"Hold on, the spell I will use is called tripping the lines. It's used to view the past, and can only be used when there is a strong force guiding it." Then she found herself being pushed backwards, as though flying in reverse but trying to fly forward. Then all of a sudden she found herself standing in a field, a group of mud huts dotted the area around her, but to the north one hut stood alone, away from the others. "This is where I began, my home, I was once mortal a long, long time ago. I only lived with my mother and 7 sisters, there was no father, and the village had shuned us because of me." As though a great force were pulling her she found herself at the hut, the sound of a woman singing could be heard as well as the laughter of children. "Life was tough, but we were happy, and I had a gift similar to yours, the ability to listen, but also to see. I had no other power, but it helped guide me." Upon entering the house she found an attractive woman of midling age cooking at a small hearth. Several girls were clustered around her trying to help. Two children however stood in the back wrestling. "That is the eldest sister and myself, of my whole family she was the closest to me." Time sped up, and she saw images of the boy and the girl in the fields, first came a bird learning to fly, but falling and then at his desire a strong wind filled its wings and it flew, then came a point where a small child was being chased by wild dogs, and again at his desire the wind added speed to his flight. It was a simple life style, but as time started to speed up Sky could sense nothing but love and joy, and then heart ache. A scene appeared before her a small boy, only a year or two older than the one she left stood atop a hill, and first one then three, and then eight grave markers appeared in front of him. His tears never seeming to stop, and then a beautiful woman appeared next to him, wiped his tears, and many other children appeared next to him. "This is the first time I had ever seen the matron of the wind, she had protected me from the plague that consumed the whole village. She took me away and raised me from then to a few years later. Suddenly she felt another tug, and this time they were back at the castle, "that is enogh for now, go rest, and listen to the winds, and watch them carefully."
