Mary had been leading the blind monk around for most of their time together, sight and her youthful energy playing a big part in that. However, suddenly the monk began leading Mary away from her destination of a particularly pigeon covered bench and towards a big huddle of people.
"Where are we going Mister Zato?" she had asked, although it seemed the monk wasn't listening to her, instead focused on listening to something fairly far off.
A few people had shifted out of the way of the monks hands as he felt his way to the edge of the crowd, which had abruptly failed to part before him.
The small girl heard a voice she recognised from within the crowd and as she looked up towards the monk he called out, showing he'd heard it too.
"Miss Vanessa's somewhere in that big crowd of people?" she thought aloud.
