Ashal would never trust Jasmine, it wasn't in her nature to be fair and that was incredibly obvious even after the short amount of time he had spent with her, hell it was obvious before he had been captured. She was simply a sickening person and he knew when it came down to it her external beauty was the only beauty she had at all. The fact that she didn't seem to think he could kill her was what annoyed him the most though, Ashal was a trained warrior and among every single tribe in their nation he was the absolute strongest combatant. The fact that he had been captured was entirely based on his one real weakness, his people. He could have fought and chances were he could have made a gap and escaped but if he had done that he would have had to leave his people behind to die and selfishly save himself. He wasn't going to do that and so he was surrounded by the superior numbers of Jasmine's men and brought to the camp where, whether she admitted it or not, Jasmine found him too intriguing to kill.
It was alright though, he was going to make her mad as well by simply speaking the truth and poking at her nearly taboo attraction to him. It was so obvious though and while she began to deny it he could tell by the things she had done and the way she looked at him. Now that didn't mean she was okay with the fact that she was attracted with him, it was obvious she did not but after her mentioning his race taunted her he understood there was something more than regular hatred. He didn't feel sorry for her though, true it could have been some horrible thing which had been done to her but it wasn't his peoples fault and her actions were covered using some random encounter as an excuse. The water in his face simply wet his hair a bit making it stick to him a bit and actually look a bit sexy, the male shaking his head a bit with a smirk, "I believe you are going to have to fall on your blade then Jasmine because like it or not you have some feelings for me. Unless Wythe's nickname is Ashal." He knew he had to address something else before she changed subject though and he leaned back against the pole, "Hell I will even admit I think you have a very nice body, incredible in fact but I have no real feelings for you, you just have physical beauty going for you."
He relaxed after that, not really caring if she decided to refuse it yet again. Regardless of that she seemed to be coming closer to him again, playing it off as a curiosity and nothing more, and one she couldn't figure out at that. Perhaps she would realize he was right, for the moment he would just let it sink in and see if she figured it out. She did do one thing that surprised him though, Jasmine put the glass of water she had filled, after throwing its previous contents in his face, and tried to get him to drink. It was most likely only to make sure he didn't die and her torment could continue and their game didn't end early but he accepted the drink, not stupid enough to refuse even a sip of the precious liquid, getting as much as he possibly could not knowing if she would pull it away before long.
