He was even further shocked. Now she thought she was in trouble. Didn't she know by now he wouldn't hurt her? Apparently not, which made him a bit sad.

But he eventually snapped out of it and came over to his precious neko, though he still blushing a bit. "I'm sorry. I-I just didn't expect for you to kiss me. No one had ever kissed me like that before." he said to the girl who gave him his very first kiss. "Please, don't cry."

Alexis was surprised when he just acted calm towards her after the filthyness she had done. "But master! I stole your kiss! I'm sorry...but i have a crush on you, master. I know nekos aren't supposed to like humans and viceversa, but i like you a lot, master."

Once again, the poor inexperienced Master was stunned into silence, all the while a thousand some odd questions raced through his head. 'Since when?! Why!? What does she see in a loser like me?!' were just some of the many questions he had. To him, it was inconceivable that she liked him

Alexis was left wordless as he didn't speak nor did any moves. She just wagged her tail shyly. "Master...you don't like me? I can't blame you, master. Look at me, i'm an ugly and little neko. You must find girls that you like, and i must respect that decition."

"N-nn-no." Chris said, still trying to work his lips. "I'm still t-trying to figure out why you like me......" he said honestly and with a nervous blush as he turned away shyly. He found it a little odd that she liked him after just one day, but he heard anthros warm up extremely quick to kind people, and even faster if all they ever knew was cruelty. He was willing to bet she never knew kindness before him.

"And no, your not ugly. At all. You are VERY cute." he said as he complimented her, which made him turn red. "And, I don't want you to ever call yourself that again"

Alexis smiled at how her master complimented her like that, and she also loved how red and nervous he was. "Thanks, master. But like i said, you don't have to like me back, i just told you what i thought." She was also red, blushing as she rubbed her head to his arms, purring.

"So, you really like me?' he asked, feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside. No one had ever said they liked him before, not even as a friend. However, while it made him feel good inside that someone liked hi, it made him feel a bit bad that he didn't have the same feelings she had for him. Yet.

Alexis nodded sweetily and licked his cheek. "Yes, master. I love you! She purred and kissed his cheek. However, she didn't know she was in fact losing her time into someone who wasn't interested in her.

As she kissed his cheek and told him that she loved him, he once again froze up. But he was also feeling guilty that he didn't exactly feel the same way. It wasn't that he wasn't interested in her. He was. He just didn't know it. In fact, he didn't know how he felt about her to begin with. He was so confused, which only made him froze up even more so than before. But he had to snap out of it, as he knew she would feel as she did something wrong if he just stayed like that. But how would he tell her that!? He was bad with talking to people to begin with, especially girls. And he was even worse when it came to talking about his feelings, as no one ever really cared, so he never talked about them. But here was a cute neko who did care about him, so, what should he say!?

Luckily, he didn't have to make that decision yet as his mom called him downstairs. After telling Alexis to stay were she was and that he would be right back, he went downstairs were his mom blamed him once again for something he didn't do. Unlike most kids his age, his parents didn't divorce and were still living together. But since one or the other was gone doing something or another anyway, it still felt as if he was being shipped to one parent to the other, only he stayed in the same house and neither wanted him. They only kept him because they were to drunk after he was born to bring him to the orphanage, and they were both to lazy to ever had done it. Plus, he was free labor, though they had to feed him and keep him entrained, which they did by giving him a old ass computer with dail-up internet. Ten years ago. And that was the only thing they ever gave him for birthday or Christmas. Ever. And yet they expected him to give them something for their birthdays and Christmas and fathers and Mothers day. Yeah, his parents suck. Which was the reason he didn't give a damn if someone insulted them. He didn't care.

After an hour or so, he came back up to his nearly empty room and flopped down on the bed, holding his right eye as it was now black from 'talking back', when all he said was 'but'. He wasn't a expert, but he thought his parents should be seeing DCFS by now. But, in order for that to happen, someone would have to care.

Alexis was really sad that he hadn't answered her question, and she just found it insulting the way he just stood there, dull, until his mother called her. "No one loves me...i should just give up and let someone rape me if i want to lose my virginity..." Alexis thought sadly.

She was oblivious to the situation he was into downstairs, mostly because she had parents for only 8 years, and those were her happier years. There were nearly no problems, and that charmed her. However, when someone came and killed her dad and mom, she burst into tears and she was taken away. "Mommy and Daddy" were the words she would mostly whisper when on the cage in the Pet Shop. The owner would sometimes show her the video of her parents getting killed, and that's why she hated him the most.

Curled into a ball inside her cage, she didn't flinch when he returned to the room. She was not only upset, but saddened and frustrated.

He couldn't blame her for being frustrated with him. So was he. He was beyond frustrated with himself, but he didn't know how to tell her how he felt. But that was the real question, wasn't it? But he gave up and just told himself one day wasn't enough time to decided if he liked her or not. But it wasn't his fault. His heart was to scared to love, and he himself never experienced such pleasures. He knew what it felt like to be hated, so he figured it was a completely different feeling. But he was also scared to love or be loved, fear that she could find out that he wasn't as awesome as she thought he was. But of course, he was oblivious to her being frustrated.

But Chris knew silence wasn't going to help at all, so he decided to start up a conversation and maybe get to know his cute knew pet. "Hey, um, Alexis?" Chris asked, still holding his eye with a bag of ice as he looked at Alexis who was in her cage for some odd reason. "Um, can you tell me a little about yourself, if you don't mind/ I would like to get to know you...."

Alexis shook her head and cleaned her tears. "No...i do not wish to talk...not anymore..." she said with a broken voice and sighed. She didn't want to talk to him...and she didn't care how he felt. She just wanted to be treated like a pet now, nothing else. "I'm just your pet...your pet, and don't worry about me...beat me up if you want, rape me, spit me...i don't care.."

What did he do now?! He thought, feeling a little a bit more irritated with himself. Okay, so he wasn't the best at dealing with situations like this, but he had to try, right? It's not like he could make it any worse. On second thought, he knocked on wood just to be safe.

He got up from his bed and kneeled next to her and said "Um, I'm sorry. I'm not good with people. I don't know what I said or didn't say, but I'm sorry." He felt bad, but he didn't know what to say. But he didn't want to loose her caring spirit. He didn't want someone who tried to be friends with him to give up and not care anymore. It happened to him before, and he didn't want it to happen . Not when he so close to having some one who cared about him. "Um, I'm sorry, but, I would like to stay friends with you, I you don't mind....." he said assuming that she wanted to be friends with a guy like him, but he didn't blame her if she didn't. But he didn't want to go through that pain.

Alexis was devastated that he didn't feel the same, but she would just accept just so he wouldn't treat her bad. She just wanted to have a quiet master, someone who wouldn't beat her up.

"I guess we can...i think we can try and be friends....but right now i'm sleepy," she told him and just cuddled herself tightly. Curled into a small ball, she meowed softly. She was so thin and fragile...

Apparently, she got the message of what he wanted to say without him actually saying, which lifted a weight of his shoulders, but now he felt guilty. Earlier, she was energetic and happy and cute. Now she looked, hurt. Like she asked someone out and he said no. And he knew what that was like and it wasn't a nice feeling, and him knowing this made him feel worse. But he didn't regret his decision. He sill felt the same way he did when he made it. It was to soon to think of her like that.

When she said she wanted to nap, he let her. But he soon realized it didn't look too comfy in the small cage. SO when he was sure that she happily snoozing off, he picked her up ad put her under the covers before going down to do his chores.

Alexis happily slept calmly but didn't feel when her master picked her up and laid her under the warm covers, feeling better on the matress than to sleep on a small and cold steel cage. She was so sad, but atleast sleeping would help her forget about her mean master.

It was around 10:00 or so when he finally finished. He brought up a plate of fish fillet which he made himself. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. But she would find it delicious compared to the food she ate when at the shop, if you could call it that. He sat it down next to her before he went and took a shower.

Alexis woke up to the scent of fish in the room, so she just turned around and looked at the plate with fish steaks. They were delicious, and just laid on the bed as she nommed (cute act of slowly eating something in a really cute way, after all, she's a neko) them one by one.

Chris finished his rather quick shower and walked out in his PJs with a yawn, just in time to see her omn nom nom on the last of the fish fillet he made her. And man, it was a cute site! She seemed happy, just eating her fish, just like how she was happy just to serve him earlier. He fond himself liking it a lot when she was happy. It a wonderful site, seeing her like that. And so, he made a promise to himself right there that he would do his best to keep his little neko happy. But the only problem was that he wasn't very good at that. as so far he only made her sad.

He tore himself from the site as he didn't want to seem weird just staring at her, so he went over to his desk and worked on his homework a bit

Alexis heard her master walk into the ropm and just stop to stare at her. Being a cat, she had an excellent hearing and smell, and she surely enjoyed it. She finished nomming on her fish just in time to see her master sit down by the desk. She jumped from the bed with a curious expression and sat next to him on the floor, licking her fishy paws. "What are you doing, master?"

"Um, just some homework." he said with a slight smile on his face, glad she wasn't sad any more. He hated it when she was sad. But also found her curoius face kinda cute too. She looked just as curious as, well, a cat. "Homework is work I took from school since they want me to pratice what I did at school." he explained to his curious neko as he continued on his work

Alexis sighed and wagged her tail and licked his hand as she giggled. "And you can't rest at home? That's some unnecesary jibber-jabber!" she said cutely and jumped on his lap, curling into a ball.

Yup, his sweet and fun neko was back. Along with her constant need to make him nervous and red like a tomato . But he still found it intoxicatinglly cute. But now he didn't know what to do and froze up. But for a minute, as he was starting to get used to this feeling and just smiled and said "Yeah, I know." before he nervously began to pet her behind the ears.

Alexis purred softly and twitched her esrs as he petted her. Nothing felt better than to be petted by your owner. "So tell me! What does that meanie teacher sent you to do? I know a thing or two! I was forced to learn by a teacher who homeschooled me in the pet shop. I made him come with twenty different ties as i shred them all!" she laughed, playing with his shirt by scratching it softly.

He smiled as Alexis played with his tee shirt. He continued to do his homework as he said with a laugh "Thanks Alexis, but I don't think you can help. It's alergaba. Plus, I don't need any help. I'm usually the guy who gets told to do other peoples homework." he said with a sigh as he finished his and began to do five other peoples homework, and since they waited to pile up a bunch on him at the last minute, it was a lot. But it went quicker because it was either easier or he already did it before on his own homework.

But soon he finished it up with a yawn a few hours later. It was late, and almost 2:00 am as he picked up his neko in his arms as she surely asleep by now. He than put her under the covers in his small twin next him as he tried to sleep.
