The Hunter and his bounty (Findarato and Candira)

"You're sure you want to do this?" She asked, looking up at him. Instantly half of the dance floor stopped moving, the music still going. It was almost a shame to see someone so loyal go down in flames at the hand of his very own supposed allies. Then again, the Alliance itself was sort of a joke. Her eyes shone with interest as she watched him, the men in the place stiff and ready to take a beating for her. "You know, you really ought to be more careful about the way you handle people. Never know when you might draw attention in the wrong way."

Even if he did want her to go, there was no reason for him to be such a dick about it. And besides, he was just signing his own death warrant. She was doing him a favor by resisting even this long.

Alister stared around him. It was almost as if the music had turned off. "I'm sure," he mumbled stubbornly, loosening his grip on her wrist before slowly letting hand slide into her own, taking her by the hand as his fingers curled against her own, interlocking them. His purpose of this was to make it seemed like they were a couple even though anyone with half a brain knew what was going on. "Let's just go."

He stepped forward with her hand still in his own, experimentally to see if she would follow, and more importantly if anyone else would do anything about it.

She sighed, deciding to make sure things would be easier on everyone involved. She pretended to be surprised and then to melt at the sweetness of the awkward gesture. That seemed to relax the people in the bar significantly and a large number of them went back to dancing. There was still a persistent group, however, that had an idea of what was really happening. She pressed against his side and squeezed his hand, walking with him until they were outside again. She waved at her smoking buddies and then looked at Alister again as though she expected him to say or do something. So far, she was being quite cooperative. At the very least she hoped he would be a bit gentler in the future.

"Hold up there, missy! Where you goin' without sayin' goodnight?" one man called out.

Alister walked out with her slowly, keeping a firm but gentle hold on her hand, trying to make it seem they were going somewhere together intimate and not to his ship where he would return her half way across the galaxy to her fate. The group of men stepped forward, some of them standing up from sitting on railings of buildings to walk towards them for an explanation. Alister merely nodded his head at them in acknowledgment.

"Say you will be back later," Alister hissed at her between his lips in a hushed tone as the men would not hear despite their large distance away from them.

She laughed cheerfully and let go of his hand. "Oh, boys. I was so distracted I almost forgot. But don't worry. I'll come back tomorrow night. I think it's about time to turn in," she said chuckling as a few of them groaned. Having them all wrapped around her finger seemed highly improbable, but she'd done it somehow. When they appeared to be satisfied and she'd said goodnight, she smiled and turned back to him. "There's no need to get your panties in a twist, Alister. I'm being a good girl, aren't I? Just relax, would you? I'm not going to fight. The only thing I request is a chance to pack a small bag of clothes and shower stuff for the trip. No reason for us both to be uncomfortable."

Alister nodded in approval at her after they were a distance away from the men at how she departed from them. "Whatever," he grumbled in annoyance at her joke. This had been by far the easiest catch he ever had, but she was going along with it as if it were just a game and it bothered him. "There's a shower on the shi-" he said in protest, turning to look at her before he reconsidering. She was cooperating for the most part, and she seemed harmless, so there was no harm in waiting for a bit. "Fine. Don't pull a gun on me or I will kill you," he said simply, stopping. "Where are you staying?" He asked.

"Tell you what. Just come with me. I promise I won't pull a gun or a knife, or any other weapon on you. It won't take me very long." She smiled and pushed some hair behind her ear, looking up at him. She stayed still, hoping that he would believe her after all. "I'll just take us in my car and we can head to your ship as soon as I've got my stuff." Kelly grinned and thought it was a reasonable deal. "You can even drive if you want."

His eyes watched her, confused still that she seemed to be so harmless with such a large bounty on her head. "What are you? Are you royalty or something?" He blurted out, the look in his eyes showing hesitance more so than ever, and it was obviously that he was thoroughly confused what was going on, unable to connect the dots. "Let's go. I'll drive," he grumbled angrily and frustrated as he consented with her plan, walking with her and letting go of her hand as no one was near them.

She chuckled at his question about royalty and decided to keep her secret to herself. "Well, if your pals at the Alliance didn't want you to know, there's a chance that they may keep you alive if you really don't know who or what I am. So I shouldn't tell you. You'll have to figure that out on your own." That said, the cooperative bounty head handed him the keys to her respectable-but-not-flashy car and waited for him to unlock the doors so she could hop in on the passenger's side. If he really knew what her crime was, what she was capable of doing, he might look at her differently. But for the time being, this was enough.

He looked at her speculatively. If it had been a different day where Alister kept his wits about him, he would have abandoned the mission immediately. While he enjoyed the money his jobs earned, if he put himself at risk or thought it was a job he couldn't accomplish, he wouldn't do it. Having the alliance dispose of him as soon as he completed the job was disturbing but he still went on. "Very well," he said simply, taking the keys from her and getting inside. "Where do you live?" he asked.

She slid into her passenger's seat, glad that she kept her car clean and neat. She sat next to him and smiled when the radio came on, a soft song playing. "I appreciate your letting me do this. I'm a little sorry I made you jump through all those hoops. But only a little." She smirked and directed him to the small apartment that had been acting as her home for the past few months. Colorful paper lanterns adorned the plain white walls bathing the room in multi-colored light. A soft golden glow from a reading lamp on the table lit up the back of the apartment. The furniture was nice, but not too nice, and looked comfortable and neat. The place looked immaculate and the white carpet was practically spotless.

As she entered, Kelly slipped her shoes off and walked slowly, looking over her things fondly. There were precious few pictures on the wall, though it was unclear what the reason for that was. She took one picture that sat on her desk from a frame and slipped it into her back pocket and then turned down a hallway into her bedroom. A soft, comfy looking bed with a nice bedspread waited for her with a large closet and a nice dresser. She took a few different outfits with her and a stack of panties and bras. And then she picked up a pair of flip flops and a pair of tennis shoes, leaving the boots she wore tonight in the entry way. She also picked up a soft stuffed tiger with her, smiling as she put it in the bag. When she was finished, she grabbed her music player and then headed for the door.

"Alright, let's get going, Alister."

Kelly's words made him think, he was supposed to be in command here, not debating and negotiating with his captive. Normally by this time he would have them in the tiny cell of his ship. "Whatever," he said flatly, annoyed by his own action more than what she said to him or the little game she had played with him before finally consenting to being taken in.

Alister followed her, staying close but not too close, giving her some room to allow her to pack. He did keep his eyes on her however, as he was cautious for the most part. There was no telling when she could pull out a weapon on him, so he had to stay alert.

"Is that all? Alright, you lead the way," he said, leaning against a wall near her door frame as she walked towards him.

She took one last look at her place, sighed, and turned off the lights on a part of her life she was nearly sure she would never come back to. That said, she locked the door behind her and hid the key in the usual spot, just in case someone needed to get in. With Alister hot on her heels, she led him back to her car and tossed her duffel bag in the trunk when she was allowed. Again, she easily slid into the passenger's seat and waited for him.

"So where are we headed? To get to your ship, I mean."

Alister followed her closely, but far enough to give her some sense of comfort. He opened the car for the two of them, lifting up the trunk for her and closing it after she had stuffed her duffel bag inside.

"My ship is on the outskirts of the city," he answered, starting the car up and driving towards the edges of the city. "How long have you been on this planet?" He asked out of curiosity. He figured quite a while since she had a place and a car... though she wouldn't have them anymore shortly.

He drove off road, thankful her car had four wheel drive. Even so it was fairly bumpy, but it didn't take long before there was a grey, majestic ship was seen behind some trees. It wasn't particularly big, but it wasn't anything to mess with. Alister stopped the car and began to get out.

"Hm? You mean you don't know? I thought they would have given you that much information when you came for me." Frowning, she adjusted her position as they went over some unpleasant bumps. "I've been here for almost a year," she said. When they finally arrived at his ship, she was impressed at his fortune. After all, he was just a bounty hunter. The Alliance and he must have had stronger ties than she had anticipated. Then again, with friends like them, who needed enemies? She waited until he got out of the car before she followed suit and then got her bag from her car. "Alright then," she said standing next to him. "I guess this is it, huh? It's best not to dawdle."

Alister's doubts came back to him when she asked that he did not know. When he thought about it, the alliance gave him very few details. He had to push away the thought quickly or else he would back out. "It is best not to dawdle," he repeated after her. He did not like where this was going, she seemed too casual about being captured and he needed to inflict his authority over her. "Let's go," he said firmly as his hand reached out, holding on her arm and pulling her towards the ship. He reached into his person with his free hand, pulling out a device that Kelly heard click, and she saw the ship lowering a ramp before them.

He pulled her up the ramp, leading her with his hand still on her arm, his grip tight and almost painful. The ship's interior was much like its outside, grey and small. The hall ways were narrow, and Alister had to walk in front of her so they could both fit. "You'll be staying here," he said, letting go of her arm as he ushered her into a cell that was obviously one for prisoners.

"Ow," she said grimacing a little as he pulled her a bit too harshly for her liking. Still, she didn't put up much of a fight. When he shoved her toward the tiny uncomfortable looking cell, she set her bag down and spun to face him quickly, with the agility of the dancer she had proven herself to be. She punched his arm hard and stood perfectly still in front of her cell. Kelly did not take kindly to his new attitude. "I really wish you would knock it off. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that you're in charge when we're on your ship. This whole, macho "I'm in charge now" bit is getting really old really fast. I'll thank you not to rough me up, especially considering that I could have made this capture very difficult for you. The very least you can do is be nice, ya jerk."

Alister stared at her. Her punch was not as painful as she probably thought it was, and her words hurt worse. "I'm Alister Solaris," he said to him, frowning at her. "You're my captive, this isn't some sort of partnership going on here. You're going to your death more than likely and you act like this isn't even a big deal," he said, hissing at her between gritted, frustrated teeth. He was clearly flustered by her mysteriousness and the lack of information the alliance gave to him. "I don't have to deal with you, just bring you back." He said, pressing a button and before Kelly could react, a blue transparent wall separated the two of them.

"Psh. Whatever. Go ahead and get lost creep." That said, she turned away from him and picked up her bag, walking to the bed she'd been given. She sulked there, lying down as she took the little tiger from her bag and pet him fondly. She didn't care if he hung around, and she made it clear that his presence at this point was merely an annoyance. Hopefully he'd get the hint and leave her alone.

Alister was already turning to leave as she spoke, going to the cockpit of his ship where his pilot seat was. As Kelly began to toy with her tiger, she felt a rumble beneath her, the engine of the ship, and she felt pressure applying to her as the ship lifted into the air.

Alister sat at the pilot's seat, adjusting his controls as he hovered a few feet in the air with his ship, then hit on the accelerator and pulled up on his controls, starting to fly into the air towards the planet's orbit. He had one thing on his mind, and that was to get back to the alliance as fast as possible. Considering how useful he had been to them, he doubted they would back stab him just because he had returned Kelly for whatever she was.

Once Kelly was certain they were safe in the air, she smiled and pressed the paw of her little tiger friend. A small digital stylus appeared as a claw and she took it, fixing his little paw. She smiled and pulled out her music player and used the stylus to tap into her lock breaking program. She loved technology. Especially tech that was supposed to be used to help the alliance. Grinning, she made the blue wall that separated her from the rest of the ship disappear and picked up her bag and tiger and walked along the narrow corridor to find a more suitable place to stay. She smirked when she found what appeared to be Allister's quarters and slipped in there.

She set her bag down and easily arranged things so that nothing looked any different than it had when she boarded the ship. After a few moments she decided that his bed was much more comfortable than that of the prisoner's cell. So she changed the lock mechanism and password before locking herself in and making herself comfortable.

Alister heard the sounds of footsteps behind him and he glanced his head around to peer behind him in the corridors. He didn't see anything and when he turned his head, he had to swerve his ship more than he liked, as he wasn't paying attention and a stray meteor almost hit the ship. He sighed with relief, focusing on flying rather than what was going on in the ship. No doubt Kelly was making racket to protest staying in the cell, there was no possible way she could have escaped it, either.

Once Alister was out of the planet's orbit, he set his ship on a course to fly on its own. He needed to take a shower. First, he needed to get his things from his room. On the way he saw that the blue door was non-existent, and that Kelly was gone. "That little..." he said under his breath, breaking out in a run that only led him to move several feet before he saw Kelly snuggling up in his own bed, with a blue wall blocking his way. "What the fuck are you doing?!" He blurted out, glaring at her through the wall.

She smirked and chuckled when she saw him standing outside the blue wall that stayed in place between them. "What does it look like?" she asked, sitting up. "I'm relaxing in my room." She took some clothes out of her bag and then headed toward the bathroom in his cabin. "I think I need a shower." That said, she left him to play around with the door and try to get it open. Of course, he would take him quite some time to crack the code she'd set, but by then it wouldn't have mattered all that much. "Oh, I think the prisoner cell might be open." She smiled and then disappeared into his bathroom, using her products to get nice and clean.

When she was finished, she came back out in a pair of short shorts and a nice, soft tank top. She ignored what was happening at the door and combed her hair before slipping into his bed and snuggling with her little tiger.

Alister glared at her in anger, watching her helplessly as she moved into his bathroom. He grumbled to himself, fumbling with the panel and unable to crack it, he gave up. He justified himself in saying that it was just like the prison cell she was in, except more comfortable.

He took his shower in the cell, though it was nearly as comfortable as his own and it only had some of his things to keep his hygeine as opposed to all of his things in his room. Sighing to himself, he redressed in his original clothes as his clothes were in his room. He was calmer now, so he decided to go to his room, where he knocked on the door.

She had been sleeping in his bed when she woke up to the sound of the knock. She yawned and slipped out of the big bed, her body moved gracefully despite her sleepy disposition. Far more of her body was revealed to him now, and it was apparent that she wasn't wearing a bra under the tank top. Still, she didn't seem fazed. "Mmm, what is it?" she asked, yawning as she came to the "door."
