Winston looked down at her and rolled his eyes. "You are the one who need to relax, remember?" he asked, then called for a maid to bring the all breakfast. Luckily, they were all ready working on it the kitchen, so it wasn't long before food was set on the table.
Anna sat beside Rhys at the table, took a sip of her coffee. The kitten still sat in her lap, curled up in a little ball with his casted arm sticking out. "Nyx, are you sure you don't need anything? I'll be at home all day today, so I can stay with you while you rest if you'd like." With that, she smiled.
Winston sat down between Connor and Nyx, patting the other man's thigh under the table to silently comfort him. As he began to eat, he looked over at his brother, wondering if he already tried to have a talk with Annabel. Part of him wished he hadn't, because part of his felt he had made a mistake by even suggesting it. Why steal his brother's happiness? Maybe it wasn't practical, but damn, Rhys needed to be happy.
