Doom. And holy fucking shit it was worth the money.

YES. FUCKING YES.

Huh, I may have to look into DOOM.

Onto the subject of the thread. I got dragged into The Secret World by a friend. It's... Different. But I've got to say, It's different in a good way.

Just get it. Especially if you enjoyed the original doom games.

Rise of the Tomb Raider. I've only played two hours so far, but it's good; it's very much a sequel of the last game. For reasons I can't imagine the cut-scenes run like crap on my PC, but the gameplay is pretty damn smooth-- go figure.

Huh. It's not just me then, good to know. I got Rise of the Tomb Raider with my GPU and only recently got the code added and the game installed. I've noticed my FPS tanks during cutscenes. Really good to know, It's not just me.

But it's pretty fun, I did enjoy the previous game, though it didn't feel really... Tomb Raider-ish. This sequel has done an amazing job at bringing it back to feeling much like the older games.

Did some quick reading, and it seems like it's a VRAM issue. You guys have 2GB GPUs?

Either way, the solution is simple enough - Cut your texture quality.

That's what I read, but I have a 3GB R9 280x. Switching the texture quality down from Very High to High only temporarily solved the issue. While monitoring my VRAM usage, I never really see it max out. Apparently the game has a memory leak issue, so it doesn't really matter. I refuse to turn my settings down to medium, because that defeats the point of playing the game on PC. My computer is MUCH more powerful than a PS4, so I'd prefer not to play on PS4 settings.

Uncharted 4. A very nice ending to a beautiful series. I appreciated the nostalgic feeling and the abundance of Easter eggs scattered throughout the game :)

(9.5/10, aiming was a tad funky)

Looking forward to Fallout 4 Mods on console!

It will keep me occupied until No Mans Sky is released :(

Assuming it doesn't get pushed back again.

I think they might be trying to have it compatible with VR.

I still don't know if it will be a great game but am really looking forward to the experience and exploring.

If that's the case I'd be kind of annoyed though. I mean, couldn't VR support be patched in later?

I would think so. But I am just speculating. Personally I have no interest in VR right now. Kinda interested to see what they do at E3 since a lot of people are losing patience with them.

On a side note, the pre order bonus for WWE 2k17 was announced and I am pretty excited about that :)

Kinda playing Fallout 4 once again. I nuked all of my mods, and started anew. I think I have 75, which is a modest amount. I haven't tried the survival mode yet, so that's mostly what is tempting me to start yet another new game. Just trying to dial in the more annoying mods to install: the meshes and textures for characters. I like to use Unique Player and Companions, so I often have to go into the game to make sure nothing is wonky. Pretty annoying when Unique Player doesn't work, and my PC has the same skin and body as the NPCs.

I finally picked up both Fallout 4 and the Season Pass for PC, so time to spend the next 24 hours modding the game out, and dealing with crashes! (Oh, Bethesda!) Anyone happen to have any mods they'd recommend?

i, personally, haven't really played much fallout on the pc, but what i have played, i'd recommend the 'scrap scrap' mod. it allows you to get rid of all that annoying rubble that you can't do anything with in your settlements. pretty sure you can dispose of dead bodies, as well. either way, it's a handy thing to have - makes things look a lot neater, and i'm fairly certain you get some material from the scrap that you, well, scrap.

other than that, there's some really good lighting and texture mods that make the game look a fuckton more better. anything else, i haven't really explored.. although, the fat man mod that shoots out a boatload of baby shaun's is amusing to think about.

Picked up One Piece Burning Blood on Vita... it's okay.

Outside of that, Overwatch, replaying Deception IV's quest mode and Enter the Gungeon.

Also played a demo for Uppers on my friend's Vita. YAAAY BEAT EM UPS!!

Just started playing Rocket League on PC. If anyone wants to play, hit me up. It might be cool to get some BMR games going.

I haven't played my 3DS in quite a few months but I picked up Yo-kai watch after watching the show with my five year old niece while babysitting.
It's actually pretty fun and adorable as all get
