Evie spent much of the weekend on line researching as many cruise companies and cruise ships that she could find. She decided that some huge ship wasn't for them and I stead they found something a little smaller...a little more intimate. The website made it sound great... 386 passengers with 302 staff.... amenities of a grand resort.... charms of a stylish boutique hotel...world-class accommodations, shipboard conviviality and warm, individualized service, paired with the enhanced spaces and amenities of a larger ship.

They decided to spend a little more a get an outside suite which gave them plenty of space. The Silver Suite gave them a nice level of comfort and style.

They were going to fly out to Fort Lauderdake and stay in the Marriott before joining the ship. They would then sale back to Los Angeles via Cartagena, the Panama Canal, Puntarenas, Puerto Quetzal, Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, and Cabo San Lucas. The boat itself had plenty of amenities to keep then happy...bars and lounges, a library and a spa, boutiques and a gym. Tom was keen to spend some time in the casino; Evie figured she would be content topping up her tan on the pool deck. A stylish boat meant a stylish wardrobe though...so before they went, Evie and Kim and Alyssa spent some time downtown, putting together holiday clothes. That was then supplemented by the odd cocktail dress and gown from the supply Evie had been given about a year ago.
