Meeting at the Outdoor Market (Closed to Ryanmo97 and notexactlyaverage)

Gwen typed out the list of people that Taylor wanted to invite to the shower. They both laughed at Taylor's comment about inviting her mother. "Well, that's a nice selection of people," said Tamera. "So where do you want to have it? Here? the Deil? Somewhere else?"

"I have to say Taylor," said Gwen, "I love your deil... I have lunch from there ever day..."

"Me too," said Tamera, "Everyone who works at my clinic orders lunch from there..."

"Really?" Taylor asked, her eyes widening. "That's amazing, we've all worked so hard on it, it's always incredible for me when someone tells me they've been and they like it. I'd never even considered having it at the deli, it actually sounds like it would be lovely there. I can look at dates and see what would fit in well,"

"Well," said Gwen, "You have that brother of ours to thank... The day after he had lunch there the first day he told us about it and we've been hooked ever since..."

Ryan walked into the room, "My ears are burning.." he said as he brought the drinks in.

(Sincere apologies for the delay in posting, some things came up in real life so I had to take an emergency break from roleplaying. Again, my sincerest apologies.)

"Cross my heart, we weren't talking about you..." Taylor said, a childlike giggle escaping her lips. "Gwen was just telling me how you got them hooked on my deli..." she paused before pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Thank you for that, it means a lot that people know about us and tell other people..."

Turning back to face Tamera and Gwen, Taylor blushed, surprised that she'd kissed Ryan in front of them. She didn't mean to be overly affectionate, she just wanted to try and make Ryan understand how much she appreciated it.

(That's OK..)

Ryan kissed her back and walked out of the room. Gwen and Tamera smiled at how much their brother was in love with Taylor. Gwen looked at Taylor, "You don't have to be embarrassed," she said.

"Now, Food," said Tamera, "Since we are having it at the Deli we might as well just have the food from there."

Gwen nodded, "I think that just about does it. You let us know when is a good time and we'll take care of the rest. Have you and Ryan registered anywhere for gifts?"

"No, we haven't actually. I keep meaning to ask Ryan about it, but I always seem to forget about it. I'll make sure to talk to him about it later though," Taylor smiled at them, still slightly intimidated by the two sisters. "I think having food from the deli is a good idea, I'll just check what dates would be good when I go in tomorrow.."

"All right..." said Gwen, "I think we are all set." she packed up her things and her and Tamera stood.

They each gave Taylor a hug, "It's been Really good seeing you." said Tamera.

"You look great..." said Gwen, "I wished I looked half as good as you do what I had my first..."

Smiling at the two women, Taylor walked to the door with them. "It's been really lovely seeing you too, and thanks Gwen!" she said, waving her goodbyes.

Months later, Taylor was in the kitchen cooking dinner when suddenly she knew she had to get to the maternity ward. "Ryan!" she called out, her voice beginning to fill with panic. Seeing him appear in the kitchen doorway she held his gaze before speaking again. "My water just broke."

Ryan was in the living room watching the news when he heard Taylor call out. He rushed to the kitchen and saw her crouched over the island and looked up at him. She told him that her water just broke. "OK... OK..." he said, as he took her arm and they walked out of the kitchen. He made sure the stove and oven were turned off before they walked out. They knew that Taylor could go into labor any day so they had a bag packed for her and little Annabelle. Ryan picked up the bag as they walked out to the car, he smiled, "This is it..."

Attempting to smile back at Ryan, Taylor shook slightly with nerves. Trying to calm herself down, she rested her hands on her stomach, closed her eyes and took deep breaths as they headed to the hospital. "I can't believe it's finally happening..." she said, finally calming down and smiling again. "We're becoming a family..." she said, happy tears appearing in the corners of her eyes.

Ryan smiled and handed her his iPhone. "Call the doctor and tell her we are on our way." Ryan pulled out of the driveway and started to drive to the hospital. He was doing everything in his power to follow the speed limit. He wanted to just slam on the gas and get to the hospital.

Hands shaking, Taylor brought the phone to her ear after calling their doctor. After speaking into the iPhone for a few minutes she ended the call. Looking across at Ryan she smiled. "They said that they'll be ready for us when we get there and that we don't need to break the speed limit," she teased after noticing how quickly they were driving. Laughing softly she dropped the phone in her lap, excited and nervous for what was about to happen.
