Prize from the sea (dando20 and Annabella93)

Her arm slipped around his waist too as they walked, enjoying the sunny day.

"Very funny..." she stuck her tongue out at him. "Now.. maybe if you get starfish, they would be interesting..." she mused, glancing at the lake, hmm... more like a pond, but a part of her really wanted to try swmming in there, she watched the water shimmer against the rays, then turned her attention back to Dane. "So I finished that book..." she started. "perhaps it's time for a new collection?" she suggested as they walked. The books were her fastest way of learning about their world, it was what got her where she was today.

"Sure I'll get another collection later this week...so how about a walk around the park first?" Dane said, seeing that Belle was looking at the pond. "You would like to swim there don't you?" Dane whispered to Belle. He playfully rubbed her legs, feeling her shiver a bit.

Belle smiled softly giving him a nod about the books and the walk.

She shuddered when he rubbed her legs, was she that readable? She shrugged slightly, "is it that obvious?" she asked her eyes squinting as a flush of color swept over her cheeks. She wondered how well he could read her at this point.

"You know not much people don't go to the pond at this time of the year...you can swim around a little bit. I promise no one will see or notice you" Dane whispered, rubbing her waist so softly. He really wanted to see Orabelle swim around a natural habitat, as close to the sea as possible.

Orabelle shook her head and glanced around the park. "Too many people around.. No towels itc. Oils get messy." She glanced at his hand on her waist.

The heat that tickled her skin went deeper to warn up her blood. She smiled slightly at him. "But I'd love to see you swim there..." She almost purred leaning to him. "Would fun," she plopped down on the grass. "Is it empty here at night?"

Dane felt a bit sad that she turned the offer down, but he could understand Belle's nervousness. "Yes, no one is here at night. I just wanted to show you somewhere you can be close to natural waters...since you can't go home" Dane said, hoping he was not opening harsh wounds. He took her hand and the two continued walking around the park.

Belle thought about it. "Yes maybe..." She glanced back at the water then at Dane. "There won't be people around right?" She asked, she gaze flowing back to the water.
How deep is it? Will there be other animals inside? She was getting too excited at this point. She gave his hand a slight squeeze. "I sense unease Dane," she eyed him, she wasn't sure if it was from him or not, but it was so potent for the longest time today that she just couldn't help but ask. "Are you alright?"

"It's just...I wanted to make sure you enjoy land here...but at the same time...let you be in your element since you can't go back home." Dane said. "Seeing you swim so free...so majestic in the pool...especially during the full moon. I always wonder if I deserve such a beautiful treasure...I feel bad that you can't go home, but at the same time I never want to let you go, to have you be my precious mermaid forever...I'm sorry I rambled...I'm just so conflicted." Dane said, looking away.

Belle was touched at his rambling. It was... Cute?

She smiled slightly lifting his chin. "Heey I'm here I won't go anywhere," she assured. Not without him at least.

She smile again kissing the tip of his nose. "Conflicted"

Dane smiled kissing Orabelle's lips again. "Hehe...not anymore..." Dane said, kissing her neck and lips so softly. They were already half from where they started walking, not noticing anyone else except each other.

"Good to know your conflicts resolve easily." She admitted with a smile. Her body molded against his her arms wrapped around his neck holding him as they kissed .

A kid with a beach ball stood still, his head dodged to one side, his golden hair messy seemingly from a long day playing out. He watched the two make out, then approached Dane and pulled at his pants to get his attention.

The kid barely looked four. "Mister, why are you eating her?"
He glanced at belle as if she was some weirdo, who let someone, as the kid put it. 'Eat her,' amusement danced in her eyes as a flush of red stained her skin. "Ummm... "

"Dennis!!" A sound came from a distance. "Dennis!!" The kid looked up at the couple then ran off to his mother.

"Hehe wow...that was...awkward" Dane said blushing. "Maybe we should make out in a more secluded part of the park" Dane stated, seeing that Belle is blushing red, wanting very much to continue.

Dane was also glad that even when they have had sex many times without protection, Belle showed no signs of being pregnant. Maybe there WAS some other requirement to bare a child for mermaids than just sex. Though he doesn't need to know for now, he was glad he was still enjoying his time with Belle.

Dane saw a tree at the far border of the park where no one was looking. "How about there?...or do you want to continue walking with me?" Dane asked still holding her hand.

Belle chuckled slightly. "That was odd ," she mused and squeezed his hand. "Well I say we finish our round then we can sit there all we want. " she pointed out

"Hehe..Ok then" Dane said, as he continued walking around the block, enjoying the moment. He sighed, feeling like nothing can ruin this.

Meanwhile Rebecca was looking over the house, seeing if there was a hint to who this 'Orabelle' character is. All she found are errotic novels and lots of chocolate wrappers for some reason. She sighed, almost giving up till she saw something twinkle on the bedsheet. She saw what looks like confetti but in a closer look it was....fish scales?

Orabelle leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked, it was more of an instinctive motion rather than a planned one. "Wanna sit on the grass by the water?" she suggested, she could easily touch water with her hands and most of her, except her legs, only because they made her feel weird and breathless, otherwise, she was good with the element. And right now, she wanted to touch the water and get a feel of it.

--

Rebecca made a face, almost grossed out. But realization hit her harder than it should. Those silvery eyes, the complexion, the impeding naivety. That wasn't because the girl was air headed...

A slow smile curved her lips. Oh she'll have her wealthy lover back. It wasn't that he was just wealthy, he was good in bed, and generally drama-less and trouble-less, especially when she headed off clubbing, he hadn't nagged before when she was all over other guys, and she did need someone to sate her needs. All of them.

Step one, get rid of the mermaid. To do that, she would need to play a very lovely scene. Starting with planting doubts in Dane, which she had already begun, but to make it more than just hints at. She teleported out to the beach. Or she could just find a way to get the fishy back in the water and her kind would take care of her... But where's the fun in that? Rebecca was the manipulative kind, and she enjoyed every moment of playing out a plan, or a scene in her head. Which was why it was difficult for her to completely tie herself to one person, but it didn't matter at this point. She had bigger fish to fry -so to speak.

"Sure I would like that." Dane said, taking her to the grass. He sat her down near the pond, touching the water gently. It didn't seem so dirty and he could even see some ducks swimming on it.

"So...any ideas of any book you like?...or do you like the ones I've been given you?" Dane said. He wondered if he should give her more drama or romantic novels than just erotic.

Belle sat down on the side of the water, letting her hands dip in. A shudder went through her at the sensation of the cool water. Her eyes almost gleamed. She turned back to Dane then shrugged, "I like the ones you gave me.." she admitted, but more so because of the stories there, even though they were erotic, the romance and mystery were interesting.

"OK then...I'll be sure to give you some more on our way back home." Dane said. He then had a thought...would Belle like harem stories?...there were books he read that were about a guy unintentionally forming a harem and the story was well done.

He rubbed Belle's legs with his wet hand, seeing what reaction he will get. He always liked toying with Belle like this.

Her jeans provided protection against the wetness. But there was no denying the passion that glazed her silver eyes. She watched his hand rub over her calf. biting her lips slightly nervously she placed her hand over his moving along with him. "so I take it we're stopping at the book store?" she watched his face intently.

Since when was she this easily aroused? She didn't recall ever feeling this way back home. At all. Not even a little. His spicy scent only added to her passion, she leaned forward planting a quick kiss over his lips.

Rebecca watched them from across the pond, laying there with a book in hand, and she glanced at her book then up at them before her gaze fell back to her book. She wasn't really reading, the book just served as a good cover.

"Hehehe...sure there is a book series I think you might like. I won't spoil it for you though." Dane said getting up, ready to lead Belle back to the car. "Or do you want to stay here some more? Your call" Dane asked the mermaid.

Belle smiled slightly. "Then I'm looking forward to reading it." She beamed, a shudder went through her.

Seriously the odd nagging feeling today wouldn't stop. She shook it off and followed him to the car, "I'm kind of hungry." She admitted.

"After the book store, we can stop at Sonic. I'll get you a cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake. Your favorite I believe?" Dane smiled liking to treat his mermaid well. He was sure not to have her get food from outside too much so she won't get slowed down when swimming.

"And I should probably call a maid to clean the house tomorrow. It's been a while since I did so." Dane said. He does clean the house most of the time, but he only hired a maid about once a month just to make the place good as new when he felt like it. It was also a good thing his pool was chlorine-free and self cleaning.

Belle beamed. "A cheeseburger sounds perfect." She got into her seat.
Curiosity rang so loud in her head that she couldn't ignore it.

"You never told me why you lived away from your parents..." She trailed off then realized that may not have been the best approach. She winced at her own stupidity for that sentence.

"Ummm didn't mean to come out like that..." She began, "I'm just wondering why you're not on the same area or something... Or is it a human thing?"
