Indian Summer ( wolvenrogue and Sweet Angel Jocelyn)

'Well Gramma said right away." Grey trusted his Gramma, and always did as she told him, especially whe it was something important, and this he considered very important. It was not just about his love, but also about his baby.

Grey looked up at her hearing disappointment in her voice. "What is the matter, my love he asked wit a sudden look of concern on his face. "Did I do something wrong?" As much as he loved her, women were still a mystery to him and he hadno idea what might be the matter. He had heard disappointment in her voice before though, and it worried him.

Cheyenne scowled and shook her head. "You don't trust me." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "I said that I was going to find the doctor today, after lunch, but you are looking already." She told him.

Grey put down the phone book, looking suddenly sorrowful. He looked down. "I'm sorry," he said," I was just trying to help. It's not that I don't trust you. I just love you and my baby so much. I wanted you to have the best care right away."

"No! that's not what I said. I'm sorry if it sounded that way. Please forgive me" He lifter her chin and looked her straight in the eye. "Please? I didn't mean to hurt you." he moved to sit next to her and started to wrap his arm around her.

Cheyenne looked up when he exclaimed 'no'. She looked at him and nodded. "Alright." She said with a sigh. "Be nice to me, though." She said softly, warning him. She laid her head on his shoulder and kissed his shoulder. "I'm crazy now with these hormones."

H e kissed her gently and then laying back in the sofa, behind her began to rub her back gently, massaging the tension from her body. "How does that feel?" he asked. "Any better" He continued to knead her muscles and help her to relax.

Cheyenne nodded and relaxed a bit more. "So did you find anything that looked interesting?" She asked softly. "Or, I mean, anyone that looked good? I'd prefer a woman. Young-ish." She told him, not that he'd be able to tell if the doctor was young-ish just from the phone book.

"I really didn't get a chance to look" he admitted picking up the book. "why don't we look together?" he suggested. he set the book in her lap and looked over at it with her. " I really don't know what to look for anyway ", he said. At that moment he was feeling more like a boy than a man. Suddenly the importance of what was happening started to sink in. It wouldn't be long before he was a father.

Cheyenne nodded as she took the book and adjusted herself so that she was sitting on his lap. Opening the book, the girl started to looking through the pages, seeing all the OB/GYNs and feeling suddenly overwhelmed. She didn't know that Grey was feeling every bit as much as her. "There are a lot." Even just female, there were a lot more than she would have liked.

"Do you have any idea who to choose? I'm lost," Grey admitted to her. " I haven't a clue. I wonder who we can ask?" he said.
Grey hugged her and looked over her shoulder at the bewildering number of choices.

"OK," he said " why don't I take you to the library. We can use a computer there." He took the phone book from her lap and set iton the couch. Then hugged her and waited to see if his idea interested her.

Robby put an arm around her as they left the house for the car. It felt good to support her, especially knowing that she was carrying his child. Though it didn't really even show yet, he stil felt the need to treat her like a delicate flower.

At the library, Cheyenne went through the different female doctors in the area. Eventually, she found the one that she thought would be best. She wrote down the name, number and address, then let Grey take her home. At home, she called and set up an appointment, got a prescription for pre-natal vitamins and finally relaxed. "There." She said softly.

Grey relax too. In a way knowing that Cheyenne was pregnant clarified their situation, and made decisions easier. At this point, even their paraents could have little objection to their being a couple, Though Grey fully expected them to be angry, he was pretty sure that at least they would not be forced into separation. It might be difficult in some ways, but they were committed now to one another, and the comming baby would at least cement the need for their continuing their relationship, regardless of their parents or others possible objetions.

After a while, Cheyenne began to move around the room. She was terribly unsure of what would happen next. Her parents would be so upset at her. She had just turned sixteen days before. It wasn't something that her parents would condone. And the father was family. She just wanted to hide out..

Gramma saw Cheyenne pacing, and patted the sofa next to her. "Sit down child. " she said. 'Don't worry too much about your father. Your mother was only 17 when your father had to come to me with the same news. Just make sure I'm in the room when you two tell him. It will be fine. I promise." her Gramma hugged her and smiled.

Cheyenne sighed. "Mama will just point out that things were different then." And Cheyenne really believed it. Her mother had just need to get out of Brazil, where she'd been poor and needed to get out. "I will.. Gramma." She said softly.

"How about helping me look for a job?" Grey suggested. "I'm going to need to work." we can go back to the library, and you can use the computer. Your much better at it than I am," he said to Cheyenne. "I will have bills to pay very soon. It would also be great if I could find a job with health insurance.
