"Sorry" he hugged her tightly "I was just worried about you so I rushed out." He took a deep breath and let go of her, knowing it was Rosie that needed help and not her. Sitting beside the old dog and rubbed her back slowly "poor girl, you use to love to run around this park..." he stopped himself, not wanting to upset Roxy anymore "cmon we'll take them home and then we'll go out for dinner or something alright? unless you wanna be with Rosie" He turned to look at his sister and then stood, gently he lifted the big dog up, being so massive Daniel couldn't actually lift the big dog off the ground, let alone carry her the 50 or so feet to the car, but with his arms helping to take alot of her weight off her aching legs she managed to shakily stand and he sort of helped her along quite awkwardly towards the car "make sure Chubbs doesn't run off and be open the back ok?" he called to Roxy, he wanted his sister to be happy, but now wasn't the time to really be worrying about her when Rosie needed help.

Roxanne watched as Daniel let go of her, although to her he seemed reluctant to, and moved to Rosie. Her eyes stayed on him as he took a seat on the ground beside the dog. His comment rather than upsetting her made him smile. "Remember when we were trying to leash train her, Danny?" She asked, the old Saint Bernard had been about half the weight she was now. So she weighed around one hundred and fifteen pounds. Really, it was amazing that a dog that weighed over two hundred pounds had lived to be this old. "She pulled both you and I everywhere until we got her trained." She said. "Dinner sounds nice, if Mom and Dad leave Chubbs will be there to watch Rosie." She said as Danny turned to look at her before standing. She watched for a moment as his hands were wrapped around Rosie's large frame, helping to keep some of her weight off of her sore legs. She then got up and nodded. "C'mon Chubbs!" She said to the Chow as she jogged to the car and he followed. As she got to the car she opened the back door, noticing that some of the dogs toys and a bag of treats were in the back seat. Once she got him into the car she opened the bag, gave him a treat and he laid down, contently eating it. She then leaned against the car, waiting for Daniel and Rosie to get close enough, she would then use the treats to see if they helped to motivate her to walk.

Daniel sort of waddled over top of Rosie, it was a strange site but clearly he loved the old dog enough to push is embaressment aside "Ya even as a puppy she was still heavier then either of us!" he smiled and soon Rosie, finding some strength in seeing the familiar car and her family around her, made her way to the car and up towards Roxy "of course she smells the treats!" he teased and smirked a little, trying to put on a strong face for Roxy, but he knew she probably wouldn't make it another year, of course it hurt him but he knew it would hit Roxy twice as hard, they just had to help the big dog live her life to the fullest for the time she had right? "alright maybe put one on the seat and she'll reach up to grab it ok? just make sure Chubbs doesn't grab it" he gently moved Rosie towards the open door, hoping she might just try and pull herself up without the treat, but the old dog just couldn't seem to lift her legs high enough, she kept trying to lift one paw up only to let it fall again.

Roxanne couldn't help but smile at the sight of Daniel helping Rosie to the car as it looked as if he was waddling over top of her. "Of course she does! What dog doesn't love treats?" She asked before laughing. Roxy then took a treat from the bag and fed it to the dog. She then watched as he gently moved Rosie to the door to the back seat that was standing wide open. She then sat a treat on the seat and fed one to Chubbs. "C'mon girly, I know you want it." She said to the old Saint Bernard, hoping it would help motivate her. She then looked at Danny and sighed. Then, she watched as Rosie put her two front paws on the seat, but seemed unable to climb in. "Danny, I think we'll have to help her the rest of the way in." She said, knowing the dog's hip dyspepsia coupled with the arthritis she had made it rather difficult to maneuver her back end. Roxy pet the dog's head, hoping she could find the strength to climb into the car. "You're such a good girl Rosie."

With Danny pressing up on her hind legs Rosie managed to lift her large body up onto the seat before collapsing "good girl" Danny stroked her wide head and smiled down at her "alright" he turned to Roxy, quickly he pulled her into a hug, letting his lips just graze hers before he quickly walked around to the drivers side door. Sitting in the seat he took a deep breath, was Roxy ok? she seemed upset a bit but that must have just been because of Rosie right? he sighed and shook his head, unsure what to think about his little sisters crazy emotions sometimes "so where do you wanna go?" he asked her as he put his seatbelt on, glancing back to make sure the two dogs were ok.

Roxanne was surprised when after Rosie managed to get up into the car with Daniel's help and he stroked her wide head before closing the door he then turned to her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug. When he then allowed his lips to graze against hers for a moment before letting her go and walking around to the drivers side door. Roxanne stood there for a moment, seeming dazed as she watched him walk around the car; she finally managed to bring herself to move as he opened the drivers side door and she opened the passenger side door, climbing into the car and closing the door behind her. She looked over at him as he sat in the drivers seat. As he took a deep breath Roxanne wandered if he was okay but when he spoke she pushed any thoughts to the back of her her mind before answering. "Let's just get the dogs home first. Then we can decide where to go." She said before putting her seat belt on.

When Daniel looked back at the dogs Rosie was laying down and Chubbs was laying next to her with his head gently resting on her back, as of he were trying to comfort his friend.

"sounds good!" Danny nodded and drove them out of the parking lot, he was glad Rosie seemed better now, she would lay down and sleep as soon as they got home more then likely, but she would be ok when she woke up, maybe a bit slow for a few days but otherwise ok. He drove them up to the house and parked so the back door was closer to the house. Walking around he opened the door and was surprised when Rosie dropped out, pulling herself out of the car determinedly "good girl Rosie" he grinned and Chubbs quickly followed his friend out, the two automatically walked towards the front door, Rosie wanting nothing more then to relax.

He went up to the door and opened it for them then turned back to see what his sister was up to, trying to think of where they could go and hoping there parent's wouldn't but them.

As Danny backed into the drive way so that Rosie wouldn't have too much of a walk to the door Roxanne looked over her shoulder at the dogs, seeing that the two were simply laying down. When the car was off Roxy got out, fully prepared that she might have to carry the old dog into the house. To her surprise when Daniel opened the back door Rosie climbed out herself and Chubbs jumped out behind her. Roxanne shook her head a smile on her face. "That girl never ceases to amaze me." She said more so to Daniel then to anyone else.

As Danny went up to the door she followed him, Chubbs and Rosie both looking back at her, not taking their eyes off of her until she was standing beside Daniel. As he opened the door she watched as the dogs went in, it made her smile the way Chubbs watched over Rosie. Rosie climbed up on the couch and Chubbs followed, both of them just laying there and relaxing. Roxanne leaned in and kissed Daniel on the cheek. "So, where would you like to go?" She asked softy, half of her certain he would object to any affection she showed him and really she couldn't blame him about being nervous about someone finding out. He had been right earlier, after all. She would be seen as the victim and would be allowed to go on with her life as normal while he would be labeled a monster and at the very least their parents would kick him out and forbid Roxanne from having contact with him.

He smiled at her, obviously he enjoyed being with her in a romantic way, even knowing the risks "we can go wherever you want, we can go to the mall and just get hamburgers or something, or we can go to a restaurant, a buffet? lots of options" He led her back to the car and sat on the hood, taking out his phone as it beeped to show he had a text "oh..." he seemed to deflate a little, but put the phone away and forced a smile "im up for anything really, so if you have somewhere you wanna go just say the word and off we go!"

He took a deep breath and stretched, his back was a little sore from helping Rosie but nothing to bad, he didn't want to mention that he also just receive a text from his ex, that was the last thing Roxxy needed to hear. He looked over at her and just found himself smiling "you know...I don't know how I kept myself from you all these years....I mean I guess I tried not to think about you in that way but now that its just all out there its hard to believe I didn't develop a crush on you or something sooner..." He teased her and smirked.

"I don't care where we go." She said with a shrug as he lead her back outside and to the car before sitting on the hood. Instead of jumping up and sitting beside him, though, she simply leaned against the car and looked foreword. It seemed something was on her mind. Whatever she was thinking about she pushed to the back of her mind and looked at him. From where she was standing she couldn't see the screen of his phone but she could tell that it wasn't something he wanted her to know about by the way he seemed to deflate a bit before putting the phone away and forcing a smile. "If it's your ex go ahead and text her back, I know you miss her..." Roxy said before moving from where she was leaning against the car so that she was standing up straight, somehow able to tell who it was by the way he reacted. "She can have a normal relationship with you anyway." She mumbled as she moved away from the car.

Roxanne moved so she was leaning against the house and watched as he took a deep breath and stretched. "Daniel, let me make one thing clear right now: I'm not a little girl you need to protect anymore, no matter what you decide I will be fine and I will survive. If you do decide this is what you really want, though, I want it to be because your heart wants this, not because you feel like you need to pretend for my sake." She said, her tone almost emotionless despite the hurt in her eyes. Clearly it was hard for her to be that cold with him and a struggle to get her words out. "I do love you and I will this way no matter what you choose but if you want her don't expect me to wait around." She added, not even reacting to his teasing before standing up straight and turning to go inside, half expecting and half hoping he would stop her.

He sighed and shook his head "I MISSED her....she had her chance and its past" he stated simply and turned to look where she had been but she had moved to rest against the house "Roxxy, again with this? you know how I feel and you know what I want..." he took 3 large strides and grabbed her as she walked away, pulling her out of sight of the front door and pressed her against the garage, not roughly but forcefully "I want you...." he whispered and pressed his lips to hers, gently cupping her cheek and pressing his body against hers, he held her close to him before finally breaking the kiss and glancing around, then smiling sheepishly "I'm over her...I can't help it if she is having second thoughts, but I'm not...." He took her hand and gently pulled her towards the car "c'mon were going to go to a restaurant."

As Roxanne made began to make her way to the door she could hear what Daniel was saying and she could also hear him getting off the hood of the car, to follow her, she assumed. She then heard three large steps behind her and then she could feel him grab her from behind by wrapping his hand around her arm. As he pulled her away from the sight of the front door Roxanne tried to struggle against him, though she knew there was no way he was letting go. As he pressed her against the garage forcefully Roxy looked up at him, into his eyes and as he spoke she could tell he meant every last word. Then, when he pressed his lips to her's Roxanne moved her hand to the back of his neck as he cupped her cheek; the feeling of his body pressed to her's fueling her passion for him. When their lips finally parted she watched him glance around before he smiled at her. "I'm sorry I'm so jealous, Danny." She apologized and as he took her hand and pulled her to the car gently, she followed him.
