The boss is back (Nightstalker/cheerio)

He smiled into her eyes and pulled her close kissing her passionately again, darting eyes downwards to glance at his watch before speaking softly. "Think I should change shirt and tie for court or not my love."

He smiled into her eyes and slid his right hand around her waist as he walked casually towards the front door with her. "Ready to go knock them dead in court then."

"Oh yeah... then we can come home and have plenty of fun." She was smiling as she opened the door.

(OOC: we want to skip to the weekend or stay with the court?)

He laughed softly at her words and escorted her out to the car for the drive to the courthouse. Parking in the main area he glanced at the tall building and sighed softly before walking with her towards the door. "You find the room we are in, I shall organize some more coffee for us both."

(( Need something in this besides just sex))

(So we have court... yay)

She had smiled. "Work fast Ross, we're due soon." She had made her way to the reception, signed them both in before she moved to the courtroom, tying her long hair back out of her brown eyes, her attention fixed on her work as she read the files over again. She wanted them to be ready.

Ross moved briskly along the corridor finding the small vending machine before returning to the courtroom, his eyes taking in the space before them as he placed hers down near her. He was not going to say anything unless needed to, looking across he noticed the other party not present just as the judge entered. Taking a few short breaths he spoke barely above a whisper. "I'm so scared."

"Take it easy." Suzanne murmured. "I'll lead, just keep the notes tidy and be ready with facts incase the other side attempt to cut me down." She had paused to sip the coffee and spoke softly. "Just watch and learn Ross, we'll be fine."

Ross took a few more intakes of breath, his eyes roaming around the room surveying it all as the challenging legal team showed. His heart beat a little faster as the gavel struck the bench. Lump stuck in the back of throat as silence fell over the court room.

She had taken on the challenge the first presentation had shown and she had shot it down in flames. Every presentation was met with an equal amount of fire and display. After a while it had been her turn to present and she did it with equal amounts of flair and precision, smirking as she won the first break in the case.

Ross sat in awe, even the mock trials during law school had never gone this way. He had sat through many even real life ones as part of it so he knew it could still turn but he dutifully filed each report for her to read from. His eyes glancing towards the judge briefly as he sat there almost shaking at times.

Suzanne had smiled as the judge called for a break for the court, she glanced over at Ross then spoke softly. "You alright?"

Ross smiled back into her eyes and shook his head slightly, standing his words whispered in her ear. "Better now thank you, lets grab something to eat."

She had smiled and nodded. "Let's go and eat before someone falls over." She paused then added. "We'll need to be quick."

Ross smiled at her words and left the courtroom with her, his stomach growling softly as they entered the small cafeteria. His eyes looking over the menu before speaking. "Will let you order for us, we have time on our side."

His listened to her words and smiled as he glanced around the small cafe before speaking. "Going to sit down over there." He said and pointed to a table not far from the door.

She had smiled as she waited, soon carrying the food over to him and offering him a plate of pasta. "I figured being full might help."

Ross smiled softly into her eyes as he breathed in the delicious aromas from the pasta, taking a bite he glanced around the small cafeteria before speaking. "Smells and tastes good. "

"Yeah, lucky us." She smiled and ate a little, pausing to speak softly. "Be careful, it's still pretty hot." She had paused to take a drink of her iced coffee before nibbling a little more, clearly picking around the warmer parts.

He smiled at her words, his own drink helping to cool the food down as he glanced around the cafeteria. Soon he was almost finished and wiping his mouth he spoke. "Think you will finish them off this afternoon."

"I hope so." She spoke softly. "She really didn't deserve what they did to her." She sighed and straightened her jacket before standing and draining her drink. "Ready to go back?"
