EDIT: The RPG will start within the next 24 hours from this update. Once started I'll PM all players with links as well as post links for the various threads here.

So after the discussion here I've decided to start a Pathfinder adventure path using a slightly modified version of Way of the Wicked by Fire Mountain Games.


So what do we know for now?

Adventure Path: Way of the Wicked - modified to contain a lot more sex than the original. Player guide here.
  • Players - needing 4+
    • toshiro27: Varen, Human Male fighter - piracy
    • Gromnar: Mara, Female Tiefling Cleric (fiendish vessel) - sedition
    • Dreamguide: La'croise, male Alchemist - Arson
    • Khan: Kitira, female catfolk Summoner (master summoner) - sedition
    • Cherubian: Avara, Female Aasimar Monk - high treason
    • Kaybee: Kiara Stormbringer, female Sylph Sorceress - piracy
    • RPG-girl: female inquisitor
  • Rules: Pathfinder but not using any 3rd party rules.
  • Classes available: Anyone except those that exclude evil alignment.
  • Alignment: Evil! Preferably LE or NE. No Good alignment.
  • Races: Any core or featured races. Anything else will be on GM approval - but don't expect it.
  • Genders: Anything you can think of. Would prefer to both have male, female and anything in between among the PCs.

Luckily this RPG won't be set in the pathfinder setting of Golarion. It will be in the kingdom of Talingarde, a unique place just for this adventure path. So no one will have much more knowledge of the place except for what our glorious GM provides....

Ah, always good.

And just wondering, can I use the Dogma I submitted as a sect of Ardad-Lili? As she does not seem to have any on her page there, but it seems... in keeping with her general theme anyway.

I like the general idea of it. But you might want to tone it down a little bit. Asmodeus is the main deity and even Ardad-lili serves him. There's no denying that the ultimate lord of hell is a male. If your character can't accept Asmodeus (and the ones that answer to Asmodeus) at least as equals then she'd be in for a whole lot of trouble :D

Oh, she sees them as equals, but only because she has to. If it were up to her? The lords of hell would have collars around their necks, and more... proper management would be in place. Really, she has no problems with his daughter, and would support her if she tried to supplant her father.

But, she makes little pretense that she does not like males at all.

Oh, she would not, she would not.

Still, there is a good bit to change, and so little time to do it in.

Character wise... I'm going to be looking into Creed of Humility, and wondering if there might be a way to adapt it to a more... evil focus?

I might also ask if we could change Lili's favored weapon to whip. Dagger is just so...meh.

Also, not sure if this is something you'd do, though in my home games, I usually house rule that weapon finesse is a free feat. I don't find it very helpful nor realistic that you have to spend a valuable feat in order to be dexterious with your weapon.

Whip is already allowed as Lili's favored weapon - and do note that I allow for the scorpion whip to be used as a whip, no need for a separate WP for that.

I'll however not allow finesse to be a free feat.

As for Creed of humility.. hmmm? Why in the name of Asmodeus would you want that? There's nothing about that feat that sounds like your character, actually it sounds like the exact opposite?

Oh, yes, though if it was about instilling humility in others? Really, the only reason I ask is for the purpose of adding my wisdom modifier to Diplomacy checks, the better to convince and sway the foolish free men of the world into their proper place, and encourage women to take their rightful place in the world.

The only way I can think of to get channel energy is to take a level of a class that provides it. As far as I know there's no way for the inquisitor to get channel.

Yeah, might just go for a weapon with the Guided Property as soon as I can get one, which, I will keep and upgrade if needed, but shall keep as a signature weapon.

The only inquisitor I know that can get channel energy is the Cold Iron Warden, and its only channel to damage evil outsiders.

And if I'm not mistaken that's not going to be one of the inquisitors that a LE Whore Queen would want.

Nope, though I think the players guide or book 1 of WotW talks about allowing Antipaladins to be LE. If that's allowed, that could be a potential source.

Eh, it's not that important over all, was just something I was wondering, looking at the various ways to add other ability scores to boost your character.

That's right. You could take Anti-paladin as a LE class. But you'd need four levels of AP to gain channel energy. Much easier to take a single level of cleric.

Actually, you might want to look at warpriest...very martially-minded, gets channel a few levels in, and as they get bonus combat feats, the channel smite stuff would be right up your alley, not to mention the increased damage on your whip.

Yup, and the Sacred Fist adds my wisdom to AC, so that's a benefit. I'm torn though, I like inquisitor, but Warpriest has some nice synergy.

Honestly I do think inquisitor is more in line with the fluff of the goddess. Warpriest is of cause an option but it's often for the more warlike gods. But as with almost all else - it's up to you.

Yes, which is why I'll just be going for the Guided Weapon property, rather then the feat from this point. Already have what I want from in here.

Given Varen (Toshiro's Character) and Kiara are both guilty of piracy perhaps they came from the same ship? Just throwing the idea out there.

As I've said earlier - at least I think I said it, maybe I just thought it: You can discuss common backgrounds by PM and then tell me afterwards. Unless there's something rule breaking in the common story then I won't moderated them (so please don't make your character to the heir to the throne or say that you buried a gazillion GP in a secret location that only you can ever find).

Who would bury a gazillion GP when she could bury a stash of powerful magical items (the true currency of Pathfinder) instead?
