It wasn't a full-fledged nap, per se. But Mary Alice did fade in and out of consciousness. If one had to use an appropriate term, it was more or less rapid eye movement. The emotional and physical tolls her body and mind had all endured began to help the actress drift into a small sleep. It wasn't as much or good as it could have been. But it was definitely something. And with how things were going, she was steadily appreciating what Mary Alice did continue to have. Her life was a major item upon that list but definitely not the only one.
While she could have strained to hear Daniel, her body didn't allow for her to. She was too exhausted and sore. Only when her mind registered the sensation of being picked up and moved once again did her eyes even open and remain that way. A low groan left as her head shook weakly.
"... Please don't do this." She whispered, beginning to blink and adjust her sight. A van was the first thing to catch her blue orbs. Next was the back opened, some supplies inside, and finally ... the cage. Her feet must have been moving on instinct because she definitely didn't remember taking steps. The sight of the steel and temporary home made Mary Alice's eyes narrow.
"...Fuck sakes, Daniel. I'm not some dog or some crap of the like." She murmured, merely staring at it for a few moments. Her gaze lowered as an infuriated sigh soon left. It was incredibly reluctant ... but a few more seconds later, Mary Alice crawled inside. Her mind hadn't needed to think long or much to know it'd be stupid to try to break into a run. Her body would likely fail her, especially with how weary and aching it was from everything. And even if that succeeded, he was right behind her. It wouldn't take for him to do much but reach out and grab her arm, hair even, and force her in.
Still, Mary Alice was careful to avoid making too much contact with her whipped rear and back. She sat down, trying to get as comfortable as possible despite the cage being cold to her skin's touch. The change in temperature of the structure plus that of her body made her shake and shiver as her arms went over her body to keep herself warm. She'd give anything - well, almost - for a blanket. But that was likely pushing her luck for the time being.
Pulling her knees up in front of her chest, her head fell upon her patellas. A defeated sigh left her lips as her eyes closed again. "May I at least know where we're going exactly?" She finally inquired. There didn't seem to be much harm in him revealing that much, not when her cell phone was still in her jeans pocket back in the house. For that matter ... did he grab any of her clothes? What was going to happen? All the what-ifs and scenarios made butterflies begin to fly around in her stomach.
