A rehab romance (Myself, Kaiden)

" I'm not gonna let you go until you calm down, you know that. I told you my story last time this happened." Jake said taking the punches lke they were nothing he was used to them, knew how to deal with Ace while the others would let him get away with trashing his room like he was. He could tell there wasn't much left only the small dresser, bed side stand were left to be thrown.

He yelled unintelligibly at Jake, his body jerking around uselessly, "Alright, alright. I'll stop trashing my room. Just put me down..."

Jake smiled, let him go as he leaned against the wall. " You've had several warnings, I know how much you hate isolation. But keep this up, that's where your headed." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck, shook his head feeling bad for Ace. Obviously jake saw a little bit of himself in Ace, it scared him cause if he hadn't of suffered through the withdrawals he would have still been a patient instead of an orderly.

The moment his feet were on the floor Ace lurched away from Jake, grabbing the small bedside table as the guy spoke and chucked it right at him, "THAT'S WHAT I THINK OF YOUR FUCKING ISOLATION!!" He reached over and shoved the dresser down and kicked it, sending it sliding across the floor, "GO SUCK A FUCKING DICK JAKE!!"

" Ace man I know what your going through, I wis there was a way I could help you through it." Jake said as he jumped out of the way of the bedside table, sighed. He shook his head, started to walk out of the room knowing Ace would reach his breaking point which he basically already had. But jake knew he would beg for the isolation room sooner or later, knew he would be okay. The dick comment hadn't phased him one bit, it wasn't cause he was gay it's just tharpt he'd learned not to tak what ace said to heart.

As Jake began to walk out Ace threw his fist through the wall of his room, his hand nicked one of the support beams within the wall, thus breaking his hand. But he paid no heed to it and continued to smash his fist through the wall. His rage filled fit went on for another twenty minutes before he finally dropped to his knees, panting and near tears, "Take me to isolation... Just fucking take me there..." His hand was bleeding and broken as he covered his face, hiding the tears that now streamed down his cheeks.

Jake picked him up off his knees swung him over his shoulders, carried him to the isolation room. He set him down on his feet, just looked at him. " You should really let someone in the infirmary look at that." He said with a sigh, he was fine with the blood but wanted Ace to get his hand looked at. In all his years as an orderly he had never seen anyone reach a direct breaking point as quickly as Ace did.

He shook his head, holding his hand to his chest, "It's fine. It'll heal up on its own. Just fucking leave..." He had shuffled his way over to the padded wall and slumped to the ground, his body was shaking from the withdrawal he was feeling at the moment.

Jake nodded as he closed the door, walked away. He would be back to check on him later, really hoped he was going to be okay. Six years ago he had been in Ace's place, he felt horrible for the kid but knew a couple of weeks in isolation would really do him some good.

He pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them, a slow rocking motion moving his body as he just stared at the door. His withdrawals hadn't ever been this intense before, they were bordering on painful at this point and he was openly crying from the feel. His body was craving something he couldn't give it, and because his body couldn't get what it wanted it caused him immense pain in retaliation.

Zoe didn't know where ace had gone, she didn't really care she just laid on her bed with her hands folded behind her head. She sighed this was only her first day in rehab, so far she had been fucked twice by the same guy then left alone. Closing her eyes she figured she would just rest, let well enough alone for now.

He was left in isolation for five days, the second day he was there one of the clinic's medical staff had fixed his hand up, placing a cast on it so it healed properly. Once the five day mark hit Ace had calmed down considerably, his body still ached from the withdrawals, but it was bearable once again. He was let out of the padded room and escorted back to his room, they had fixed the walls and bolted down all the furnishins in the room, even his lamp was now bolted to the table it sat on.

Zoe's high had faded, she had flushed the rest of the pills she'd gotten off of Anton. She still had a stash of weed hidden in her drawers but all the pills had been flushed, she was feeling more like hetself before she got into drugs despite the withdrawl symptoms. She walked down the hall, stopped by his room hiding something behind her back, smiled as she knocked on the door. After pulling a few strings with Jake's help she'd managed to get him Taco Bell, hoped he felt up to eating.

He was sitting on his bed just staring at the wall when he heard a knock on his door, "It's obviously unlocked..." He grumbled out in response, not bothering to get up in the assumption that it was just another orderly checking up on him for what seemed to be the umpteenth time that day. He didn't really understand why, he wasn't crazy, he was just craving something he couldn't have.

Zoe opened the door, walked in with a smile. She looked cheerier then she had when they first met, a lot of the color was back in her cheeks. Of course she hadn't been ill she was just fresh meat in a rather large rehab center. " I have something for you!" She said with a smile as she walked closet to him, took he bag out from behind her back then presented it to him as she sat down on the edge of his bed.

" Your welcome.. I'll leave if you want me to. " Zoe said as she stood up, started toward the door. She didn't mind leaving him alone, thought maybe she was a little to Cheery for his liking. The thing was when she had arrived she was in an emotional slump, growng up without a father could really take a toll on a young girl. She placed a strand of hair behind her ear as her hand rested on he door, waited for him to ask her to stay.

He watched her get up and messed with the bag, "You can stay if you want... I could probably use someone cheery like you right now..." He pulled one of the tacos out of the bag and unwrapped it, munching slowly on it as he waited for her to come back. He wasn't usually one to ask people to stay, growing up without parents and living in a foster home had caused him to become severely detached from people.

" Okay." Zoe said as she closed the door behind her, sat back down in his bed. She didn't really know what to say to him, she was wrestling with the fact that while she didn't know where he was. Of course she knew he was still in the center she just didn't know where she had developed feelings for him. She had found someone that made her feel things she'd never felt before, she just couldn't exspress them now due to her constant fear of rejection.

He had only eaten half of the taco before he shoved it away, he was hungry, but eating made his stomach upset. He leaned his head on her shoulder as she sat next to him and sighed heavily, "Thanks for staying. Sorry I'm not my usual self, the withdrawl is hitting me really hard right now. I've been in isolation for the past few days cause I wrecked my room last week..." He closed his eyes and groaned, the bright lights in his room were giving him a headache now.

" I know what you mean.. I haven't been able to eat at all, flushed all my pills. All I have is a bag of weed but even its no longer appealing. I slept a lot after the pill I too before therapy wore off, I may be cherrier then normal but I truly feel miserable." Zoe said as she forced a smile, kissed the top of his head then lifted it slightly to caress his cheek. She pressed her lips against his for a second then stood up to turn off the lights at least one of them anyways, her room had been non stop darkness.
