Davlia is a goddess of female power, and of power gained in other arenas then outright war, favoring those found in both the bed room, manipulation, and economy as her worshippers preferred weapons, though she has few issues with men being pressed into service as fodder or gladiatorial entertainment, or cats-paws in place of the death or suffering of women. Where a man's pain or death may be amusing, the suffering a woman undergoes is a sad thing, and worthy of regret.
Her avatar is always a woman of great bearing, with a lash in her hand, though the details differ depending on the region and race.
Dogma
Women are the means by which life is given, and thus men must be made to serve, and recognize their place beneath them. For the most part, men are ignorant and arrogant, having usurped women's traditional and ancient authority, reversing the natural order. This must be corrected, and any sons born to the faithful will be raised in the proper manner.
Women are entitled to gain what they wish, and should serve in positions of authority over men. The only possession that should be a mans, is the collar about his neck, the rest at the pleasure of whoever owns him.
Women are superior to men in matters of sex. They think and obsess over it constantly, and are easily controlled by women. They must be broken of their obsession, and realize that the only pleasure they may have is at the express desire of the woman who owns him.
Clergy And Temples
Her clergy is comprised entirely of women, as she will not grant men power. The hierarchy itself is rather loose, but daughters and slaves are marks of prestige, and a matron that owns an expansive stable, as well as many daughters to support her is a well respected figure in the faith.
Temples range from brothels that cater to women, selling the services of men, to cathedrals that use men as ornaments and objects, living pieces of art. They also have a tendency to double as small markets, where goods, including men, are traded and sold, as the women discuss politics and current events.
However, her worship is frowned on or banned in lands were males traditionally hold power.
