
.png .jpg and .gif are all supported.
Max file size is 2MB.

My style has always gravitated towards dark themes and colors. I find it comes naturally to me because its easier to
control the lighting/shadows in the piece. Working with lighter, more vibrant colors is always a fun change of pace for me.
I was worried it might end up with too much... white. I think the squares around the text pull from that a bit.
Oh, and I limited it to two colors only. Looks cute no?
This is more in line with what I usually make. The light source is her hand, and to make the piece 'flow' lightning wise,
I use dark brushes around to create shadows and make the piece flow.
I was/am very hesitant on the text. I feel like its usually my weakest game. I also probably
could've upped the contrast a tiny bit. The faded look does make it kinda cool and smooth
in its own way. Another technique I use here is to blur objects further in the background compared to objects in the front.
Its been a good while since I've last played with a smudged/blurred effect signature. The light source
is slightly too strong. I probably should've dialed it down a touch. However, the sharpened render with
the text placement pulls from the light a bit. The blur helps but can be seen as a lazy approach from someone in the trade.
Yup. I couldn't decide on which version I liked the most. I do think the third one is the weakest as the
warm colors are a tad over bearing, but, I think I could've made it work better if I'd invested time to
make the shadows more black and added more cinders/fire effects around Aatrox's arms. This is the kind
of things you only notice after you upload and post it and write your pretentious comments, heh.

I've only played Lux out of the ones you listed but I've used Yuumi in TFT a lot last set.
I think the champs I've been playing the most are Ashe & Sivir. I'm very new to the game though.
I'll definitely keep that list in mind the next time I play with League champs in PhotoShop though!

Ashe is a Bae! I used to main her back in the day, when people weren't pro ADCs... I also mained Caitlyn, and both Ashe and Cait has some pretty skins!
I started playing it in 2010 or something, and I am still not any good, ahah. But it's lots of fun if you don't care too much about winning!
I'm even worse at TFT!
Anyway, practice makes perfect โก

I liked the middle image the most. The balance of cool and warm colors does it for me. Looks like he's walking away from an explosion or something. And we know that's always cool.
I feel like you could have tried a few little things here or there with the text, but it doesn't look bad!! I like how you change the colors on a letter here or there. That's so neat. Makes me wish I thought to do things like that, but I don't think that's my style! ^^;

Text is really difficult because I prefer simple styles that are legible and don't pull away too much from the signature.. but those end up boring usually to most people. Its about going for something slightly more interesting while still making it legible and not the focal point. I think that's challenging most of the time for me anyways.
