The Hunter and his bounty (Findarato and Candira)

Alister prepared what he had to say as he walked towards his room. The sight of her chest seeming to be more natural led him to assume she wasn't wearing a bra and he had to remind himself why he was here. "Look, if you don't like the cell, fine. We can have you sleeping somewhere else more comfortably." Alister didn't have anywhere else, but he wasn't about to tell her. "Or make it more comfortable." He said, trying to make it seem like he wasn't lying or decieving her. "I just need to get in so I can change.. all my clothes are in here."

"Oh, really? Because I just saw storage rooms on my way here. Look, I'll get you your clothes, but it's pretty safe to say that I don't really trust you at this point. "Just tell me what you need." She yawned, stretching a little, oblivious to the kind of show she was giving him. It was clear that she wasn't going to let him in unless she absolutely had to, and she wasn't going to trust him until he could prove that he just wanted to coexist with her until they reached their destination.

What was this girl's problem? This was his ship, not her's. He wasn't about to let her go rummaging through his clothes. "We'll shape up the cell a bit or..." He sighed, "or you can stay in here. Just let me in. Please." Alister couldn't wait until he delivered this girl to the alliance, she would regret every decision in her life she ever made. "I just need to get a few things. I won't touch you. Promise."

His face looked like he was sincere, and he was, but that didn't stop him from feeling a little grudge towards her.

She seemed to think it over for a few minutes, reading his expression and body language. After a moment, she unlocked the door and let him in. "Alright." That said, Kelly yawned again and moved away from the door, drowsily walking toward the bed and climbing back in to snuggle with her little tiger. She closed her eyes and settled in, not taking up a lot of room on the bed, knowing that he would stay in the room rather than go to the prisoner's cell. He really could have avoided all of this trouble if he had been nicer to her to begin with.

Alister stared at her blankly, curious what she was doing. Did she think he was going to share his bed with her? He grumbled to himself as he moved to his closet, retrieving a plain white shirt and his sweat pants that he always wore to sleep. He glanced at her, seeing how she moved to give him room. Frowning, he sought to wish to annoy her as she did to him, and he sat down, beginning to undress deliberately so close to her as he pulled his shirt off and began to remove his pants.

Alister wasn't bothering her one little bit. It was his room, and he could do things as he liked. Besides...he was pretty hot. Seeing him there was actually pleasing. Still, it'd be a cold day in hell before he knew one day or another if he was affecting her. So she watched him occasionally, cuddling with her little tiger mostly, closing her eyes to show her intention to get some sleep. Her guard was still up, but she wasn't entirely sure that she had to worry much longer. Kelly rested in a nice bed--not as soft as her own, but still quite comfortable.

Much to his annoyance Kelly seemed un-phased by his undressing in front of her. He wasn't sure whether to be disappointed or angry. "Move over," he grumbled before sitting on the bed and eventually laying down, carefully keeping his back to her. He couldn't believe he was doing this... but for some reason, the bed seemed oddly inviting with Kelly in it. It was rare he had a female in it.

She smirked and moved a little going right back to the way she had been before he lay down. Kelly wasn't sure why he didn't just pick her up and toss her out, but she wasn't going to complain. She smiled and cuddled with her little tiger before drifting off to sleep. The nightmares that usually haunted her were somehow held at bay as she slept. Perhaps it was because she felt oddly safe with Alister. Ironically, he was the one person who could, and more than likely would, be the end of her. Still, having someone near was a nice change from the lonely nights she spent back on the planet they'd just left. Sure, she could have had her pick of any of the men there, but she risked simply hurting them.

Perhaps it was her need for affection and companionship that did it, or maybe it was because Alister was proving to be something of a blanket hog, but Kelly found herself snuggling up to him in her sleep, curled around him perfectly.

Alister found sleep more easily than he normally did. It was probably because of the difficult day he had experienced that left his mind only in questions without answers. He didn't as sleep as quickly as Kelly and when he began to feel sleep overtake him, Kelly's soft body pressed against him. He was going to push away, but he was far too tired and the touch of her was oddly relaxing, so he did not protest.

The next morning came quicker than he would have liked and his arms raised up, a ritual he did as he stretched his body out, pressing into Kelly without concern for her. The strength of his body made her push towards the wall which she was facing until he rose from his bed and went into the bathroom.

Kelly's eyes fluttered open as she felt him leave her side....er...the bed. She took a deep breath and yawned a little. She sat up and stretched a bit, sitting up drowsily. She wiped the sleep from her eyes and shook out her hair. She hardly noticed the disheveled state of her sleep clothes as she got up as well, letting Alister stay in the bathroom for the time being. She looked in her duffel bag for something to wear and then gently placed her little tiger inside the bag as well. She made the bed and set out her clothes on top of it.

She removed her shirt and folded it nicely before reaching for her bra and putting it on, making sure it was done up properly.

Alister brushed his teeth, staring at his image in the small mirror that his bathroom presented. His eyes were sleepy still and he had to rub at them, but to no avail as the sleepiness still remained. "Hm," he said to himself, stroking a hand through his ruffled, distorted hair.

He came out in the same clothes as before, except without his shirt. He stopped dead in his tracks as his eyes fell to Kelly's bra. "Take a shower," he said, forcing his eyes to lift to her own. "You look ridiculous," he said, trying to have some authority of the situation.

She raised an eyebrow as he came out and saw her in her bra. She was sure her hair was something of a mess, but she wasn't terribly phazed by him seeing her in just her bra and pajama shorts. She was, however, surprised that his first reaction was to tell her to take a shower. He told her she looked ridiculous. Well well, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She took a good look at him without a shirt and decided that she liked that particular look for him, but his hair wasn't much better. Chuckling she shook her head and got her clothes together and the small bag with her products.

"Ridiculous? That's a little harsh coming from someone who looks like that," she said, gesturing at him in general. "I will take the bathroom off your hands," she said slipping past him and into the tiled room, closing the door behind her. She wouldn't shower because she didn't need one. She smelled good aside from her breath, and her hair only need a a little bit of work.

"Good," he commented, watching her step inside. He rummaged through the drawers for his clothes, slipping on a different shirt and another pair of cargo pants. He liked all the pockets it had. Once he was done he faced the bathroom, wondering why the sound of water wasn't going off. "Are you going to take one or not?" He asked loudly through the door, even going to the point where his hand was on the knob and he was pulling on it. "I told you to take one," he said in a leveled tone.

Seeing as it was locked he grumbled in frustration. He had to deal with her today and make sure that this wasn't a vacation, but found it difficult to use force on her when she never fought back against him except by teasing him. He went to the head of the ship and made sure they were on their course still.

Kelly thought for a moment as she got her things ready and decided to just run through the shower quickly. In less than five minutes she was finished. When that was through, she made sure she smelled just as good, if not better than before. She did her hair and dusted on a light layer of make up before brushing her teeth, cleaning up the counter and getting dressed. When she was all through, the pretty bounty head stepped out of the bathroom, returned her little kit to her duffel bag, and walked toward what she assumed was the bridge. It was kind of a bummer to be all alone on the ship.

She found Alister making sure they were on course. She wore a dark tank top with lace on the neckline and a tight pair of jeans with her boots from last night. "Hi there."

Alister was sitting at his pilot seat, going through his controls before he looked forward, staring into the depths of space that seemed endless. His silence was interrupted by Kelly when she spoke from behind him. He glanced back to her, speaking in a toneless voice to not give away anything, "Hello."

He thought of her features, considering how attractive she was and how he hadn't thought once of using her for his own sexual pleasure. He was curious to see her damp hair, knowing she hadn't used the shower nor answered him when he questioned her about it. "I'll let you be the co-pilot today," he said, seeming to be loosened up for once and then patted the seat next to him almost playfully.

Rather than mercilessly teasing him, Kelly decided to lay off a little. After all, he was being nice. She took a seat next to him, where he was patting and smiled softly. Despite her teasing, she did appreciate his kind treatment of her. She leaned back in the chair and looked at all the controls, finding similar ones had been on her old ship, but some different ones were there as well. Delighted to be a part of this experience, she turned her head and looked at him. "To what do I owe this great honor?" she asked, tilting her head.

"You don't owe anyone anything," he said with a scoff. "I'm surprised you haven't tried to kill me yet, so I might as well treat you with some kindness." He said. Her statement was ironic in itself, here she was being flown to her demise and she didn't seem to mind. "You do realize where you're going, right?" He asked, turning to face her as he did not need to pay much attention to where the ship was going, as their journey would take a long time.

"All the more reason to try to enjoy the trip to the destination, don't you think?" she asked, looking back out at the stars. "I know exactly where I'm going, and I don't relish going there. But you know, you can only run so long before you start to get tired." She paused for a moment and then turned back to him. "Besides, you don't seem like such a bad guy to go with. There are a lot of people who would have been a lot less nice to me than you." She smiled and then put her hand on her stomach, hearing it growl. "And anyway, I think we both know I wouldn't try to kill you. Not when such a nice person could feed me," she said, smiling cutely.

Her words did hold some wisdom in it. The alliance usually got what they wanted no matter how long or how much effort it took. Alister recalled the information he had read about Kelly and then he realized he was probably not the only bounty hunter looking for her. "Alright.. what would you like to eat?" He said, standing up and heading towards the kitchen. He might as well be kind to her, otherwise she would be a nuisance as she had already proven to be capable of. After all, they had just shared the same bed together, if she wanted to kill him she would have done it by now. Alister still found it hard she was simply giving in and submitting to the Alliance. Maybe she didn't fear them.

It had taken a whole night to prove it, but it seemed that he finally realized that she wasn't out to kill him. Smiling, she stood and followed after him. "Well, that depends on what you've got. Can I help?" she asked, glad to be able to talk to him like a normal person. It was good to know that he trusted her at least a little, and that he was nice enough to feed her and actually ask what she would prefer. "I'm good with French Toast," she said, remembering the dish her mother had once taught her to make.

"Well.. for breakfast I basically just eat waffles. I usually give my prisoners cereal if that's what you want." Alister laughed at the situation, here she was, his captive and she was roaming around the ship with him as if she were a permanent residence. "I have some bread," he answered at the mention of french toast. "I prefer waffles though. You can make your french toast if you'd like. I'm still having waffles." He said, opening his small fridge and pulling out a container of frozen waffles before he strode past her, placing two of them in his toaster before he pointed at a cupboard, "The bread is in there."

She smiled at the idea and shook her head. "If I could just snag a few of those waffles I'll be okay. If you ever want to try the french toast you should let me know though. I'd be more than happy to make it for you." She smiled and decided to not make a big fuss. Besides, she didn't know what he had stocked in his ship. And it was clear he hadn't really planned on having company that would be sharing his food. The less strain she put on him the better.

Alister weighed her words in his head. "You'd make me french toast?" He asked in disbelief. His initial reaction was that she would try to poison him out of mere habit of being suspicious of such things until he reminded himself she could have killed him already. "Maybe tomorrow. Or for lunch." Alister always planned on feeding his captives, but not 'real' food. He had to keep them alive when they were wanted alive.

After a few minutes he pulled out the waffles and handed one to her on a plate. "Do you want butter or syrup?" He asked, already fetching said materials for himself and pouring them on his breakfast.

She smiled and chuckled a little at his reaction, sure that she knew what his first thoughts were. Kelly had to admit that she thought it was cute. "I would make you french toast. I just need all the ingredients." She happily accepted the plate and the waffle. She was glad that he seemed to be in kind of a good mood. When offered the condiments, Kelly merely took the syrup when it was given and poured it over her waffle, filling in the little squares.

"So do you like pancakes?" she asked, cutting into the waffley goodness with her fork. "Personally, I don't care for them. It's a texture thing. It's the same batter though," she said with a shrug.

"There's plenty of food here," he said. "I always keep myself stocked up on food." He handed her the syrup, watching her pour its contents over her waffle. "Maybe french toast for lunch then. Something else breakfast-like for dinner, otherwise it wouldn't feel right."

He sat down at a small table, it was a circular surface that seemed to be more of a stool than anything else. "Sit there," he said, pointing to the stool that was opposite of his own. It would be a fairly intimate meal, there was hardly any leg room so their legs and knees would be touching, but Alister seemed way easier to get along with than his previous self. "Pancakes for dinner maybe. I like them, I just like waffles more."
