Mine To Keep (Hat/Mafdet)

"Tell me, Talise..." he said, "Would you like to see something special near my town?" he asked, stroking her hair happily. It felt so soft in his hands, and she was so small in his arms.

She was indeed rather small in his arms, though to be expected as she was a feline and he was a dragon. Hearing his question, she was fully relaxed and comfortable against him as she thought about it. "Near your town? What is it, or is it something I will only know by seeing it?" This was more or less her way of saying yes.

The latter." he said, rising and pausing. Was it okay for him to change in front of her, now? It felt so strange. He looked at his travel clothing, then at her, then around the room. Oh dear. Why was he suddenly so bashful? She'd seen it before...

"Very well." She wasn't aware of the delima that he was suddenly having as she laid there, though she could felt him tense somewhat in indecision. Talise merely twitched an ear towards him before actually asking. "Is something wrong?"

"I, uh." he sighed. "Last time you, uh... saw me, you were a prisoner. Now it's... different." he stammered.

She sort of understood what it was that he wanted to do, making her smile a little bit. "I can just not look," she said as she finally moved off of him so that he could get up.

He chuckled, and started to change, expecting her to look away. He decided on a new outfit halfway through, baring himself for a good while before really getting dressed.

Look away she did, merely staring straight up so that she didn't have to move. But as he was indecisive on what to wear, she found herself glancing over at him without moving anything else. Soon as she realized this, she glanced back up away quickly.

And he was dressed again, in leather travel gear. "There we are." he said with a smile, picking up a hatchet. "Shall I get you something else? Or are you fine in that?"

When it was safe to look, she finally sat up and stretched her arms over her head, yawning once more as he was picking up a hatchet. "I am fine with this, it allows me to move around with ease and comfort," she answered him, giving a light smile as she finally stood up, straightening the lower wrap as it was halfway up her thighs and tightened the knots of the top.

He took her hand and lead her.
Out of the city, into the wilderness, he took her. The plants were wild and bright, the path worn. Eventually, they made their way into a cave, and he smiled, lighting his torch.
And the whole cave lit up, as the walls, the floors, were mirrors, bright and dancing light everywhere.

Talise followed him without complaint, as she was just too curious as she followed him through the city and out into the wilderness. Seeing the plants and the wildlife were breathtaking to see as well as made her ache a little yet again for home, though she ignored it as they were approaching a cave after what seemed like awhile. Once inside, he smiled as he lit a touch, which in the cave it seemed to respond by lighting up too. The feline looked around in amazement at all the mirrors, awed a bit. "Wow..." she murmured.

"It is beautiful." he said. "But it pales in comparison to you." he went on, pulling her a little closer to him. "I... Talise... Would you be upset if I said I wanted you?" he asked gently.

The amazement faded as the dragon turned to her, pulling her closer to him as he spoke. It rather caught her by surprise at the asking, her face burning gently unexpectedly. "I... erm... no I wouldn't be upset if you said that," she said after a few seconds to recover.
