Breaststroke and other innuendos (Charliesweb7 & Crusade)

"It will be nice. Considering between school and swimming... I don't have much of a social life. If i want good grades...I have to study a lot. If I want to be a good swimmer, I have to practice a lot. Not many people understand that. Certainly not any men." She replied. She hadn't had sex in so long... and toys or her fingers only got her so far. Aurora hoped one day she would find a man who understood. Maybe in another year she would. She finished up, then bringing over some items and spooning them onto the plates before then setting them where the dogs couldn't get them. She gave them a kong with a treat inside of it, sending them off into the living room so that they wouldn't be eating dinner with dogs on their legs.

"Things will get better, Aurora. Guys can only be blind to beauty and charm for so long," he said, taking a seat at the table once he saw her start plating the food. He realized if they didn't get together, guys might be a little weirded out by the fact that she had a guy for a roommate. He hoped that wasn't the case. Although, he could definitely see himself getting jealous if she did have a guy over. He didn't know why he was thinking that way. It wasn't as if the two were dating, but in the back of his mind, he could see himself with her.

Aurora blushed a little bit, it rising in her cheeks when he spoke. Was he commenting in general or about her? She just smiled soft and took a sip of her wine. She would love to date her coach. He was sweet and so handsome. Was it sad that she had thought about sleeping with him a few times? Most of the girls on the team had. "This will turn up." She replied. "For the both of us." She added to him. "Well, dig in. I hope everything is good." She replied, cutting up her chicken.

"Thanks again for this. It looks amazing," he said, taking a bite of his chicken, nodding his head approvingly before washing it down with a sip of his wine. "Wow," he said simply, reaching over, giving the top of her hand a playful tap. "This is awesome," he added, running out of adjectives for her and her cooking.

Ryan could definitely see things working out between them. The only problem was, he was still her coach and going from coach to boyfriend meant making a move, one he wasn't sure he could make given the circumstances. It was going to be interesting, to say the least.

"Thank you for helping me! And then chicken turned out perfect. And you were afraid." She teased him gently. She took another small sip of her wine before taking a bite of green beans. She chewed and then smiled. "Thanks, I am glad you like it! I figured it would be better than you going back to hotel and having something not so healthy. This is pretty healthy for you." She replied. This is how she cooked a lot. Healthy food didn't have to be terrible. Her eyes glanced over him, hatching a glimpse of his beautiful blue eyes. If he made a move...would she accept it? She was unsure. She just knew that this handsome man was sitting across from her. He probably thought of her as a child though.

"I promise I'm going to repay you for all of this, Aurora. I'm not used to hospitality like this. Even growing up, we never had sit down meals. It was just a bunch of people scrambling to eat whatever they could. This is really nice," he said, giving her a genuine smile. He took a moment to look at her sitting across from him. He couldn't find one fault. She was gorgeous, could hold a conversation, was clearly smart, a great swimmer and just as good a cook.

She shook her head gently. "I don't need to be repaid." She replied gently to him. "I am doing this because it is the right thing to do. Help someone out when they need it." She replied. She frowned gently when he spoke. "We always had sit down meals. My father insisted. And even if my mother was working late, we would all step in to help with dinner. It was important. To converse about what our days were about." She mentioned to him. "I do miss it. Even if my brothers were rather rowdy and dinner usually ended in some sort of little tiff." She teased, laughing a bit. "You know my dad is a swim coach as well." Aurora mentioned to him, looking up.

"Is he really? That explains it. Things like that usually do run in the family. My dad didn't swim, but he was an athlete. I grew up going to the local pool just as a treat to myself. Taught myself to swim and just kept getting better. It became a passion. I guess it never left me," he said, shrugging. He wished he had better stories to tell about his family, but they were disjointed. It wasn't really warranted.

"Another glass of wine?" Ryan asked her, realizing he'd downed his glass rather quickly. He usually wasn't a big drinker, but with a hearty meal in his stomach and good company across from him, it seemed appropriate. He poured himself a second glass and offered the bottle to her.

Aurora rubbed the back of her neck, biting on her lip. "Hunter Delacroix?" She whispered. Ryan should know that name. It had been plastered over every single banner. Her father held about 10 different pool records. Some for more than 20 years. Some still standing today. Racked up a crap load of NCAA titles and such. No one had ever asked if he was related to her but yes. Her father. Ryan should know considering he beat some of those records and the coach knew her father personally. "All of my brothers were swimmers. My eldest Ian was rather good. Swam in college as well. The rest played football, baseball, ruby, hockey, soccer and such." She told him. Aurora looked to her glass, shaking her head. "Not right now. Thank you though." She replied politely with a gentle smile.

"Hunter Delacroix? Really? No fucking way! I can't believe I never put two and two together. The guy is a legend," Ryan said with a laugh, clearly knowing and respecting the name as he set the bottle back down on the table. He'd already cleared his plate, his stomach full. The meal had been great. The best Ryan had in ages.

"So, the gene definitely runs in the family, then." He took a sip from his newly poured glass of wine and then stood, taking his plate and silverware before offering to take hers as well, carrying them to the sink.

Aurora blushed a bit. She knew that originally when she joined, a lot of guy's team teased her. Saying that she could never be as good as her father. That a girl couldn't be that good. But she was showing them. She showed them all what she could do. But the pressure was hard. When her father was induced into the hall of fame at the college, the coach begged her to come swim. He knew she would be good like her father. He begged all the children. She shrugged her shoulders. "We are just an active family I guess." She added. "Oh there is more if you want more. Or the dessert should only take a few more minutes." She replied to him. She took the last bite before handing her plate over and standing up.

"I think I have just enough room left for dessert," he said, knowing he wouldn't be able to have seconds. He hadn't even anticipated dessert, but it was a welcome surprise. Ryan stood at the sink and washed the dishes, turning back to look at Aurora as he did.

"So, growing up in a house like that, you must be super competitive then, huh?" he asked, knowing it ran in the family. He always had competed with his brothers and sisters when he was younger, so he could relate to those kinds of things.

Aurora smiled, going over and putting the food into a container to save for another night. "Kind of. I mean, I was the only girl so it was a bit different... But you could say that." She whispered. She frowned a bit at the thought. Her father was always tough on her. He was a retired Navy Seal, so he knew perfection. He seemed to praise the boys but she was always different. Maybe she just wanted to prove to everyone how good she was? So that is why she hated losing? Because she would see her father disappointed in her? Most people never saw her lose at swimming. She was not the most gracious loser. Or even with failure. It was embarrassing to say what she even did.... The timer then went off, her moving over and grabbing out oven mitts. She pulled out the small tray with two dishes of berry and peach cobbler. "I just need to let these cool down a bit. But what about you? Do you have any siblings?" She asked.

"Two older brothers and three younger sisters. It was a madhouse growing up, but with the older brothers, I had to be tough and competition was a part of that. And my sisters, I just tried to care for them as best I could. My parents were always either working or out doing something, so it was basically just us kids. It was crazy, but I think I'm a better person because of it," he said, finishing up the dishes. He dried his hands on the hand towel and peeked over at the dessert. Now a sweeter aroma overtook the kitchen.

"I'm going to let you in on a secret. I have a massive sweet tooth, so thanks for this," Ryan said as he stepped over to Aurora and placed an arm around her as he glanced down at the dessert. "They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. If that really is true, I'm pretty sure I should be professing my love to you," he added with a laugh.

"I understand that. My mother was a nurse so her hours were crazy. And my father didn't get out of the Navy until I was about 9." She replied. "So things were crazy around my house as well." She told him. "Looks like we got a few things in common." She told him. Both kind of big families. She looked over to him, looking to his arm around her waist. She almost wanted to blush. "Oh?" She asked with a smirk. "At that rate, I guess all I had to do was make dessert. I guess I didn't need some sweet talking to get you to love me. I guess that means I can get you into bed easily huh?" She asked, then her mouth a little wide. "Oh I am sorry, that is really inappropriate..." She added, hiding her red face.

Her comment caused Ryan's eyes to widen and he turned to look at Aurora, who was hiding her face. He couldn't help but smile, realizing she'd just spouted off at the mouth and didn't actually mean to say what she did. He figured he'd just play along to help ease the awkwardness.

"Don't be sorry. And yes, you can most definitely get me into bed easily," he added. Although it was meant to ease her mind a bit, there was truth behind it, and he hoped she caught on to that. He really was extremely attracted to her and the more he learned about her, the more drawn to her he became. He walked around back of her and placed his hands on her shoulders, giving her a quick, impromptu massage.

"Just relax. Take it easy," he assured her, wanting her to be comfortable even when dropping innuendos.

Was that the truth? Did he want to get into bed with her so quickly? Or was he trying to make her feel like less of a fool. She was so conflicted... she would be the rebound. She lightly tensed as he massaged her. But then it was just so nice... she had so much tension there. "Oh that feels nice..." She whispered, her shoulders dropping a bit. Yes... it was so nice. She had been under a lot of stress with midterms and such. She needed some type of stress reliever besides swimming. Aurora pressed her lips tighter, making sure not to moan.

Ryan could tell she was tense. He wasn't sure it was from what she'd just said or swimming and school or just an amalgamation of all of it, but the way she responded, he didn't want to stop. Instead of just a quick massage, he extended it, kneading his fingers into her muscle, taking a step closer to her as he did so.

"Like I said before. I definitely owe you, for all of this," he said, although he wasn't doing it for that reason at all. "I just want you to forget about everything for a while. The same way you've made me forget about my problems," he added.

He was doing a great job in helping her out. Her eyes closed and she inhaled a deep, relaxing breath. "Yeah..." She whispered. He was doing so good... She swallowed, her so tempted to ask for more. A full body massage.... Aurora knew that was wrong. "What did you have in mind?" She whispered to him. What did he want to do to repay her?

"I can think of a few things..." he said with a smile, although his thought was quickly interrupted by the sound of his phone ringing in his pocket. Ryan let his hands slide off of Aurora's shoulders and he sighed. "Excuse me, one minute," he muttered, taking a few steps away from her as he lifted his phone. He saw who it was and was tempted to ignore it, but answered anyway.

"Hello? Yeah, and? You did what? Seriously, April? Grow up. You do this and then go and rub my face in it? Good for you. Yeah. Fuck off. Goodbye." With that, Ryan shoved his phone back into his pocket and tried taking a deep breath. His face was flush from anger and he tried to do anything in his power to just compose himself.

"Mm, like?" She whispered. The sound of a phone going off jolted her from her thoughts. She blinked, looking around before allowing him to go off. She went over, placing the cobbler into the microwave for safe keeping at the moment. She turned around when she heard him speaking. Oh boy.. "What is wrong?" She whispered, going over to him. Aurora looked up at the man, blinking her eyes. "You can tell me." She whispered, placing a hand on his forearm. What was going on? What did April do now?

Ryan looked up at her, guilty for having to have her listen in on everything. He was tired of telling her about how awful April was, but one more story couldn't hurt. "She sold most of my stuff. My tv, my bed, my sports memorabilia. All of it. Gone. In a fucking day. I swear, she's demented. I never did anything to make her act like this. I don't get it," he said, looking into Aurora's eyes. She'd be able to tell how vulnerable he was in that moment.

Aurora frowned when he spoke. "That is terrible.." She whispered to him. The sports memorabilia by far. She hoped he could get that stuff back! If not, she knew a few people to call. Her father being ex-military had its perks. She blinked her eyes, hugging him tightly. "I am so sorry..." She whispered, her breasts pressed tightly against his chest. She was still in those yoga pants and top, it zipped down to show off part of her bra. "She is a bitch." She muttered against his chest.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. The more I learn about who she really is, the easier it is not being with her. I just wish I realized it sooner," he said, hugging Aurora back. Her body felt perfect against his own, her curves evident, feeling her breasts so full against his chest. He pulled back and placed his hands on her waist, his eyes finding her own. "Let's just...not worry about her anymore. I don't think I can handle it," he said, knowing if another call came through from April, it was going to be ignored. She made him sick.

Tomorrow was Saturday and they didn't have a meet until next week. They could go look for some thing. "It is alright." She whispered, looking up to him. "Right. What can I do to take your mind off of her?" She asked. Her hands were on his chest, her eyes eventually dipping towards his lips but found it own. He had been hurt so much...she just wanted to help. That was all. Just to help. Even if that was with sex..
