Which One's the Lie

It was a scientific wild-assed guess; I'd rather be lucky than good anyday (works on the golf course, works everywhere)!

Now, three more of mine, perhaps a little more challenging this time:

A. I flew out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii for two years;
B. Just before Election Day, 2000, my company sent me to New England to straighten out a subsidiary's safety program; and,
C. I have ridden the Twentieth Century Limited from New York to Chicago.

A. I was born and raised in the same city
B. The furthest I got in rank for any martial arts was a green belt with my stripe in Aikido
C. My best playable character is Nina Williams from the "Tekken" series
 
Nope, not "B". I'm going to leave this one "up" for a little while 'til someone else guesses wrong (or gets it right!), then post it in the other thread.

Now, for you: well, I looked up Nina Williams, and I figure you have to be able to find a better one! So my guess is "C".

Hey, you were correct!
1984 was probably the best book I have ever read.
My father gave me the copy he had in high school and it is one of my most cherished possessions.

I'm going to guess 'B' as your lie.

Swing and a miss I'm afraid.
I have a severe allergy to peanuts and because I haven't lived with my mother for four years she forgot that fact and whipped up some pasta with pesto while I was visiting.
After a lengthy trip to the hospital I walked out fine, but mum is still in pieces about it.
Could have happened to anyone really.

Hm, can't decide so I am going to go out on a limb and say 'C' is your lie?

I figured that if I made them all equally depressing then it would be harder to spot.
