Party Hearty (Jamie and Darkness)

(Sorry for the major delay! Holidays and computer meltdown.)

Seff offered her a weak little smile now that they were all alone in his room once more. He leaned over toward her, taking her chin in hand, much the way Vixey's mother had done previously.. but rather than the jerking and leering, he leaned over and pressed a kiss to her cute little nose. "It'll be okay. Do you want to get out of here?" asked a suddenly rebellious soul.

Vixey sighed and glanced at him as he grasped her chin. As he leaned towards her and kissed her nose, she smiled and giggled softly before tilting her head. "If we do that, it'll just get our mothers angry with us." she said softly. "Are you sure you wish to face your mothers wrath?" She smiled up at him while giggling softly.

Seff offered her a wan little smile. No, no he wasn't. Whilst many boys feared their fathers' wrath.. his father barely touched upon this plane of existence. His mother, meanwhile.. he was quite sure that she could intimidate anything. And there was plenty of bite with that bark. He nodded. "I think I can deal with it. What about you?" he asked. He didn't want her to get in trouble, that much was true.. but still.

Vixey grinned and shrugged slightly. Her mother was already mad at her and her father would merely shake his head and say that they were adults and could make their own decisions. "Eh, my mums already mad at me." she said with a soft laugh. "So, do you have other clothes to change into?"

Seff glanced down toward his tanktop and sweatpants, and sighed. "Nope. Well.. actually, got some jeans. My shirt got confiscated," he said grimly. Blood splatters was not something his mother wanted to see, so they had been burned. Seff made his way toward a chair in the corner of the room, under which sat his jeans. He glanced over his shoulder towards Vixey. "Might want to look away," he advised, before he stripped out of his sweatpants and struggled into the jeans.

Vixey slowly nodded and stood up with a sigh before watching him stand up, glancing over at where his jeans sat. When he glanced at her, she nodded and quickly looked away. She could hear him changing, her ear twitching a little as he stripped off his sweatpants and began putting on his jeans. "Is your car here or did you ride in the ambulance?" she asked him.

"Ambulance. I already texted my friend Richard to bring my car by. He knows where the extra key is," he said with a soft laugh. He really did think ahead. Besides.. his car would have just stayed at the school the entire night, and he didn't particularly want that. Besides.. he had been thinking about running away from here, anyway. He didn't like hospitals much. "Okay, you can look now," he said. With his sweatpants under his arm, he approached her.. and his pocket vibrated. He dug his phone out of the pocket of his sweatpants, flicking it open. A moment later, he responded, and put his phone back into his pocket. "It's here. Shall we?" he asked, melting into a bow, his hand held out toward her with a little smile upon his lips.

She chuckled and shook her head slightly before brushing some of her hair from her face. "Sounds like you always look ahead." she said to him before turning around once he said she could. Her ear twitched when his phone buzzed and she tilted her head a little. Reaching out, she took his offered hand into hers. "We shall. However, I'll have to follow you. I have my car." she said gently. "My dad got it earlier today while I was here in the hospital."

Seff took her hand gladly, but he offered her a bit of a grin. "Actually.. hold up," he said, reaching for his phone. A few moments later, he sent out a message. "He can keep the car for the night. I don't wanna leave you, even if it's just to drive another car," he said, slipping his phone away. "Besides," he said with a grin, "I always drive," he finished, his hand squeezing hers.

Vixey was about to start out the door when he spoke up and she stopped, turning to look at him again as he began sending a message. She smiled a little wider when he said he didn't want to leave her and she nodded. At his claim of always driving, she laughed and slipped her hand into her pocket, touching the keys that were sitting there. "Oh really?" she asked as she squeezed his hand back and started out of the room slowly.

Seff grinned brightly at her. "Yeah. I figure you should get a turn," he teased, stopping her as she made to leave the room. He stuck his head out, glancing both ways. And there was Vixey's mother, at the nurses' station checking on a chart. Seff tugged Vixey's hand, starting to jog down the hall toward the elevator. He was in it and had hit the button for the first floor before they could get caught. Seff offered Vixey a bright grin, his hand squeezing hers.

Vixey stumbled slightly when she was stopped and she looked up at him, watching as he looked out into the hall. She was about to speak up when he tugged on her hand and pulled her down the hall, stumbling along after him as she tried to jog down the hall and she slipped into the elevator as he hit the button. She moved her tail just in time to keep it from being caught in the closing doors and she looked up at him with a grin, chuckling softly.

Seff offered her a sheepish little smile as they rode the elevator down. It was notoriously slow, but it was still faster than the stairs, unless your idea of a good time was literally diving down each set of stairs and praying. "Sorry about that. Just don't want us to get caught," he explained. When they hit the ground floor, Seff's hand touched upon his face. "C'mon. Let's just leave through the ambulance station," he said, knowing that he'd be recognized in the lobby. Besides, it was right by the parking lot. He led her by the hand to the ambulance garage, and out into the night air..

Vixey grinned up at him and shrugged slightly as she moved to lean against the one wall without releasing his hand. "It's alright." she said softly. "I know you were just being cautious. I wonder how long it'll take for them to realize you're gone." She chuckled softly and shook her hair back over her shoulder. When the elevator finally stopped, she pushed away from the wall and nodded before following him out through the ambulance garage, shivering a little as the night air seeped through her fur. "It's chilly out." she muttered.

Barely stopping, he leaned back inside the door of the garage, grabbing one of the jackets on the peg by the door. He passed it to her, offering her a small smile. "I'll explain it away later," he said, withdrawing the jacket for a moment so he could merely drape it over her shoulders. "And probably half an hour or so. C'mon. You know any places we could hang out for the night? I don't think either of our homes are a great idea right now," he explained.

She took the jacket from him and looked at it curiously before glancing up at him as he took it again and draped it over her shoulders and she smiled brightly. "Thank you." she said gently before looking forward as they walked through the garage. "Hmm, we could go to the cafe or to that one joined cafe and bookstore in town if you want to go someplace quiet. Or there's this one place I know of that's out of the way. It over looks a lake about half an hour from my home. We could go there if you wish." She shrugged slightly. Vixey usually didn't spend time hanging out at the different placed around town.

Seff offered her a small smile. "You're welcome," he said, knowing that his rap sheet with his mother was already going to be long. Why not add another inch or two? "The lake sounds nice," he said, after a moment's deliberation. A nice place out of the way.. that sounded good to him right now. He really only wanted to be around Vixey, at the moment. No one else mattered to him right now.

Vixey nodded slightly after he made his choice and she pulled her keys from her pocket. "Come on. Lets use the stairs over there. My car's up on the third level and I really don't feel like walking all the way around the many levels here." she said with a grin. "If you want we can stop for something to eat on the way." She tilted her head slightly with a small smile, one of her ears twitching slightly as she gazed up at him. She knew that it was going to be a cool night so she was happy she had some covers in the back of her car.

Seff nodded, and almost absently, he took her hand. He led her up the stairs to the third level, happy to simply have the warmth of her hand in his on this cool evening. When they finally reached her car, he had to swallow his pride just a little bit to climb into the passenger's seat. He liked to be the one to drive, but still.. He relaxed back in the seat, waiting for her to start up the car. "Let's just stop and get something on the way back. Or.. maybe we can just pick up a hot drink on the way? To split?" he offered, giving her a small smile.

Vixey smiled when he took her hand and she followed him up the steps to the third level. After stepping out of the stairwell, she walked towards her car, pressing the button on the small remote to unlock it. Her car was a Sapphire Black metallic BMW X3. It wasn't as fancy as his car, but it was still nice. She liked it. As he got into the passenger seat, she slit into the drivers side and pulled her belt on before starting the car up. Once it was on, the sound of celtic music filled the car and she smiled sheepishly while turning it down. "Sure. We can pick up something to drink." she said. "What do you want?" She put the car in reverse and they were soon on their way.

Seff had seen her car a few times, at Zaid's party, her place of work, school... he rather liked it, though it wasn't as sleek as he typically liked his cars. He liked to feel, like, well, a phantom on the street, though he would never admit that to anyone. -Especially- not Vixey. He wouldn't want his girlfriend to think he was weird or anything.. and it completely skipped over his mind, the way he now mentally referred to her as his girlfriend. As the Celtic music started, Seff gave her an odd look, but replaced it with a grin. "Not half bad music," he commented lightly. As they pulled out of the garage, and into the street, Seff shrugged. "Maybe some hot chocolate?" he suggested. Coffee and tea just seemed wrong to sip while on a romantic overlook.. hot chocolate seemed good.

Vixey would have preferred a smaller car personally, but her father had surprised her with this one for her birthday and she didn't have the heart to tell him that. Her father tried so hard to make her and her mother happy when he wasn't busy with a case or when her mother wasn't bitching him out about working odd hours. That one always made Vixey irritated since her mother spent almost all her time at the hospital. Usually that ended up with her parents arguing and she always played the neutral party and she'd try and end the fight. When he gave her an odd look, she felt her cheeks begin to heat up before she smiled at his comment. "Thanks." she said softly. "It always helps me relax." She pulled out of the garage and out into the parking lot, quickly and easily making her way out of the parking lot and onto the main road that led through town. "Hot chocolate sounds good." she said with a nod.

Seff offered her a small smile, giving her directions to a small place he particularly liked, that did drive-thru coffee and other hot drinks. A few minutes later, and they had their large hot chocolate in a thick plastic cup, bought extra with the chocolatey drink. He held it between his legs, his fingers absentmindedly intertwining with hers between their seats.

Vixey followed his directions to the place he liked, pulling through the drive-thru and placing their order. She payed and got their drink before pulling back out onto the main road and driving towards the lake. She smiled to herself when he intertwined his fingers with hers and she gently held his hand. Holding his hand made her feel warm inside and she glanced at him before looking forward again. The town was beginning to fade away into the background as she started down one of the back roads that led out into the woods. About twenty minutes later she pulled down what looked like an abandoned, overgrown gravel road that led to a small lake and she put the car into park with a sigh.

Seff was only too happy to drive in silence, broken only by the sound of her music, turned up after a while by him. He -did- like it, though it wasn't something he was very used to, music-wise. And, for the duration of the ride, his thumb gently stroked against the side of her hand, his other fingers intertwined quite happily with hers. As they pulled up and the car was parked, Seff reached back into the back, retrieving the covers; in the silence, he'd perused the inside of the car via the rear view mirror, and the corners of his eyes. However.. "Want to move into the backseat?" he asked, knowing it would be a bit better to cuddle close to one another.
