By the time Evie brought Anya, Katrina & Constantine over to the command post, Sam & Callen pretty much had Tom calm. His mood was pretty much the same, but at least now, he was willing to listen. Anya began to speak of how the sleeper agents were trained and placed around America. She said that it was only to be used in case war ever broke out. When the cold war ended, no one expected the sleepers to ever be used. The Russian Government decided to just leave the sleepers live in the world that they knew. It was easier then trying to hunt them down and bring them all back to Russia. Anya showed the final bit of proof which left no doubt Joe Evans was a Russian sleeper. She then spoke of Dalchimsky and how he had been a former KGB agent. Anya said that Dalchimsky was never admitted into the FSB because he continued to believe in the old ways. " Dalchimsky was given a low level job within the Kremlin........No one could have guessed that he'd stumble upon this old project. " Anya said as she looked around at those around the table. Her made contact with Tom's several times. She could see a lot of mistrust in his eyes. Tom knew that there was no point in arguing over why this happened. The other thing that matter now was stopping it. Tom asked if the book of agents Anya had was the same as the one Dalchimsky had? Anya said no. She pointed out that Constantine kept track of the agents until the fall of the old Soviet Union. After that, Constantine didn't see any point in tracking those who wouldn't be used. Anya pointed out that no one in Moscow had ever seen the copy Constantine had. This meant no one knew that some agents had moved from where they had been placed. Anya then turned over the briefing too Constantine.
Constantine said the originally, only 5 sleeper agents had been placed in Los Angeles. This number however grew as people moved into the area. Constantine said that there were at least 22 sleepers living in the LA area. Dalchimsky would only know of the original 5, one of which he used already. That left four in his book. Tom asked if Constantine could make two lists. One showing the agents who moved into the area over the years and a second one which would show those known by Dalchimsky. Constantine quickly wrote out the two lists. Tom handed the longer list which Dalchimsky wouldn't know about to Callen. " Can you run down these people? " Tom asked which Callen answered yes. The NCIS team could handle those agents while the MCU went after Dalchimsky. Callen & his team left to handle their end. Tom asked if Constantine knew the mission of the sleeper agents? Constantine said he didn't who was assigned to what target. He however, did know the targets. Anya warned that Dalchimsky was a trained KGB agent. He wouldn't be easy to catch she said. Trained, or not, he needed to be stopped Tom added. Tom told Kim to go pick up James at the station. He gave her two names from the list they had. They would go after and pick up those people. Tom & Evie, along with Anya, Katrina & Constantine would go after the last two. On the list they had was Father Paul O'Malley. There was one troubling detail which no one taking part in this man hunt knew. The book Dalchimsky had not only listed the agents, but their targets as well. Years ago, someone had written the targets into the main book once held in Moscow.
