She threw her bag down on her bed and sighed softly smoothing her hair out and laying back in her bed and drew the curtains and looked up at the ceiling, she didn't have tear ducts so she couldn't do the human thing and cry... she wanted to cry... she loved lawrence but it was of no use they couldn't be together unless he just wanted to get beaten all the time and her having to come to his rescue each time, the thought made her sick to see him with bruises and cuts and swollen body parts all the time, they just needed to leave and go somewhere remote so they could just be them and not have to worry about other judging them, she smiled at the thought but then heard her door bell, she bolted up and went to the door.
 
Lawrence was standing there as he looked at her. he had been crying as he looked at her and he said "please... please don't close the door on me" he begged as he looked at her "please..." he tried to move a bit forward, in truth he was very tired and all he wanted was just to lay down and relax. his entire body ached but he had to get her back. He looked into her eyes and he reached out to take her hand "I love you" he said quietly 'please... be with me' he was speaking softly, in truth he did not want others to hear. They needed to keep their relationship a secret. He just wanted her to come back to his house, to be his girlfriend...
 
She looked to him with worry and gently took his hand before pulling him in gently and closing the door, he had never been to her house before they had always gone to his house but now he was going to see her room, she opened the door and sat him on the bed.... which it really wasn't a bed more like the largest pillow known to man was in the floor with a giant curtain draped around it, it was all greens and browns very earthy feel to everything, she left him and went to her bathroom and coming back with another glass of water and sat beside him like before " we..... we will talk after you rest.... and i don't want to hear no for an answer, "my parents are away so don't worry"
 
He just nodded as he took the glass of water she gave him and he drank it. He looked over at her and he said "I'm sorry..." before he gently lay back on the pillow and he did wince a bit but he closed his eyes and he tried to rest for at least a little bit. In truth he did not want to, he wanted to talk with her but he knew how stubborn she was at times. So he submitted for now, and soon he was asleep, just taking a small nap.
 
She watched him quietly and smiled slightly before standing and getting another shower to get the chlorine out of her fur and hair, after 30 minutes she stepped out and moved to another bathroom to groom herself, she stayed in there for almost and hour fluffing herself up and walking back in, she saw him still asleep and changed into some clothes that were comfy and sat down next to him reading a book.
 
Lawrence began to groan a little while after she started reading as he woke and he opened his eyes, his vision slightly blurred since his glasses were on the night stand next to him as he looked up at her and he gently reached out for her hand as he began to sit up. "Charis" he said as he looked at her and he gave her a soft smile as he looked at her. He was happy to see her beside him and he knew that now they would have a chance to talk.
 
She smiled down at him as he sat up, " how are you feeling?" she asked quietly and put her book down and sat back looking up at him with a smile, she knew he wanted to talk and she knew she would have to accept anything he threw at her at this point.
 
"I am fine" he said as he looked at her. In truth he was still in quite a bit of pain but he ignored it as he moved closer to her and he said "Please... please be mine" he said as he looked at her "I know I am not big or strong like most anthro males but I will love you and care for you more than any other man" he said as he looked at her, his eyes tearing up "please... please be my girlfriend"
 
She frowned looking up at him and sighed softly " Lance you do not realize that these males can kill you, because you are with me... can that not get into that thick skull of yours?" she said a bit harshly than she would of liked but it was the truth, she loved him dearly but he should risk being killed over her, she moved her hand out and stroked his cheek gently gazing down at him " i love you to much to lose you"
 
"Then you know why I am here... begging for you to be with me..." he said as he looked at her and he placed a finger on her lips to keep her from talking as he said "We can keep this relationship hidden... I promice you that we will keep it hidden and neither one of us will be hurt... we just have to get through this last year of school and we can run away together please..." he gave a small sigh as he held both of her hands in his own "I have wanted to be with you for longer than I can remember... just give me a chance... that is all I want..."
 
She closed her eyes slowly and sighed softly sitting up and leaning forward rubbing her paws in her fur gently before looking to the ceiling then to him before nodding " alright, but we have to keep it hidden, and you know what that means? Im still going to be asked on dates and everyone will wonder why im not going on them, and will wonder who i am with, so im going to have to go on dates, but nothing will happen."
 
In truth he hated that part but he gave a small nod as he looked down a bit "I understand..." he looked up at her "but... I could go through anything... just to know I have you by my side" he said giving a small smile as he then moved closer to her, hugging her "thank you..." he said to her softly.
 
She smiled and hugged him back gently and laying her head on his shoulder gently, she rubbed his back with her fingers and kissed his neck softly before pulling back slightly " you should rest more... don't worry i will be here, you are in my room after all."
 
He gave a small nod as he lay back and he gently reached out and he grabbed her hand quickly before she could pick back up her book and he said to her "I... I love you so much" there was a small tear that went down his cheek as he lay there though it was harder for him to go to sleep this time. Though he did close his eyes and at least try to rest.
 
She gazed at him and smiled slightly " i love you to lance" she said quietly and leaned down kissing his lips softly then sitting back and started to read again letting him sleep as long as he wanted.
 
He gave a soft sigh when he felt her lips on his and he slept for another hour before he woke and he sighed as he sat up and streched though he quickly regreted that decision as it did give him a bit of pain. He looked at her as he tried to pass it off as just slight muscle strain and he gave her a soft smile before he then moved a bit closer and he said 'Morning" he grinned, true the phrase itself ment little considering it was now mid afternoon but still considering how much he had been sleeping it felt that way.
 
"MMM afternoon" she said and glanced up at him before going back to her book, she finished her page and closed it gently setting in on the low table beside her and sitting up yawning softly " god i feel lazy... how are you feeling?" she asked looking at him before getting up and going to the bathroom and coming back with some pain killers handing them to him and his water before sitting back down.
 
"Better" he said smiling to her as he took the pain pills as he looked at her "all because I have you" he said as he moved a bit closer and he heald her hand in his own as he watched her. "You know last night and this morning..." he said as he looked at her right in the eyes "I can't think of a time where I was happier..." he said as he gave her a small kiss on her nose.
