not even under the city lights [ mintie and tatcon ]

Tenacious was probably among the most accurate words someone could use to describe Tatcon. He had been that way when he was a breathing, pulse-carrying mortal, and the transition to being a vampire had only amplified that ten fold. Her uniqueness and undeniable sensuality had piqued his interest (as she knew she did in men) and he just decided to be the most brazen man at the club tonight, and essentially stalk this young beauty until she surrendered to his wants...or her wants, tomato-tomahto.

But that feeling of victory that Tat had been feeling but seconds before was all but washed away in an overwhelming torrent of nervous impulses as he felt her clench around his body and his manhood, and he eventually succumbed to his own orgasm. This was one minor downside to the vampire routine: when the change occurs, your nerves become so much more sensitive, and everything you feel just becomes that much more of a shock to your central core. This would be why one of his hands released her leg and pressed up against the wall to maintain his balance for just a moment before he would start to sink to the floor. He would keep her wrapped around him as he sat down, pulling her in tightly as his nose drew in the scent of her sweaty body and her naturally sweet female smell.

Of course there might come the awkward part when the afterglow finally wore off, but he would think about dealing with that once the time came. For the moment he would instead concentrate on releasing his teeth from her neck and licking the wound to help it heal, and then just holding her perfect Hispanic form tightly to him, and hopefully she wouldn't notice the fact he wasn't breathing heavy...or breathing at all for that matter.

      • Certain situations like these were obviously the type you either had to learn during life or never find out from personal experience. You could hear it from someone else's mouth or experience it yourself. She was the sort of woman to do things by experience, never necessarily expecting to experience having sex with a vampire, it was merely one of those things she would eventually look back on and smile about. However, she had already gone through the experience of hearing her father scream from the grave upon the initial point of letting him into her home, rather than leaving it where it stood at the club earlier. It was already enough that she had continued on with their confrontation, not to say he was exactly in the right either being that he was a vampire toying with a human who was the daughter of a slayer. Generally, when one was told something like that, they backed off due to the fact of it being inheritant.

Her father had taught her what he knew, well enough for her to take care of herself in a situation involving someone of the other kind so to speak. Though he knew his daughter wasn't specifically going to follow in his footsteps, that was what he'd fortunately had sons for. As for now, however, the writhing of her father in his grave was tossed out just as their clothing had been tossed around in the kitchen of her apartment flat, Dulce felt the added pressure of him leaning against her to balance himself, her legs still wrapped around his waist despite his hand venturing away from it. Her back sliding down the smooth wall behind her, the young woman's released leg slid carefully out to stretch behind him on her wood floors, her chest rising and falling against his as her heart began to fade into its natural beating habits.

Only realizing he hadn't taken his mouth away from her skin until she felt the cool air brush over where his mouth had been, his tongue causing the air to stick to her skin and generate a shiver. Or, it could be a shiver for his sake. Eyes closed and enjoying the silence, the young woman found a soft smile curling her lips only to let her fingers move over the skin of his scalp, knowing she could have easily pulled out a few parts of his hair, only to have her fingers thump him gently; Biting her like she was a piece of meat or something. The experience had certainly been worth every moment, of that he was sure within his slowly calming storm of a brain as it calmed down the over sensitive neurons. He also found a small sense of serenity in the way she felt in his lap, her hands around him, and a great sensation of comfort. These were small traits he never found much of in his average hunts, and once again dangerous little Dulce had proven to be worth her weight in salt. Even whenshe thumped his abused scalp he would feel right at home, and the action brought a bright smirk to his lips.

"Vampire. You knew the risks." He said quietly as he whispered into her ear, and maybe she could feel the light warmth coming from his cheek: a side effect of her blood coursing through his veins. Blood in the midst of ecstasy was always a delicacy, and his limited average intake of blood made it all the more sweeter.

Slowly his fingers would slide along the outside of her thigh along the curve of her behind before resting on her lower back.

"Will you dance again tomorrow?" He asked, as if it would be a deciding factor on his fate for the evening. It was too much to say that what he felt was a crush, but she was a hunt he would not let go once if he could. No, he would hunt her down until he had eaten her down to the bone. She was worth at least that effort.

      • For some reason, sitting in such an awkward position and even momentarily forgetting that they were still connected so to speak, her hand that had once been on his shoulder was now letting her fingertips take a curious journey. Over the stretch of his shoulder, down his arm and back up again, moving against the curve of his neck only to slide gracefully down his back, nails occasionally gliding over his skin just as he spoke up in regards to her thump. It was odd how they seemed to obviously not want to resist the urges to touch one another, feeling the something of heat in his cheeks and directing herself to know that it was her blood that had caused that. How strange, as of course she had never been this close to a vampire and actually let one take her blood in that sense.

The tingle of his cool fingers gliding along her skin again, her own hand had found its way to the middle of his back, dark curls of hair lightly brushing over his face when he asked if she were to be dancing tomorrow. Her opposite hand gently using her fingers to move over his 'injured' scalp, her soothing touch warm as compared to his, the young woman responded quietly, " Only for a little while, " She murmured, knowing she hadn't particularly planned on dancing tomorrow, she had decided that if it meant a little extra to her paycheck and perhaps seeing him, she didn't mind it. What an odd pairing.

It would only be after she answered that question that he would dare allow himself the possibility to move away from her. However, with a confirmation that he would have a chance to see her tomorrow, he decided to finally seperate her from him, slowly sliding himself back while he kept her against the wall until he was clear. Then he would make the effort to stand up, the feeling of her warm skin still lingering all over him, everywhere she had touched with her finger tips, where her legs had held him so deliciously...everywhere.

He was still absorbing all the sensations that their affair had generated as he stood in the middle of her room buck naked, debating what he wanted to do next. It was an easy mission though, as he grabbed up his pants and wandered over to her window, pulling aside her blinds and opening it before fishing out his cigarettes and a lighter. No permission would be asked, he would just sit in the window for as much as he could and blow the smoke away from her house.

"It'll be good to see you dance again. Carnal delight in it's purest form. I loooove it." He said casually as he looked back over to her, eyes a sparkling navy blue as he gave her a big, careful grin.

      • It was odd how it seemed, with him pulling away from her, that he seemed to be pulling the sigh away from her lips as well, not out of reluctance, but out of a breath that wasn't necessarily generated to feel another heartbeat. Usually, that was what you would feel from someone when you were just that close to them, but of course she hadn't gotten that. Hadn't gotten any breathing, any heartbeat, any soul. Considerably, that could be depressing but she was still in after glow, so that quite frankly wasn't possible; Or she wasn't going to let it happen. Whichever you preferred. Air now being able to reach the front part of her body, even though he was without warmth himself, he had in fact blocked the cool air circulating through her apartment, shivering softly only to have her eyes venture toward her bed.

That was her next destination. Period. "Ay chetos," She murmured to herself, fingers reaching up and shifting through her hair to move it away from her face as she leaned forward, eyes only once glancing at him as he moved toward her window to smoke. Crawling carefully toward the edge of her bed, the young woman's sleek, though curvy figure reached her bed in no time, moving to slide beneath the covers, closing her eyes again before turning her head in his direction. Oh? He 'loved' it so to speak? " And if I'm not dancing tomorrow? " Quirking a brow when she opened her eyes and looked to him, the grin that had spread out on his face was another that thing that was constantly changing, much like his eyes.

What would he do if she didn't
dance tomorrow...now that was a dangerous question. Answered incorrectly, he could lose his quarry that he had fought so hard to get to this point, and then his future exploits would be for naught. But he already knew the answer to her question, it had come to him long before he had contemplated the loaded nature of her question. As sure as he was a predator tonight, the following evening would be no different, and as he sucked away at his cigarette and looked at her, his grin would grow a little wider, and he would finally answer.

"Then the hunt will continue wherever my chosen prey decides to go. So whether you dance or not little girl, I will find you." He said with a casual wink as he threw away the sad remains of his cigarette and turned away from the window, but not before taking a wiff of the cool, beautiful morning air. Then he slipped from the window ledge, and started to collect his clothes, sliding back into them silkenly as he contemplated his best move. He would not stay the night, that much was certain, but as he stood there in his slacks he looked at her, and then crawled over her ample blankets to her covered form and he kissed her; one long, passionate smooch from him to her. If he wasn't going to stay, the least he could do was give her a lingering feeling on her lips of him.

Just a small present to remind her she was his prey now.

She knew, just like any woman with a decent amount of thought, that it was a toss up at this point if he came to see her or not. Soft lips curling into a soft smile when he grinned over at her to respond to her question, rolling her eyes when he called her 'Little Girl' for what she counted as either the second or the third time tonight. Although she wasn't particularly fond of him calling her that, apparently he couldn't have cared less, and now he seemed to be determined to find her even if she didn't dance later on. Cocking a brow up gently, the young woman watched him toss the cigarette out her window, knowing it would hit the cool concrete outside. She knew that it was already early morning, meaning that he quite possibly needed to leave before he got caught by the sunrise and turned into a mess she'd have to clean up off her floor.

Closing her eyes gently, she felt the bed shift as he began to crawl onto it, feeling him move over to have his lips press against hers. Despite him being a being without a natural flow of blood, there was a something of warmth within his kiss, fingers reaching up and sliding over his jawline. " Come find me. " She murmured, pulling her lips away from his as well as her fingertips, giving him a soft wink of her own after looking up at her.

The term 'little girl' was just something that had stuck in his lexicon as his life had progressed, and many admitted to not being able to get rid of habits after only ten years, imagine the difficulty for a person who had lived two centuries with it? It was far from easy, especially when you enjoyed using it, and Tat had especially enjoyed the way her eyes rolled whenever he said it, and maybe it was because of that little fireball attitude of hers that he lingered longer than he should, and enjoyed her presence just as much as sleeping with her. That part was a weird combination for him, though it was something he was coming to enjoy and appreciate immensely.

Then there was her challenge. Oh, Tat did always love a challenge. Some might consider it a weakness, a downfall, and in some respects that was right because Tat had been known to take a challenge to almost fatal lengths. But this chase, the danger she possessed by being connected to the hunter community only amplified the amusement he felt known that she wanted him to find her. And with that lingering thought he said only, "I will." And slipped away from the bed before making a dramatic flying leap out her window only to disappear into the night without a sound or a whisper, just a game to be played another night.

      • Well, there was only one thing to do in a time like this, when you only a few minutes ago were caught in the delicious position that lovers were so often in; She slept. The next morning, or afternoon rather, had come gracefully in the form of the light shining through her window, the brunette up and moving around her apartment once she actually made the effort to get from the warm confines of her bed, with her night off, the female had no intention of being anywhere near work tonight unless she just so had to be. Instead taking her attention to the boardwalk, despite the cool air that had left a little bit of snow by her own home, there were still venders out tonight, selling what they could to make a profit. The large bag of cotton candy, with a stick somewhere deep in the bag covered by the pink sugary treat, held in her hand as the heels of her boots clicked softly down the wooden planks.

If she knew anything from her father's years of secrecy and being hidden enough, only on occasion would he let it slip and say a few things about his line of work. Oddly enough, her mother was the only one to really notice within the family that he was training their children to follow in his footsteps; Something she didn't realize until she got older. However, she knew that with her 'challenge' given to the vampire male the night before, she knew he would in fact come and find her. Whether it be now or later, although probably the former as the night was only so long. That was proven last night, picking off another piece of the sweet treat as she used the other hand to carefully pull the loose beret on her head around her ears, the majority of her hair already tucked into the hat.

People who were savvy to the habits of a vampire would find Tat's habit of arriving at his small apartment with the sun just shy of cresting the horizon absolutely stupid, if not suicidal. However, that was his custom, especially when a night had been as exillerating as this one. Hastily closing all the blackout curtains he would stand in front of his own bed, staring at it plantively as he contemplated the fact he had never really brought someone back here, which really was a shame. It was a modest one bedroom basement apartment complete with all the necessities, though even he would admit the decorations were scarce, having his massive television sitting on the floor in front of a beanbag chair. He had always been a fan of the foolish fads.

Once he had finally gotten to sleep time would seem to fly, as it always did when dreaming, and the following night would appear suddenly. He had the same manner of waking as her however, not wanting to leave the comfort of his bed, but eventually doing so since (as she so aptly put) the night was only so long. Grooming and showering like most men of quality did, he would be back out into the crisp evening air in a different garb, something more appropriate for a stroll, since he was getting the sneaking suspicion she would enjoy the fresh air. Untucked long sleeve maroon dress shirt it was, sitting on top of well fitted (but far from tight) black jeans were slid underneath his leather trench as he decided to to turn towards the boardwalk.

On his way there he caught a sense of her, a sensation, however he was not particularly hasty to act upon it since it was frequently rude to seem desperate. Now, first he found a good coffee shop and ordered himself a good latte...and a second one just in case. Heading back out it would only been a few moments before she would be aware of him walking next to her, the cruching of his feet on the snow barely audible.

"I only put one scoop of sugar in your latte. I figured you were sweet enough as is." He said casually as he leaned the drink towards her.

      • The white jacket she had worn the night before having been exchanged in her closet for the black one she currently wore, tucking the cotton candy away in her purse. Leaning slightly against the railing of the boardwalk that was the barrier from the beach, her eyes moved over the water that she knew had to be absolutely frigid, however it didn't stop people from attempting to be 'polar bears', something she never quite understood. Then again, the majority of the people doing it were old, so the feeling in their bodies was half past dead anyway. Her mind keeping her occupied, she hadn't necessarily noticed the male come up beside her, glancing beside her now as he began speaking; Fortunately, he wasn't some male she was going to have to tell to go away. Raising a brow only to laugh at his comment, she couldn't help herself as whether he had been aiming for it to be corny or not, it was.

Accepting his offering between them anyway, Dulce's hand slid around the warm beverage, taking it from his grasp. " Cute. Real cute. " Alright, so she'd laughed a little bit, that didn't mean it wasn't cute. Smiling softly at his company however, he had in fact done what he said he would. " You found me. " As though she were hiding or something, fortunately for him she hadn't been, and even if she was, Dulce had the easy knowledge that he probably wouldn't have minded taking a difficult route to finding her; Where ever she could have been. However, there was of course the words she had said to him the night before, telling him to come find her as she saw nothing wrong in the company of a vampire. Then again, there were plenty of things wrong with it, but she wasn't one to dwell on the negative.

Tat would easily give a small, gentle smirk when she laughed at his intentionally corny joke, looking down at his drink for a second before taking a deep sip of it. "Of course I found you. You issued a challenge, how could I resist?" He asked, looking at her for a short moment before grinning and chuckling a bit himself.

"Personally I figured you would have made it more difficult for me, knowing how you love the play games almost as much as I." He continued, giving her a subtle wink before returning to this drink. In all honesty he didn't mind the easy travel, there was something about how he felt, how she seemed and how the air hung in the sky tonight that just demanded a calm, easy night. Though he was a passionate fan of the chase, a calm time was just as welcome when the mood was right.

"Why dance at a club? With your family history I am surprised you didn't follow your father's work, though I can admit to be thankful for that in the end." He added, wrapping an arm around her lower back for a moment and giving her a squeeze before letting go and leaning on the railing as well.

      • Hands wrapping around the warm drink, she hadn't necessarily challenged him, it was merely something that seemed necessary to say. There was something among the two of them now that even if she hadn't said it, he probably would have come to find her anyway. Was that another 'unspoken' rule of their relationship? If you could even consider what this was a relationship, she wasn't entirely sure. Not one to ruin it with questions like that, she had never been a clinger, even if the man she had been wrapped in the night before was now standing beside her, clearly with intentions of being comfortable. Rolling her eyes at him because he seemed to be less than pleased with the difficulty of the 'game', Dulce clicked her tongue behind her teeth softly as she took a drink of the latte he had granted her, " If I wanted to go into hiding from you, I could easily have played that game, " He better hope she didn't 'hide' now, while he was toying with the situation as she stuck her tongue out at him.

Besides, he had chased her the night before, all the way into her bed. He didn't have to 'chase' every night, now did he? However his next question caused her to raise a brow as she drank a bit more of her warm drink, nails tapping the recyclable container now before answering his question after his sign of affection. " How do you figure I'm not using my dancing as some sort of cover? I mean after all, apparently I can attract plenty of vampires. " Considering that not only he, but another had come for her last night, this could be a likely cover for a hidden line of work, now giving her own wink to the male as she toyed with him just a little bit.

Tat would give no reaction to her first statement, instead just listening to her with a cocky smirk on his lip, especially when she stuck her tongue out at him. It is true, at this point in time he didn't want her to go hiding, she was more enjoyable in person than in a thought that she was conciously trying to make him expend time and energy in her capture. 'No, that would not be that fun...' he thought to himself with a chuckle as he drank more of his warm, sugary beverage.

He would turn his attention towards her more fully when she said she might be using her dancing as a cover. This illicited a scoff of disbelief from Tat, and a typically cheeky response, "You didn't attract me because I am a vampire, you attracted me because I am a man. So that knocks one off your tally for last night." He replied, sticking his own tongue out as a reply now as he resumed looking out into the water.

"I can remember a time that it wasn't a bad idea to go swimming in this water. No pollution, no gunk...nothing that will give you tetanus just for staring at it the wrong way." He mused singlemindedly for a long moment before turning his head to glance at her again. He had no words for her for once, biting his lower lip for a moment before facing the ever darkening air.

      • There was a gentle shrug of her shoulders when he announced that she had caught his attention because he was a man, the female looked toward the sky as she spoke, " Eh, man - bloodsucker. Same thing. " Saying it jokingly almost as though it were a 'potato - potahto' situation, she took another warm drink of her latte after she noticed him mock her by sticking his tongue out at her. Raising a brow just slightly as he mentioned a time before the water was so sickness driven, the brunette smiled softly as he began reminiscing to himself. " Old man, " Considering that the water had always been something that was considered polluted even since she was a child, despite the fact that it never actually stopped her from getting in as a child or even now for that matter, Dulce looked over his face for a moment as he seemed to be contemplating the water a bit deeper. Moving away from the railing as he seemed to be silently brooding, the brunette had begun to walk in the opposite direction, turning to look over her shoulder at him as she offered her free hand out toward him. " Unless you plan on getting in, walk with me? " Again her words had a hint of a question in them, curious to see whether or not he would actually take the time to go and get into that ridiculously freezing water. Despite the fact that the snow had failed to hide the sand, due to it warming up all too quickly, the water still held a chilly etch over it.

Curiously, since he had been speaking of the pollution and gunk, she wondered the chances of him getting sick from the not only frigid, but dirty water that seemed to splash against the shore due to the night tide. A sick vampire. The image played in her mind, almost giggling at the thought of him sniffling and sneezing because he thought he was tough enough to deal with the frigid cold.

Tat could do little bit nod in agreement when she compared standard men to bloodsuckers. In his experience this has always proven to be true, even if he didn't compare himself to a standard man...but there was no point in voicing that particular opinion, knowing Dulce as she was. Instead he just smirked in his mischivous way and looked out at the water for a bit longer before she started to walk away, which was when he redirected his attention back to her, and the outstretched hand. This was an offer he could not resonably refuse, so hauling his 'old man' bones off of the railing his tattooed hands would take her own and start walking along beside her.

"At least I don't sleep with old men. Though I have to admit that for my age I am still damn gorgeous." He retorted, looking at her for a moment before chuckling. "Perhaps it's the end result of pollution on my vampiric condition. I'll have to test it out some evening when I'm not busy being amused by your venemous tongue. Or hypnotizing swagger for that matter." He added as a slight aside, suspecting that she would expect a comment like that to come from him. Such unfiltered comments however had become a trademark of the wayward vampire, fueled by a general lack of caring what people thought of what he said. After all, he would outlive every single one of them anyway.

Although, his mind was toying with the idea of not being very happy should this vampire hunter find her way to the grave while he was still around. "...so strange.." he whispered under his breath to himself subconciously.

Although his fingers were cold, and even more so thanks to the cool winter air around them, clearly she didn't seem to mind as her own warm hand felt comfortable with her fingers mixed with his. Oddly, if one were to ask her the day before if she saw herself being comfortable around the male who even after being asked openly admitted to being a vampire, she would have immediately said no. It would have taken all the means for her to be stubborn to say that she wouldn't, as she would have continuously reminded herself that his intentions were probably, always, going to be to rip her to pieces in bloodlust. Consider it the way she was raised, really. However that was not on the top of her mind, now scrunching her nose as he made the joke of her sleeping with old men, " Too soon for that one. Just too soon. " Shaking her head at him, at least she could agree that whatever age he truly was, something she quite frankly wasn't going to concern herself with, he did look good for whatever year he was now running on.

" Well at least if you're going to test it out, do it in the summer? " However his latter words caused her to roll her eyes at him, playfully of course because the air around them so far was usually never serious. Unless of course there was sex involved, which was clearly no laughing matter. Irrelevant. " Laying the charm on a little thick, aren't we? " If one would even call it charm.

One would call it charm, or something of the like. Like many things in human speech, the definition of charm lay in the ears of the listener. "Is it a little too thick for you to cut through? I can certainly spell it out for you in more manageable chucks if that would suit you better." He would retort. "Besides, I won't tell anyone my true age, so your secret is safe with me. As for the water..." He paused for a second and looked out towards the body again, and twisted his lips as he contemplated for a long moment.

"...well, at the moment I am cold enough as it is." He said, holding up their joined hands, knowing exactly how different his body temperature was from her own just by the warmth eminating off her palm. He placed a soft kiss on the back of her hand and them let them drop back between the two of them.

"What were you told about vampires? That when we feed we always kill our victim? Because I want to come out now and just tell you that it is not true. In fact it is quite frowned upon among other vampires. Brings the attention of people such as yourself." He started. Apparently he suddenly felt keen to try and explain the true nature of the vampire affliction to her from his perspective. "Me...I don't even feed off of humans directly. I have a..contact at the local blood bank who gives the blood that cannot be used. Mostly A positive. Can't use it for much."

Now he was just throwing a stream of conciousness out at her, and he only became aware of it when he figured he might have just compromised his safe little system of existance.

"God dammit..I did it again.." He whispered to himself.

Knowing he was easily being sarcastic in regards to his charm, Dulce found it something she had already gotten used to. Something she was already comfortable with as it clearly didn't bother the woman in the slightest, her pretty eyes rolling at him for added point, only to have him disregard the water and decide to save that venture for some other time. Again picturing him as a sniffling, sickly vampire almost caused a laugh to emerge, not because it was funny but because she found it cute; Adorable even. When he dropped their hands back between them, it seemed that something triggered inside of him to begin explaining what the correct way to think about vampires was. This, frankly, caused her to raise a brow at him as she wasn't entirely put off by the odd way of conversation, just by him saying it in general. He was telling her bits and pieces about himself without her even having to ask, almost as though he had found some trust in her despite knowing that her bloodline clearly held slayer traits. Watching his facial expressions change now and even hearing him speak to himself that he'd done it again, her head tilted softly before finally Dulce spoke again.

" I'm assuming you're telling me because you think I've got some sort of bias toward vampires because of my dad hm? " It only made sense, as if he were with any other human female who hadn't gained the knowledge beforehand by being taught the signs by her father, that he would feel the need to explain himself; And their race. " There have already been plenty of chances for me to get absolutely pissed off at you for your eating habits, whatever they may be. But you can't change that, regardless of what I've heard or what I know about vampires, so even if I did hold a grudge over it, woldn't I just have to get over it? " Her question wasn't even a question that needed an answer to it, looking up at him again with a soft smile as she shrugged her shoulders and turned her vision back toward the sidewalk they had now transferred over to. " I like your company far too much to be picky about what blood type you prefer. Now go on, keep telling me about your life so I can kill you afterward. " Again, she wasn't serious with the latter portion, never entirely having it in her heart to follow behind in her father's, and now brother's footsteps. She had no interest in it. She could only imagine now, however, what her brothers' reactions would be if they caught any sight of their baby sister holding hands and being affectionate with a vampire.

Daddy's rolling around in his grave right now.

Tat would listen to her attentively as she spoke, and definitely made note not to respond to her rhetorical questions since it wouldn't do him any good, not that he was ever one to do the right thing. When she looked up at him and smiled he would return the gesture, smirking a bit and returning his gaze to the road ahead as she continued.

He would chuckled softly one she had finished, and then would just stop moving as his hand swung her around and brought her into a tight embrace and a kiss. "Well, I'm glad to see you're so keen to exploit my trust in you to futher your family's malicious agenda." He replied, giving her a soft squeeze before letting go and resuming the walk.

"You should consider yourself lucky. There has only been a small handful of people who had somehow manipulated me into a sense of security so that I start spilling my heart like that. Must be your eyes or the way you kiss." He continued to tease, contented grin placed on his lips as they continued to walk, and then he looked up for a moment. "Aha, perfect mistake. Come." He said, tugging her to the left and into the lavish lobby of one of the city's large office buildings. The floor was onyx coloured marble that led to granite pillars that reached for a few stories up into the open concept building. "Let me show you the view from my office." He said, giving a nod to the rather palid security guard behind the desk as he continued to the elevator and pressed the button to bring the stainless steel elevator down to their level.

Moving with his swift tug and pull, Dulce smiled softly against his lips as he kissed her and even went as far as to keep the sarcastic aura going. It was all in good fun, clearly, and if neither of them had a sense of humor the night would be dull and uneventful. Fortunately, neither of them minded picking at one another's odd little quirks thus making this situation comfortable as she moved again to walk along beside him as he let her go. Laughing softly when he announced it as a way of her manipulating him in that he 'spilled his heart', the woman rolled her eyes when he tried to blame it as the way she kissed, only to easily add, " Among other things. " Of course she hadn't necessarily forced him to so called 'spill his heart' to her, not minding that he felt comfortable enough to do so, it almost made for a warm spot in her heart. A warm spot for a cold vampire. Looking up as well at the building they had grown near, she raised a brow slightly as he directed her into it, curiously letting her eyes roam around the interior of the lobby. Well this was just odd, now wasn't it?

Again there was a quizzical expression on Dulce's face when he mentioned showing her the view from his office. His office? " An office? " Of all the things he had blurted out on accident, there was never any mention of this, curious expression remaining over her face as they both moved into the elevator once it made its soft 'Bing!' and the doors slid open to allow them access.

Yes, an office. Truly! It was no accident that Tat let this small fact slip, though he had frequently held this truth away from most people. As before, Dulce had quickly grown to be a notable exception. Pulling her along, he would bring her in to the elevator, and rub his right leg against a card reader, the pass in his pocket causing the reader to beep cheerfully and flash a green light.

"Don't you ever wonder how someone like me can manage to own nice clothes and appear to spend every night at a club? Trust me, it is not a matter of trust funds or theivery...all the time anyway." He said as the elevator slowly climbed towards the top floor. "I own several corporations that pull in a good enough revenue that I do not need to be here too often." He said with a casual shrug as he pulled her into another close hold, looking down at her with a wide grin on his face as the elevator slowly trudged upwards.

"I hate fast elevators. This is the best time to get a break." He added casually before tilting his head down and giving Dulce a long, comfortable kiss as he held her tighter for a moment before glancing back at the floor counter to see where they were.

"Twenty floors to go."

Well wasn't this just odd. The mental image of Tatcon sitting at a desk and sipping a cup of blood, donated from the blood bank of course, flashed through her mind, almost enough to cause her to laugh softly. Raising a brow at him however when he mentioned appearing to spend every night at a club, the woman shrugged her shoulders gently, " I've only seen you once at mine and it doesn't cost that much to get a drink with an umbrella. " She added, though it did make a bit of sense that one would automatically connect him having money to years and years of stealing. Hell he had the time, so why not make a bit of fun out of it? Or maybe that was just her opinion. However his explanation of it took her by surprise, tilting her head slightly because it was absolutely unexpected. Well, what she was actually expecting was a bit silly and probably irrational, but again, she pushed that thought all from her mind. Duh Dulce. Feeling herself get pulled again close to him, her frame now leaned against his as his arms made sure to wrap her up in an affectionate grip, smiling softly at him now as he stated his opinion on elevators.

It didn't actually matter until he began to kiss her, her own lips warmly moving against his before he pulled away and announced that they had twenty floors to go from the one they had just slowly crept past. Christ. " And no one asks why you don't come around in the daytime? " She asked, although with a faint lick of her bottom lip, the question didn't need to be answered immediately, her warm lips moving back to his. Well, there was twenty floors to go, might as well make a bit of fun out of it.

"Then you didn't pay enough attention my dear." He said as she stated that he had only seen him at her club once. In all honesty the club she worked at was one of the few he frequented often, but more often that not he would keep to himself and simply enjoy the atmosphere then go home. Dulce had been a notable exemption for that club. He usually grabbed his affairs from a different pool of flavour across town...but that was relatively irrelevant now.

He would then be lost in her Spanish kiss, holding her tighter after she came back in for seconds, turning her around so her back was placed against the wall of the elevator gently. It would be a while (around 13 floors) for him to seperate himself from her seduction long enough to actually answer her question.

"Not many people know who I am. They know that someone runs the company, however my employees, save for a few, know me only as an amorphous entity that signs their cheques. The others are either blood bound to me, or other vampires. The security guard for example." He answered, and by the time he finished the elevator would dig for their arrival.

His office was on the top floor of the massive buisness structure, the ceiling of which was just panels of glass to give them a clear view of the night sky above. The floor was simple black flooring resembling marble, but for weight reasons was a composite. And all there was for decorations was a solid dark wood desk in the perfect middle of the room, complete with the required light, computer and files. Considering, it looked incredibly sparce for someone who owned several large companies.
