"Oh no it's OK..it's just I wanted to live alone. I love my parents but I feel so restricted living with them. I was always wanting to live on my own but didn't have the money...but now I have more than enough..." Dane explained. "I still get to visit them during the holidays though..." Dane said. Dane saw he was closing in the bookstore. "Hey maybe we can meet with them someday"
 
Belle eyes him for a few moments. It was the second time he said that. "Sure why not," she smiled sheepishly, opening the mirror over head to check her eyes. She didn't want the colors to change with the weather and mood unaware, if she looked at least she's know and try to be cautious about it. Apparently humans aren't used to it.

She pushed the mirror up again and unbuckled her belt.
 
Dane and Belle got in the book store and immediately went to look for the book he remembered, making sure Belle stays close to him. "Hmmm..must be somewhere here..." Dane mumbled. It was always a chore to look for the right book here if it wasn't a recent release. After a half hour he found it, showing it to Belle. "Here it is. Though this is just the first book of the series" Dane said. The harem book series was quite popular so he was lucky to find even one of them in the store.
 
Belle smiled slightly picking the book skimming through it... "Okay sounds interesting.." She eyed the cover.

Rebecca sat at Dane's front porch waiting for them to return, she could begin planting her doubt seeds once they got back
 
Dane went to the cashier and paid for the book. "Do you need a bottle of water, or you still have yours?" Dane asked Belle. Dane then thought that he would like to fish some more, making sure Belle stays in the house this time.
 
That just made her realize she misplaced her bottle. She gave him a sheepish smile. "I'm gonna need another bottle, especially if we're staying out," She picked the book in the small plastic bag.

Funny as it was, Belle was not the first case of a disappearing merfolk, many of her kind had gone or disappeared from their clan. Though no one knew for sure where they went, hunches was that they escaped to the human world for some reason. Though Belle had thought them foolish to be so reckless, but now she understood them in new light.

She licked her lips slightly. "What's that?" She blinked eyeing the odd book. Her brows shot up, ' fifty shades of grey' "That looks weird..." she prompted approaching the book under all the tags that stated it was a best seller.
 
Dane looked at the book Belle was interested as he buys the bottle of water for her. He had not read "fifty shades of gray" but have heard a lot about it. He just didn't see the appeal though. "YOu want to get that book too?...I'm afraid I don't know much about it though." Dane admitted
 
She shrugged slightly " the cover is very odd " she shrugged again, " but the one we got is enough for a while" she admitted.
 
Dane smiled, thinking Belle made the right choice. He and his mermaid went out back to the car and drove off, heading to the nearest Sonic. He smiled, seeing that Belle was already reading the book during the drive.
 
A lot of vocabulary was new, and terms that appeared to be some slang she did not understand. Her lips twisted at the odd characters. She raised a brow and glanced at Dane, "You read this?" she asked curiously as he drove.
 
"Well not much but I used to. Is there something wrong with it?" Dane said, pulling up to a Sonic drive-thru.
 
Belle shrugged and let her eyes drifted back to the book. "I'm just a little.. Confused I do not understand some of these terms." She admitted.
 
Dane ordered a couple of hamburgers and chocolate shakes. "Ok...which terms are you having trouble with. Maybe I can help." Dane asked.
 
(Hehe I have no idea what they are wing it..)

Belle leaned close and showed him the book, "this one for starters." She glanced up at him from the way she was leaning she looked up at him.

She glanced at the window of the drive through, the smells of the fries and burger was all too delicious even before eating.
 
As they got the food they ordered, Dane helped Belle with the words, such as mythical, orgy, and 'harem' especially. As they ate, Dane tried explaining what a harem is. "Well..a harem is basically a group of girls who belong to a man, like multiple wives." Dane said to Belle. He wondered what Belle though about harems.
 
Belle made a face. "How could women belong to a man? In what sense I don't understand." She shook her head taking a fry.
 
"Well...not like belong to them like a slave but as a mate. The man takes care of them while the women live together with him. If the women love the man equally and don't have faults in sharing him, then that would be a harem." Dane said
 
Belle was aghast. She couldn't imagine that at all. One would consider love intimate, close one on one. She couldn't even begin to understand the more than one thing. She shuddered at the thought. Perhaps it was because of how her people viewed mating.. Her world- so to speak- could and would not accept that.

She took in his words and let her eyes drift back to the page. "I still don't see how that works, " she shrugged and tried reading on. "Does it work the other way around? With one female and more than one male?"
 
"I suppose it can. Though I've never heard of one....do you hate the idea of a harem?" Dane asked, seeing her face after his explanation. Frankly, Dane was a bit interested of the idea, but he never would say it.
 
Belle shrugged. "I don't know I never tried it never even thought of it." She admitted. "It's just.. Well maybe ..." She shrugged again picking her burger.

"Are you?" She asked curiously.
 
"YOu mean...do I hate the idea of a harem?...well...not really...I kinda like the idea..but it's not like something like that will happen to me." Dane said, thinking he wasn't that lucky. For some reason, he thought about Rebecca as he munched on his burger. She was interesting at the time, but her personality was quite sour.
 
Belle put the book aside. "You like the idea?" she raised both her brows, watching him quite curiously. "you would want more than one... at a time." she blinked. "How... does that even work.." she blinked not quite comprehending how that was possible.
 
Dane blushed, fearing he said something wrong. "Well...I would be like caring for multiple girlfriend...but the first girl usually gets the more or most attention..which would be you." Dane explained nervously. "As for the sex..I guess....it would be one at a time with you again most of the time."

"Look..if you don't feel comfortable..we can just drop the subject.."
 
Belle raised her brows at him. "No I'm curious." She watched him. Why was he explaining to her? She was merely asking how the sex worked with multiple of people. She munched on a fry happily.
 
"Well..as with the sex..with multiple girls. It will be more cuddling than the actual sex. The man will have his length inside one while the other girls caress his body. And usually two girls will caress each other meanwhile." Dane explained.
