The Journey West (Closed for Satine and myself)

Kenly smiled down at her, enjoying the sight of her open eyes and trying to keep his eyes straight and forward. "Yes it seems it's still a little cold outside." He said with a soft chuckle before he stood back up and then moved back out from the tent and headed over to the fire to make sure he did his best not to burn the food.
 
Iracebeth smiled up at him, rubbing her eyes gently to wipe away the crusts. She nodded her head as he said it was cold outside. Once he was out of the tent she stood up and began to get dressed once more. Putting her under layers on then putting on her clothes, leaving the armor for now she went out to join Kenly.
 
"I hope you slept well." Kenly told her as he rubbed his hands together and then parceled out some food for her. He had failed in his duty but the least he could do was make sure they had a proper meal before they tried to head out of the wicked forest. He couldn't help but look over her body however even as it was covered up in her clothes for the moment.
 
Iracebeth smiled softly, "Yes I slept fairly well...How about you?" She asked hoping he also had a decent nights rest. She took the food he had portioned out for her, "Thank you." Currently it was a little difficult to see Kenly in the same light after last nights events though it wasn't his fault, she couldn't wait to be rid of these woods.
 
He nodded and gave her a small smile. He wanted things to be okay between them, he would have given his money and his holdings to go back. But he could not, he just had to make sure they got out of the forest. He ate his rations and looked around to the woods.

"I still wish that I could take back what happened but I hoping one day you can trust me as you once did." He told her quietly and then gave her another smile before he started to finish up his meal. They would need to pack up the tent and then head out before any other problems arouse in the enchanted glade.
 
Iracebeth began to eat the meal Kenly prepared for them. She would try to just move on from what happened the previous evening, though it was hard, and the events that took place would be kept a secret till the right time. Iracebeth smiled at him softly "Kenly...it's alright it wasn't your fault...I'm sure I will." She spoke softly, gently. Then she worked to finish up her meal, she was sore from last night but she wasn't going to let that stop her.
 
Kenly nodded to her, glad to hear her answer before he started to gather up the rest of the gear and take down the tent. Turning back to her he made sure that the fire was out and that there would be little trace of their presence. He looked around as if making sure that nothing else was lingering around and waiting for them. It felt as if they were continually being watched as Kenly tossed his pack over his shoulders. Turning back he rest a hand on Iracebeth's shoulder as he prepared to leave the camp site.
 
Iracebeth smiled at him, then finished eating putting on the armor once more starting to help pack up. Once they were done, she smiled over at him, having a feeling of being watched. "Shall we head out? We shouldn't linger too much longer. Who knows what'll happen." She stated a little uneasy from before. Looking at his shoulder as he put his hand on her, she smiled.
 
Kenly looked over at Iracebeth and enjoyed her smile. He nodded and then the two settled off. It wasn't long till they began to see the edge of the forest, a clearing amongst the trees and Kenly began to feel excited. Then suddenly one of the trees seemed to change and a creature emerged. It looked to be humanoid though it was maid of bark and had eyes that were amber and glowing slightly.

"Leaving so soon my dear humans?" It asked as Kenly reached for his blade. "But we were having so much fun." The creature said and suddenly roots sprang up from the ground around both Kenly and Iracebeth, tangling around their feet and trying to restrict them. Kenly cursed at the creature and immediately started to try hacking away at the limbs.
 
Walking through the woods with Kenly once more wanting to finish their patrol and to get out of these woods. Iracebeth sighed with relief seeing the edge of the woods they were almost out. When a man made of bark and wood appeared, he had to be a spirit of some sort.

She watch it curiously her eyes grew wide as he spoke, She screamed slightly as the roots wrapped around her feet. Iracebeth had been startled. She began to struggle taking out her blade starting to hack at the roots to free them.
 
The roots continued climbing over Iracebeth, moving over her body and trying to get to her sword but that wasn't their only action. Some of the branches parted revealing long slender vine like arms of amber that moved over her body as she struggled and seemed to move faster as she managed to grab a hold of her sword. The same thing happened to Kenly though he managed to cut down one branch with his blade and started hacking away at the roots on his right leg as he fought. This creature had cast the spell on him and he wanted nothing more than to destroy it for good.
 
Iracebeth continued to struggle trying to free herself as the roots and vines quickly covered her. Iracebeth couldn't move her legs though she tried too. Iracebeth's sword slipped out of her hand getting tangled in the branches. She was panicked as she tried to get free, looking around. She stopped struggling maybe the roots would slow down.
 
The branches seemed to take her stop in motion as a submission to their will. The slimy amber tentacles sneaked out over her body, wrapping around her breasts even though they were still covered. Another set moved over her pants and started to rub against her cloth covered sex as more branches moved up to restrict her hands. Kenly was unfortunately unaware of this situation as he hammered away at the other branch on his leg, breaking through and then managing to slowly get his footing and preparing to charge the forest spirit.
 
Iracebeth felt the slimy amber tentacles snake around her body, feeling them wrap around her breasts. Unaware of the limbs going for her pants, until she felt them rubbing against her cloth covered womanhood. Iracebeth tried to struggle again but most of her body was entwined with the branches she was starting to look like a tree. The warrior finally broke free of his bounds rushed forward to meet the forest spirit. The tree man laughed and ducked and dodged and weaved around the blade that Kenly used. It's steel sheen flashed through the green and browns of the forest as Kenly tried to catch him in the head or his limbs and finish him.

The spell around Iracebeth never let up however and soon the amber tentacles snaked under her shirt and started to rub over her full breasts while the two at her pants started to wiggle harder. One continued to slide against her clothes while the other moved to slide inside of her the panties protecting her sex. The creature seemed to sense her arousal and it only strengthened it's resolved as they spread her legs wide for it's tentacles as they emitted a powerful pheromone that would make the female soldier even more aroused.

Kenly finally managed to land a hit on the creature, and then another. The forest spirit howled as sap ran from it's wounds and the warrior struck again. Anger burned through Kenly until finally he swept his sword forward and found the creature seemed to split apart into ten pieces. The branches and twigs collapsed and then suddenly the vines and branches around Iracebeth disappeared. Turning Kenly seemed to realize his partner's earlier predicament. Moving over to her he knelt to her seeing her heavy breathing and a strange smell coming off her body.

"Iracebeth are you alright?"
 
Iracebeth was frightened and aroused at the same time, she was left completely helpless tangled in the vines. As they continued to mess with and harass her. Her breathing heavy and out of rhythm. As her binds broke and disappeared she fell to the ground curling up. Her eyes showed shock and fear, she was ready to leave to woods.

She looked at him a moment, maybe this is why women aren't to go into the woods, or allowed into the army. "Yeah...yeah..I'm...fine." She spoke out of breath.
 
Kenly nodded to her and he moved and arm around her shoulder as he wanted to let her know he was close and wasn't going to leave her. The pheromones that had latched onto her body however continued to warm up, the seeds floating over her body, touching her sensitive nipples and even playfully drifting over her clit as Kenly guided her out into the clearing. The warrior didn't see the road immediately but he could see the sun and that was enough for direction. Moving forward he made that goal his main focus.

"I'm glad that's over with. We'll have to let the captain know when we get back that these woods are not quite as safe as they once were. Something is stirring the creatures of late. I hope we've seen the last of that one though." Kenly said as he slowly let his arms drop from around her.
 
Iracebeth cuddled into him as he wrapped his arm around her. Her breathing still heavy as she continued to warm up and be teased by the pheromones. Her body shaking as it continued to mess with her mind and feeling. She moved with him toward the opening following the sun. Iracebeth was weak in the knee's wanting to drop down.

"Yeah...Thank goodness....Yeah he..needs to...hear about..this.. I hope..so." She stated still breathing heavily whimpering a bit as it grew worse not wanting to give into it. When he left her go she fell to the ground.
 
Kenly smiled against her as he tried to calm her body but he could tell the attack had not exactly given her a great sense of calming. He was glad to see the warm light that awaited them. But it already felt warmer outside of the forest but he could still feel that his companion was not having the best of times. Gently he continued to hold her and he looked down at her gently and gave her another grin as he embraced her. "Come on we can go a little bit further just to make sure were nice and far away."
 
Iracebeth picked herself back up, even though she wanted to stay down. Her body wasn't functioning right, from the attack, the feelings growing as she went along. Iracebeth clung to Kenly for support as she tried to focus on getting out of the woods. See could see the light shining through the trees, knowing she needed to leave the woods. As he embraced her she smiled up at him. "Alright lets...go" She stated.
 
Kenly smiled at her and then he continued to move them along till they were clear of the forest. They were out amongst the hills now and back towards the road that they were supposed to be patrolling. The spell that had been cast on Iracebeth was not dampened however and seemed to only be growing but they were away from the forest and Kenly was glad for that.
 
Iracebeth was fighting off the spell that the spirit put on her even as it continued to grow. Nearly out of the forest her knees were buckling. Once they were out and could feel the warm sun on her skin, it was making matters worse as her body was heating up more. "Kenly..." She whispered softly, as she pressed her lips to his, moving closer to him.
 
Kenly looked at her when she whispered and then suddenly he found her lips against his. He almost resisted at first but then slowly moved his hands around her shoulders, feeling her body closing with his till her chest was mere inches away from him. they kissed underneath the morning sun and he felt warmth radiating off Iracebeth as he kissed her gently and moved his hands down slowly around her hips.
