A second pair of geta were provided to him, Nick smiling as he felt like his outfit was complete. He slid them on, the feeling a bit foreign to him. He was so used to tennis shoes or low tops. He rarely wore flip flops or sandals, so this definitely would take getting used to. Even taking the first step felt weird. However, Nick loved their matching attire. They looked a lot more like a husband and wife. Although, this gave way to another thought since he was on the thought of matching attire. Nick began to wonder what Tama looked like in regular clothing like jeans and a t-shirt, or a cute skirt and blouse. Of course, with her tails, there would have to be some modification. The idea made him more curious as he would appear to just be staring at the fox beside him as they walked out. He quickly recovered and walked with her, chuckling to himself.
The air was cold and chilling to his exposed skin, but the cotton yukata did an excellent job of shielding him from the elements, another thing he was amazed and thankful for. Nick leaned over and kissed Tamamo's cheek softly, and while she wouldn't know that was his way of saying thank you again, it was. "Come on, Tama. I can't walk straight. We'll trip." Nick complained, though it was far from negative as he chuckled and laughed, an arm wrapped around her. Yet, they continued like this, and even with the awkward movement thanks to her tails, Nick loved the furriness of them, telling her to keep them that way. As she purred and enjoyed his company, Nick would often stop to gently pick a flower and offer it to her, or to stand with her as they observed the beauty of the forest around them. It was odd to Nick. He liked technology a lot, so he often joked he couldn't survive in the wilderness. But this? He felt so calm and peaceful out here, even if it was cold. If he were to spend his days with Tama like this, he had to admit that life would be awfully perfect...
Unfortunately for him, the young man did have his phone on him, tucked inside his yukata as it lacked pockets. However, being soaked from the dip in the river earlier, it would appear that the speaker wasn't working correctly. It vibrated in his yukata though, both of them no doubt probably hearing the gentle whirring of the small device. Nick sighed and patted his chest, annoyed with the call. He should probably pick it up. What if it was Yuki? Although, this was way too good a moment with Tama. He bit his lip, stuck between the choices, but he apparently didn't dwell on it long. In case, Tama would ask, Nick would just smile at her, shaking his head. "Probably just one of my friends. I'll just call them later." He told her, though he did pull it out. From there, he ignored the missed call message and powered of his phone, looking over to Tama and wanting to stir up some conversation.
"So, is this where you grew up and everything? Well, minus being out in the town with me, this is where you were too?" Nick looked around at the sight of nature, his face a mix of curiosity and awe. "Hm, did you have a lot of friends? What did you do for fun? Did you play pranks on other kitsune too? Did you..." The next thing Tama would hear would be a slew of questions all bombarding her again and again. Naturally curious, Nick wanted to learn more about Tama's personal life here in the forest. He was afraid to ask before since he felt it might've been intrusive, but now with their level of affection towards one another, he wanted to find out more about the woman he'd be spending the rest of his life with.
