It came as a surprise to Dante when Trinity told him that she actually believed him when he had told her that he was in fact a Daywalker. Of course, it was something that had come as both a shock and a surprise to him, and Dante had absolutely no idea as to what it really meant. He had no idea that the fact he was a Daywalker meant he was somehow related to the very first Daywalker. Dante didn’t know this, but the one who turned him had known this. It could even have been the reason that the vampire who had turned him had chosen to turn him in the first place. Unfortunately for Dante, he never learned of any of this. The vampire who turned him had not informed him of the fact that being a Daywalker was somewhere in his heritage. The vampire had been killed by another hunter before he had the chance to tell Dante any of this. All Dante knew was that he was a vampire who was able to go out in the daylight, and it was still something he had trouble getting his head around, especially when he thought so much about all of the other vampires who could only come out during the night. He had been turned during the night, so Dante really had no reason to believe in Daywalkers. The only place he had ever heard of Daywalkers was in the movies.
To Dante, it seemed as if Trinity knew a fair amount about vampires, so he was curious as to what else she might know. Now, he didn’t know whether she would tell him all that she knew. He was hoping that she would, but he just couldn’t be sure if she would or not. There again, he was going to have to ask her first, and he didn’t even know how that was going to go. Of course Dante did think he would ask her at some point, but then he also realised he would have to pick the right time too. He found it hard not to laugh as she had asked him if he was purposely trying to do things to piss her off. Dante wasn’t intentionally trying to piss her off, because he was sure she would have known it if he was. If he was pissing her off, then it was by mere coincidence that he was managing it. Dante was about to say something to her in response to what she had said to him, but then before he had the chance, she had tossed her quiver over her back, feigned a shot at him and bolted for the door.
Dante hadn’t really realised that she had feigned a shot, so he had attempted to dodge the feigned shot. It only irritated him further when he came to realise that she hadn’t fired an arrow off at him at all. Quickly shooting a glance over his shoulder, he saw her at the bedroom door, flinging it open. Suddenly, his eyes changed back to that crimson red colour they had been when he had been fighting her in the alleyway, and he turned on his heel and dashed after her. He was out of the door within a matter of seconds, and he was chasing her down the hallway. With his additional speed, it didn’t take him too long to catch her at all, and as he came up behind her, Dante leapt clear over her head and landed a few feet in front of her. He turned around to face her and as he did, his arm came out in front of him. Dante reached out and grabbed her shirt and lifted her off her feet before turning to the wall and slamming her up against the wall. He didn’t slam her against the wall hard, but at the same time, it wasn’t soft either. Looking up into her eyes, he narrowed his own eyes before growling at her. ”Look, I’m not purposely trying to piss you off, but you’re wasting no time at all in pissing me off.” He growled once more as he had said this to her. ”I try to be nice and civilized to you, but here you are throwing it right back in my face.” He pulled her off from against the wall and pulled her closer to him so that his face was only inches from her own, and even as he did this, her feet were still dangling off the ground. ”Don’t make me regret the decision not to kill you, or would you like me to be like the rest of those vampires out there?” He asked her in a curious tone.
