I miss them not you (Glacier12 x mike85ad)

"Alright." She said with a nod, when he stood up she lied down "I'll either be here or in my room when you get back." She said "Unless I go to raid your fridge." She said jokingly with a smile.

He smiles. "Feel free." He says looking at her. He strokes her cheek and turns walking out. He gets into the car and drives off.

She yawned and turned her attention back to the T.V. she was about to close her eyes but she jumped to her feet and went upstairs ad got her phone, she had so many missed calls and unread texts, she deleted them all and went back down to the couch before flopping down again and stretching.

Hours pass and Mike finally gets home. He walks in holding a bag of McDonald's food. He looks around, looking for her. Not seeing her downstairs he puts the food on the kitchen counter and heads upstairs.

She had fallen asleep on the couch so she didn't hear him come in so she just kept on sleeping, her phone clutched tightly in her hand.

He comes back downstairs not seeing her upstairs. He walks into the living room and smiles seeing her on the couch. He runs his fingers through her hair and pulls the blanket off of the back of the couch and lays it over her. He walks into the kitchen and stands there, eating his food. He wasn't gonna wake her up. He had made all the arrangements, they had a good life insurance policy so the funeral was paid for and there was enough to put back for her college fund and they could split the rest.

She snuggled into the couch and held onto the blanket happily. She could smell the food and wanted to get up but she was comfortable so she didn't move.

He finishes his food and walks into the living room with the bag. He puts it down on the coffee table and runs his fingers through her hair. He smiles down at her slightly.

He smiles hearing her. He lifts her up into his arms and carries her upstairs. He lays her on the bed and heads back downstairs. He puts the food in the fridge and sits on the couch, watching tv.

She cuddled the blankets and pillows happily as she slept, not even opening her eyes when he had picked her up. To her the bed was a big cold empty space but with the blankets and pillows she stayed asleep.

Bored, he turns the tv off and heads upstairs. He takes his shoes off and lays down on the bed as well. He gently puts his arm around her and closes his eyes, falling asleep as well.

As soon as she felt his arm go around her she snuggled up to him, ditching the pillows she had been holding to be against him. The smile returned to her lips as she rested her head against his chest.

He lays there asleep with his sister in his arms. He was really comfortable. He wakes up a few hours later and opens his eyes. He smiles seeing she was still in his arms asleep. He watches her sleep. The funeral was in a couple days.

She woke up not long after he did, she stretched and groaned quietly before looking up at him with a small smile "Hey." She yawned, snuggled herself against him comfortably

"Hey." he says softly. "Have a good nap?" He asks softly, feeling her snuggle against him. He holds his arms around her and rubs her back. He knew they'd get close, they only had each other now.

She nodded happily "Did you?" She asked with a smile, she moved a bit and propped herself up onto her elbow, she wanted to ask him about the funeral but she didn't say anything.

He nods. "Yeah. I did. It was a very relaxing nap." He says with a little smile. "You got some McDonald's in the fridge." he says as he brings his hand up and rubs her side. "What do you want to do tonight?" He asks thinking they should do something to take their mind off of the tragedy.

"Awesome!" She said with a smile and shrugged, practically ignoring his hand "What is there we can do?" She asked curiously as she kept her eyes on his.

"Maybe go see a movie, or go out to eat for dinner." He says. "Or we can stay in and have a movie night." He says.

"In and a movie sounds perfect!" She said with a nod, was about to sit up but she didn't move out of his arms or away from his hand, getting used to it already.

He holds back a smile seeing her not moving. "What kind of movies do you like?" He asks not really knowing much about his little sister.

She tilted her head a bit to think "scary movies." She said with a smile, "What about yours?" She asked brightly, her own hand was resting against his chest but she didn't move her eyes from his.

"I do love a good scary movie." He smiles. "I just bought the remake of the Evil Dead if you want to watch it." He smiles gently rubbing her side. He loved the fact that she wasn't pushing him away, they were in close proximity to each other but it felt comfortable.

"Yeah that'd be cool!" She said excitedly, she had seen previews for it on TV but their mom wouldn't let her go see it, saying she would have nightmares and everything. Carly rolled her eyes at the memory and lied her head back down.
