Just then his sister came in the kitchen, and ignoring Ashe for the moment went right over to Mileena and said "Hi, you really look nice", she pulled her over to the table wanting to chat. Not having a sister, she was anxious to be Mileena's friend.
 
Mileena was taken back a moment looked to as she sat down at the table with his sister "thank you and thank you for the clothes they are really nice."

Aurora stood close to Ashe as the girls talked "how is she doing, she seems less hostile and just more afraid than anything"
 
That's mostly it. She has never really had a warm family relationship. In her clan the women were more or less breeding stock, and it did a lot of damage. You scared her a bit the first time she met you, and has left her wary, but it will heal. By the way, she is having fun with cooking. She's using Aunt Elizabeth's old cookbook and liking it. She really is pretty good at it."
 
"It makes me sick how other clans treat each other. It was something I never wanted for you, thats is why I ran when you were little." she drew a deep breath. "she will come around i know it. And i can see you love her, and that will help greatly"
 
I think my sister will be the biggest help with that. I don't think Mileena is at all afraid of her. Just look at them, Ashe whispered. He went over and snagged a cookie even though the coffee wasn't yet ready. "Your going to make me fat with these" he said smiling broadly at her."They are soooo good!"
 
"Ahh but you made them! Ask my mother how good I wasn't at following a recipe! Besides , its your cookbook now."
 
Aurora poured cups of coffee and past them out, she then looked to her son "you know if you wanted to learn to cook better I would be happy to help you learn. "
 
"thanks for the offer mom! but I have a fine cook for a mate, I doubt I'll ever be hungry enough to cook for my self, besides, I can always come over here, if Mileena is busy. "He was teasing both women, and he knew that the most likely cause of Mileena being unable to cook was pregnancy, and a new baby, and in that case, he also knew that wild horses would not keep his mother from helping out, though he mention none of this, not wanting to worry Mileena.
 
"And what if you get here and I am to busy to cook for you, then what will you do, or what if pour Mileena is sick how would you ever take care of her." Aurora teased right back
 
"I'd ask my baby sister!" he answered sticking his tongue out at his mother and laughing."
 
"Your bad sister is one day going to have a family of her own, so basically brother your screwed." Eliana laughs and sticks her tongue out at him.
 
"There is always PB and J" he retorted knowing as his mother did and MIleena seemed to, that he was a much better cook than he was admitting to, however, everyone seemed to be enjoying the game.
 
Eliana looked to Mileena now " I am so sorry Mileena looks like you will live on pb and j if you are ver sick or unable to cook."
 
He saw the smirk on Mileena's face as they kept the private joke they were sharing to themselves. No one else knew or would they ever, that PB and J was the first meal she had prepared for him. He leaned in and gave her a knowing and quite sensuous kiss, right under Eliana's nose, making Eliana blush furiously. "We'll just live on love then!" he said as he broke the kiss.
 
Eliana just shook her head at the kiss "eww it's bad enough I have out up with mom and dad and there kissing but now you too."
 
Seeing her reaction, he kissed Mileena again only with a bit more passion. It was double fun, kissing his mate and teasing his sister.
 
Mileena kissed him back passionately.

"Ok that's to much, I am going to head my room." Eliana left her coffee cup sitting on and left the love birds
 
"Maybe you two should go enjoy each other company" aurora suggested. "Besides your father has been busy with something should go check with him."

Mileena enjoyed the kiss very much but blushed a bit when she remembered his mother was still there. "Thank you for having us over." She said to aurora.

Anytime dear." Aurora smiled hoping some progress was made today to make Mileena feel more comfortable.
 
Thanks mom, Ashe said as he and mileena took their empty cooky plate and headed home
 
Mileena followed him out and held his hand. "I think they liked the cookies, to bad your father and brother did not get any perhaps we will have to make more sometime to being over"
 
Yes, I think we should. It had been a strange night at home for Ashe, since Mileena was seeming to feel better about the family he was grateful.
