"Excuse me ma'am.. but aren't you being a little rude..?" He asked, before sighing. "At any rate, yes, I was with him. No, he teleported away with the rest of my party. I'll be waiting here until they get here. I'm sorry for your inconvenience."

(Lios missed) Paul casts Extended Cat's Grace on self while stepping between Lios and Ber'nia. (Concentration 32)

Viviane stares a hole into Balmung. "What. Happened. Details." She demands, ignoring the being rude comment. She had been worse. (Intimidate 27)

(Intimidation attempt failed) "Why do you need to know, anyway? I'm sure he'll be here eventually.. At any rate, We'll be up in the our room." He keep an even tone, frustrated. "Besides, I'm not exactly well-versed in the specifics of magic."

"Look, his mother sent me to keep on eye on him. Some seers apparently saw some bad things could happen to him. Now who took him?"" Her pride the only thing stopping her from begging. Viviane had not protected him for over 2 years to lose Lios now!

Ber'nia sees Paul step infront of her and steps back. "Is there a way you can fix this?" She asks him.

"A Rabbit Hermaphrodite with tentacles teleported away with him as some form of contingency plan while she was dying. My friend is a druid and he and another rabbit-girl who cares for him deeply were also teleported. He'll be fine." Balmung replied. "We just have to wait for them, alright?"

"I told you all I got from it. I'm sorry..." He looked down, Reina softly hugging him.

"Hey.. Don't be so glum.. Better than no information at all, right?"

Ber'nia is torn between trying to help and staying out to let Paul do what ever he was about to do. She decides to wait and let the druid do his work, but is prepared to defend him incase she need.

(Prepared action to shield other on him if Leos manages to get through the stoneskin.)

"Did this Tentacled Rabbit say anything?" Viviane asks, fairly exasperated. This man hadn't mentioned if any spells were cast, what the rabbit was wearing, and so much more. It was annoying how little real detail he gave. An Imperial soldier would be happy with it, but when she said details, she meant _details_.

He closed his eyes and focused hard, straining to remember every single detail. "wore a hooded mantle over an odd, long sleeved leotard. A pair of palm gloves, handwear that is simply a piece of cloth between the fingers , have an circular, red gem on the back. Bracelets on her wrists covered up where her sleeves ended and the gloves began. It was all a really dark blue. She wore some kind of magic anklet I think, and a belt of large, red gems connected by cable. She had a Ruby Circlet on her forehead, a Ruby Brooch, and 12 Large, Black Tentacles protruding from her back. Her fur was Peach with White Blotches, and her eyes glow forest green.5'11", large chest. She didn't say a damn word, even when I slashed a few of the tentacles off.... That any help?"

"No... Wait, she said Ani Zot, and his choker collar thing glowed.."

"That collar started it all." (Spellcraft 28) After casting Extended Barkskin.

DM: The collar is a powerful cursed item, crafted by a secretive Cult that often deals in the Illegal Slave Trade. The process to make them is unknown, and only the highest level members seem to know. Their object of worship is also a mystery.

It is known that there are three command words for this collar though. One that makes the wearer Fanaticly loyal to the one who says the word, one that controls the wearer's level of arousal, and one that forces silence on the wearer. The wearer is prevented from hearing the command words for the collar. Using the collar (as Use Magic Device) is of unknown difficulty.

He nods, taking her to the scene of the fight with Reina.

Paul casts Dispel on the collar (26 check) to turn off the effect.

Viviane examines the carriage in particular, the area in general, with glowing blue eyes (Arcane Sight in effect.) She is desperate for any trace, including finding where any magical trails lead.

He nods silently, knowing he won't be of any help at this point.

DM: Lios' collar shuts down... and Lios falls unconcious.

Encounter end.

Viviane does detects a dim aura, right before it disappears. She cannot get an accurate reading. NOTE: Dispite the odd time lineup between the separated party, It has been 20 minutes since Balmung left the scene.
