Naturally, also don't forget your kitsune's.
I think it's a pretty neat idea, I'd say if you're going this route make it as over the top as possible. I'd like to see more if you get around to it.

It's a pretty early idea so I don't have everything planned out but this Anime World would take a lot of main stays. When it comes to races, I thought it would be funny to have at least 20% of the population be Nekos.
