She shivered so great this time that she she seemed to tremble as she sighed, "Just long enough to put our clothing not. Not long enough to keep it off for more of what you are doing." She turned and put her feet over the side of the cot, blanket still held to her chest but she glanced to the side to face him and smiled softly in his direction, "But I promise when there IS time, you can go back to what you were just doing." She rose up, giving him a momentary look at her bare behind before she picked up her dress from where it was lying and slipped it back on again.

He smiles enjoying the sight of her trembling as a reaction to his touches. He leans back as she moves to sit on the cot turning to face him. "Alright then. Angus is probably getting impatient again as it is." He laughs softly as he pauses in the act of getting up to watch her redress a soft smile forming on his face. He stands grabbing his pants and tugging them on. He glances towards the tent flap then moves to her pressing his lips to hers softly and for a brief moment before pulling back. "Just in case I forget to do it later."

She was in the middle of re-tightening the laces on her dress when she turned and found him there, his lip upon herself in a soft, quick, but very nice kiss. The sides of her lips curled into a little smile before she turned and started to evaluate the inside of the tent, "Well, how can we go about packing this all up? How do you usually transport it from place to place?"

"The army keeps a load of carts," cut in Angus's voice whom had welcomed himself back into the tent, seeing that he had given them enough time to fix themselves. "We would pack everything tight with rope and into each of our travel trunks. I got us some of the rope and there's the lad's trunk in the corner." He pat Lund on the back, leading him towards the door. "Help me get the rope for the tent while the lasses pack the inside of the tent into the trunk."

They were out the tent before Lund could say anything or protest and Nessa slipped into the tent in his place. The two women went about their job of folding and backing the linens and few small things Lund had kept. Lund had his tent already packed in the cart and had his own horse attached to it. It was right there outside. "So... I take it things went better last night after we parted ways?" Angus asked him with a smile.

Lund smiles as he notices the corners of her mouth turn up into a smile. He glances back at Angus as he grabs his sword belting it on slowly. He nods in agreement with using a cart from the army. "We can always buy it if they give us any sort of hassle about it."

He blinks at the sudden whirlwind of being escorted out of the tent. He glances back to catch last quick glimpse of Kiana before turning to Angus. "Things went fine with us last night. We had a few drinks and talked things over like two adults." He smiles as he remembers flashes from the night before. His head shakes trying to clear it as he begins to saddle his horse getting it ready for the journey. "I think the woman should ride in the wagon and we can ride along side with our own horses."

Angus nodded in agreement, "Nessa has told me she is able to drive a cart so Kiana and either ride with her in the front or in the back with the things, though I'm sure she'd likely spend most of the time wanting to girl talk with my Nessa." As they prepped all their things, it didn't go un-noticed by the men around them that two of their own were preparing to leave.

An hour later, the cart was ready with all their belongings and things were almost all ready to go. Kiana was just joining Nessa in the driving seat of the cart when three men on their own horses rode up to them. The one in the lead looking full of himself and his attire designated him as the leader of this army. "Lund... Angus... plan on going somewhere? And just when were you planning on telling me?"

Kiana and Nessa huddled together on the seat, wondering if there was about to be some kind of confrontation or not.

Lund spends the hour helping Angus pack the wagon checking to make sure everything is being packed up well. He props his sword up against the wagon well to keep it out of the way of his work. "The girls could use some time together Angus. Plus one of us can always be scouting ahead." He checks a single rope again as he notices Kiana and Nessa come out.

Lund turns seeing the commander come riding up. He reaches for his sword buckling it on slowly as he moves to give himself alittle room from Angus. "I planned on telling you on the way out of camp. Both Angus and I have served the time called upon us. Its our right to leave." He places his hand on the hilt of the sword leaning against the wagon on the side closest to Kiana wanting to keep herself. He glances over at Angus watching him.

Angus's hand was upon his sword as well, his eyes meeting Lund's for a moment and nodding his head slightly to Angus looked towards the men on their horses once more. The leader's eyes had for a moment found there way to Nessa and Kiana, smiling at them a moment before his attention returned to Lund, "You are a find fighter Lund, as are you Angus. I was hoping to presade you both to extending your service awhile longer. I can promise the rewards for doing so would be great and very worth your wild. You can't have much coin to start yourself off somewhere, especially with two women you likely spent a good amount of your coin on."

"Might be easier without the extra mouths to feed..." one of the other two men with the leader suggested, his own eyes on Kiana while the other had his eyes on Nessa. The leaders eyes moved back to Kiana as well.

Lund returns the nod as he moves forward abit more as he touches Kiana's leg patting it softly. "An extension...Im afraid I cant speak for Angus totally but we had both set our hearts on seeing home again. I have family waiting there for me and good friends to travel the long road with." He leans against the wagon once more trying to appear relaxed but he tenses up again seeing the looks that the men are giving both Nessa and Kiana.

He steps forward again patting a horse on its side. "I would like to ask that your men take your eyes off the women. I believe your problem lies with myself and Angus not them."

The leader's eyes narrowed slightly as they moved from Kiana to Lund. "It was only an offer to fill your purse up a little bit and lighten your travel load..." He turned up his chin and grunted a little. "But as always it's like talking to a stone wall with you Lund. Very well then. At least it's four less mouths that I will have to make sure are fed among my camp. Good travel I suppose." He kicked his horse and they trio left them. They did know there really was nothing to do to stop them from leaving and it was apparently not worth it to fight them for Kiana or Nessa so for now a fight was averted.

Kiana seemed to let out a long long held breath, as if she had been holding it since the men had arrived. "I thought for certain they would not let us leave..." she voice her fears aloud.

Lund lets out a slow breath as he turns away from them as they ride off. He glances at Angus laughing softly. "I thought the same Kiana for at least a brief moment." He reaches out with his hand touching her leg softly once more offering her a gentle smile. "Lets get on the road Angus before he decides to change his mind." He moves back to his horse jumping up on to it quickly. "Nessa do you think you can handle the horses at a clip for awhile?"

He stops next to the wagon taking Kiana's hand. "Dont worry to much darling. Angus and I could have handled them pretty easily. We...I at least was more worried about your safety."

Nessa held the reigns in his hand and smiled almost proudly, "Of course I can. I've been a working all my days. I can do much more then just sew I promise you." She nugged Kiana's arm a little, "And by the time we get where we are going I'll have her driving this cart just as good as me."

Kiana's attention thought was on Lund as she squeezes his hand back. "Thank you..." she told him before letting his hand go.

Angus came up to the other side of the cart, "I agree we get moving. The sooner we leave, the sooner we get there. We should reach the mountain pass in two days time, be through there in three days and find our way to your home land by weeks end."

Lund smiles at Kiana as she squeezes his hand back. His eyes remain on her for a moment before clearing his throat and glancing towards Angus. "Agreed. If we push we might get even further today." He nods to Nessa to start the horses moving as he spins his horse to glance in the direction the commander went. His hand automatically drops to his sword for a moment before he spins back and kicks his horse into action.

He rides up beside Angus trying to force himself to relax. "A part of me almost wishes that man had drawn on us." He shakes his head softly as he glances backwards once more flexing his hand slightly.

Angus glanced back as well, not seeing anything but they were still to close to the camp to truly be out of the danger. The commander could reappear any moment with more men even if he really wanted them to remain or if he really wanted what the pair had. He glanced then to the girls in the cart and frowned a little, "You wished to have the girls places in danger? You have a strange set of wishes lad. We can always turn around and walk right into a fight if you want one so badly lad."

He shakes his head quickly to Angus words. "No..I wouldnt put them into danger. That man is just a pompous ass and I wish he had drawn on me." He rubs his fingers through his hair. "Even then I would have hesitated I think. My first thoughts were on Kiana. They would do terrible things to her if he killed me Angus." He sighs as he takes his water skin drinking from it. "We should move as quickly as we can. Once we enter my family lands we should be abit more protected."

Angus signaled to Nessa that they were going to speed up the horses and she nodded in understanding, or agreement really. "We are still a long ways off from your lands so perhaps a hard ride today is a good idea. Perhaps we could reach the mountain pass by the end of tomorrow if we are lucky." He glanced over at the cart, "And perhaps you should ask Kiana to don her cloak. With the hood up. That head of her red hair is like a guiding light and a temptation to any red blooded man whom sees it..."

He glances backwards once more as he keeps riding along. Lund nods softly as he rides along kicking his horse to move abit faster. He glances a Kiana at Angus words nodding quickly as he rides up along side her leaning in towards her. "Kiana till we reach my family's lands it will be safer if you could wear you cloak with the hood up." He takes her hand giving it a soft squeeze. "Its for your protection so people we pass wont notice it."

She looked at him a bit confused then he mentioned 'it' at first, then as her hand reached up and she looked at a lock of her own hair, she understood his meaning. "Oh! Of course. Yes... let me get it." She climbed into the back of the cart and found her way to his trunk to get out her cloak. She was pulling it out and tying it around her neck when she looked up and caught sight of men mounting up within the camp behind them. "Lund!" she called to him, meaning to draw his attention to what she was seeing.

((Up to you if the commander sends men after them or not))

LUnd smiles softly as it dawns on Kiana what he means exactly. He drops his horse back slightly to ride next to her as she digs into his chest for her cloak. "Im sorry we have to do thi..." Lund spins in his saddle glancing at the camp. He utters few curses just loud enough for Kiana to hear. "Angus that fool man means to come after us." He turns back to Kiana motioning her back to her seat. "Get seated quickly darling."

He spins his horse back around loosening his sword. "Angus get that wagon moving now." He glances back towards the camp seeing the commander mount up with ten other men. He shakes his head frantically as he rides up beside the carts horses slapping the lead horse to get it moving faster. He then drops his horse back to Angus. "I guess this means I may get my fight any."

The commander comes riding out in the lead of the men. He spurs his own horse faster after the two men his mind set on 'liberating' Kiana from Lund. "Dont forget men the other woman you can share but the priestess is mine." He smiles as he begins nudging his group faster after the wagon.

Kiana moved swiftly to put her hood up as she moved back to the front seat of the cart once more. No sooner did she reach it that she had to grab onto the seat fast as the cart rapidly picked up speed, tossing the two women about a little as it took off. Angus rode a moment alongside the the cart giving Nessa instructs on going on ahead while they fought back the men coming up behind them. Kiana didn't get the chance to say anything to Lund before the distance between the cart and the men widened, at the same time the distance between the men and the enemy grew shorter. "They will never be able to fight off ten men on their own!" Kiana said to Nessa, fearful of what may happen. She felt guilty at the same time for she knew that some of this had to be because of her.

The first line of attackers came directly for Angus and Lund while the commander headed up the second line. Their intention to keep Lund and Angus busy while the rest went after the women in the cart.

Lund glances back at Kiana offering her a gentle smile as he draws his sword. "Angus I want the commander. You can kill any of the others you want." He spurs his horse on hard as he begins charging the first line of attackers. His sword comes around on one of the riders cutting them down. His horse rears back as he pulls it up slashing at another attacker. He yells at them in a wordless battle cry. He continues to fight taking a few small nicks unaware for the moment that the commander has lead a second group of men towards the wagon.

He spins his horse around having made quick work of the first few enemies when his eyes spot the commander riding hard for the wagon. He spurs his horse after them yelling for Angus to catch up to him.

Angus still had another two men to face off with so he was a few moments behind Lund.

Meanwhile, Kiana heard the horses coming up behind them and glanced back, alarmed to see the riders closing the gap. Nessa was doing her best to get them away, but Kiana knew something needed to be done. Looking at all the things in the back of the cart, she decided on a plan of action. Climbing into the back she started to work on one of the tents. They had two after all. It was hard with the cart ride not being smooth but she got the one tent to the end of the cart and held the rope in her hand. Then she waited. When the riders got close enough they would not be able to avoid it... she pulled the rope and the tent caught the wind as it blew off the back of the cart like a giant sheet hitting the riders and their horses head on, engulfing them.

Lund charges up towards the riders. He lets out a laugh as the tent hits the riders letting him catch them and slash two of them down before they realize he is there. He gasp softly as he gets cut by a third soldier who dies soon after. He whirls as he charges at the commander his feet coming out of his stirrups as he leaps on the man tackling him down from his horse.

Lund comes up his sword in his hand as he faces the man breathing heavily. "All youve done is earned yourself a painful death by doing this." He begins circling before charging in their swords clashing together as they begin what can only be called a dance as they fight.

Kiana watched helpless from the cart as Lund began his one on one battle with the commander. Both their forms grew smaller and smaller until she could not tell who was who any longer. She watched as Angus at last finished with his foes to help Lund. In that moment, she watched on man slash the other across the chest with his sword. If it had not been a death blow, it had to be a bad one never the less. She could watch no more and hid her face down in the cart for a few moments. By the time she looked up again, Nessa had directed the cart into the wooded area that Angus had told her to head for. They kept on moving at a pretty fast pace and Kiana was left to look back and wonder it Lund would be returning to her now or not.

Lund takes a few steps back glancing down at his chest from the cut. He coughs clearing dust from his throat as he charges in again changing stances mid-charge. He brings his sword upwards in a diagonal slash across the commanders chest returning the wound that he received. He then spins to the left bringing his sword across the mans neck seperating his head from the mans body. He whistles for his horse as he leans against it for a moment. He tries to hide his wound from Angus for a moment. "We have to catch the girls quickly."

Angus comes up along side him and takes the horses reigns to hold him steady for Lund to mount up, "You sure you can ride lad? You can't hide that from me and you won't be able to hide it from Kiana as well..." He looks back to make sure no one is following them yet before turning back, "I told the Nessa to ride the wagon towards the mountains until the horses can run no more then to abandon it and hide nearby. We might be able to reach them before that happens. Their trail should not be to hard to follow into the wood."
