Mistral seemingly ignored both men as he looked at the woman laying on the floor. She looked so...innocent. So unlike his queen and yet...he couldn't step over her to go after the boy who'd once been a brother, because he had loved the queen for himself. She had twisted him badly, twisted him with what she had known was a man's love for a woman, used it to her own needs, forced him into a corner and did things that he had never considered doing before, just for the chance that she would follow through with her promise to touch him, even if she never did. It had been the hope that he clung to, that she would someday give him what he wanted. had killed without truly regretting it, because he was missing the emotional support to understand just how badly he'd been screwed. Granted, he knew he should feel something, and if he really thought about killing Ixen, he mourned, but Xerzith had broken him.
"jaciv ui|ulph ti dout dask, malai. jaka step spical."Mistral said already stepping forward and crouching to pick up the unconscious woman, settling her head against his shoulder, looking down blankly as Leo gripped his arm, pulling him to a stop."What are you doing?" "Taking her in out of the rain."Mistral said, to confused and upset to even bother trying to control the pounding storm outside as he stepped into the living room, shaking his head. The grey blue tipped hair spraying water around him as he flipped his hair out of his face, laying the girl on the couch, ignoring the two men in the room with him. The only reason, the only sign that he was disturbed beyond being bothered about killing faylin was the rain pounding so hard against the window that it was threatening to shatter it.
(She's not your mother, moron. Now step back.)
