Lily laughed slightly, "People will know it is not yours. When we have only been 4 months wed and a baby is born, will be obvious..." She didn't think there could possibly any way to not accept the full blow of her father's rage.

Gaisse pauses a moment as he stands and moves to begin pacing. "Then we will be married, then be gone from this home to the home we shall make ours. He cant be angry at you if you arent here for him to yell at." He moves back to her kneeling before Lily carefully. Taking her hand he presses the palm of it to his lips. "I have sent word to my steward to have the small manor prepared for us."

It would take swift planning and even swifter action to get it all done, but it was possible. It was very, very possible. "We will try it. We can wed tomorrow and be gone.... the day after..." It felt odd to her. She had prepared herself to leave her home all those months ago but then spent months wanting nothing but to return to it. And suddenly here she was again, unprepared once more to depart it. Yet in a way, it was for the best for her piece of mind. This place held to much of her past. Of the horror of it. It was time to at last write a new future.

Smiling softly he moves to stand offering his hands to her. Once she takes them he pulls her up into his strong embrace. "Thank you Lily for giving me a chance to still have a life with you." He leans in giving her one more kiss. "If we are to be wed tomorrow, I must go. You will need to prepare as will I." He brushes a loose strand of her hair back over one ear. "You are going to be a beautiful bride. And a very beautiful wife and mother."

"Don't go!" she says throwing her arms around him in a sudden and tight embrace. "I... I don't want you to leave. I can't be alone tonight. I know it's selfish to ask you to stay but I just... I can't be alone tonight." She couldn't be alone ever again. "We have already thrown tradition to hell so we might as well keep on breaking it."

Gaisse blinks softly as she throws her arms around him. He looks down at her for a moment, before wrapping his arms around her tightly. "I wont leave you Lily. Ill stay here with you I promise." He kisses the top of her head as he continues to just hold on to her tightly. "Just hold on as tightly as you wish." He swallows softly as he squeezes her tenderly.

And she did, straight through the night. She even fell asleep like that, right there sitting on the sofa with him. Comfort didn't matter as long as he kept her close to him. Coming the morning, she awoke to discover what had become of them in the night. Was he still there as he had promised he would be or was it all just a dream and she would find herself still trapped in a hellish prison?

Gaisse does indeed keep his word to Lily. His head is leaning against hers slightly awkward as he cradles her close. He is snoring slightly when she wakes. His own eyes open as he looks around feeling moving in his arms. Not saying anything he watches her for a few moments letting her wake fully before saying anything. "Good morning Lily."

She smiled slightly and gave a slight laugh as well as he tilted her head to look up at him, "Morning to you too." She paused as she looked out the window to see the morning light, "It's our wedding day...." she whispered lightly.

Gaisse nods softly as she tilts her head slightly. "You slept like a baby my dear." He offers her a gentle smile as he caresses her cheek tenderly. Leaning in to kiss her nose softly as he laughs softly. "It is indeed our wedding day. Then once we are wed you will make a proper man out of me." Sighing softly he shifts slightly as he hugs her tightly.

She pats at his shoulder softly yet firmly before moving away from his grasp to be able to sit up. She just sat there a moment before sighing and turning to look at him, "I suppose one of us should check upon the preparations for our wedding." She laughed slightly then added, "I'm sure Lady Kiana has everything arranged by now. She seems to be good like that."

Standing slowly he moves to wrap a blanket around her shoulders. "You should wait here while I go and check on things then. Ill return once I see how things are going." He smiles at her softly as he kisses her cheek once more. "Ill be back as soon as I can my love." Giving her one more look as he backs away from the sofa.

She nods, knowing it is what is for the best. They have to work on a plan to get her moved without being seen much. She sat waiting to be told the game plan.

----
Kiana, of course, had one. Lund had set out first thing at sun up to fetch the very priest that had married them, knowing he would keep their secret. The plan was for Gaisse to carry Lily from her rooms to the private family chapel. They could freight over her weakness or perhaps an injury she has suffered but the action would hide her condition if her clothing lay just right. He would carry her from the room, to the chapel, back again for the day. By the next morning a carriage would be ready to carry them away at dawn before anyone was the wiser. All that needed to be done was for the plan to be set into motion.

Once everything was prepared, Nessa and Gaisse went to retrieve Lily as they planned.

Once Gaisse has had a chance to get his own self straight and ready to go, he is off to meet with Kiana and Nessa getting is part of the plan nodding softly. "This will be easy." Walking back with Nessa he swallows nervously. "Will Lily be alright to travel once the wedding is over Lady Nessa?" His concern is obvious as they reach Lily's rooms. Pausing outside the door he hesitates as he glances at Nessa offering her a smile before entering the room. "Its time to move you to the chapel." Smiling softly he moves to pick her up. "Im afraid the injury you sustained wont allow you to walk just yet." He gives her a wink as he lifts her easily.

Nessa smiled, "As long as you take it slow and don't aggravate her... injured leg," she said the injury part loud enough for a passing maid to hear them talk of it. Word would not flood of Lady Lily's injured leg and hopefully it would cause attention to go to her legs and not her midsection between now and when they departed in the morning.

As they entered the room and Gaisse spoke of a her injury, Lily gave him a confused look even as he picked her up. Nessa came then to adjust the way that her dress lay, covering her belly perfectly before adding one little touch. She took a bandage and wrapped it around her ankle, making sure that the hem of her dress revealed the 'injury.' "All set..." Nessa told him.

Gaisse smiles as he nods holding Lily gently. "Its time for us to get married my dear." Letting Nessa lead the way, he follows after her cradling. He lets the smile vanish just alittle as they head through the halls letting any maid that passes clearly see her injury. "This is it my love." Once they are inside the small chapel he sets her on her feet lightly. "Its time for us to see the priest now." He places his hands on her cheeks smiling as he looks into her eyes.

The ceremony was swift and simple and only the little group of them were there to witness it but that didn't make it any less binding. Within the hour, Gaisse and Lily were finally man and wife. After that it was right back to Lily's rooms. Kiana had made sure the room would be set up while they were out of it for a small family meal right there. A long table had been moved in and the food laid out for them all for a small wedding celebration. Kiana just smiled when Lily and Gaisse found the plans she had put into place, "You might not have gotten the big wedding you had planned, but I didn't think you should be robbed of at least a LITTLE celebration."

Gaisse smiles when he sees the table set out before them. Setting Lily once more on her feet he turns to the woman. "Thank you for this Lady Kiana. You have made me....made us terribly happy." He moves to the table pulling out a chair for Lily to sit down in. "Come Lily let us enjoy our first meal together as a married couple." He laughs softly after saying it still finding himself just alittle stunned by the turn of events. Once she is seated he takes his own seat across from her.

Seeing him pull the chair out for this wife... Kiana and Nessa both stand there and wait for there husbands. When after a moment they had not sprung to action yet, Nessa cleared her throat. Then it was a contest for which husband would get to the chair first for his wife. Angus eyed Lund a moment before making a dash for Nessa's chair for her.

Lund is quick to move across the room throwing Angus a quick look. He slows just alittle to let Angus reach the chair first. Smiling softly he pulls out Kiana's chair looking back at her. Once she is seated he moves across the table to sit down. "It seems as though the chef has prepared a very good spread here." He smiles as he fills three glasses with wine and the other three with watered down wine passing each glass around to the right person.

Everyone takes there glass but before they can drink, Kiana clears her throat and holds up her glass for a toast. The others all do the same. "To Gaisse and Lily. It might have taken a bit longer then we all expected for this happy day to come, but nothing could possibly stop this love from being joined at last."

Gaisse smiles as he nods to the toast happily. Glancing around the table his eyes eventually come back to Lily. Keeping his eyes on her, he offers a tender smile meant just for her. Swallowing softly he takes another sip from his glass calming his nerves slightly.

----
Lund smiles at his own wife nodding as she gives the toast. "Heres to both of you. Lily and Gaisse, to years of happiness." He smiles as he watches Kiana his own love for her reflected in his eyes.

There was just nothing but love floating through the air in the room as Kiana rose the glass to her own lips to sip with a sly smile directed in her husband's direction from across the table. Even Nessa and Angus shared glances of love with one another. The whole meal passed calmly and casually as they spoke of the plans for Gaisse and Lily's travels to his land. It seemed that all their plans were, for once, going to go by without a hitch.

Lund smiles at Kiana seeing the sly smile that she directs his way. Giving a quick glance around he raises his own glass to his lips, but not before letting her see his lips form the word ropes. Clearing his throat softly he sets his glass down beginning to eat. "Dont either of you forget you are always welcome here. Visit us anytime you wish."

----
Gaisse nods softly as he reaches over for Lily's hand giving it a tender squeeze. "We will be sure to remember that. Im afraid we will be busy our first few months making the small manor a home we can both cherish."

"I doubt we could visit again before winter," Lily said with a sigh. "The timing would be off if I appeared here so large with child so soon after the wedding. In the spring though..." She would miss seeing her family for so long but anything less would ruin the secret they all kept now.

"Oh but think how lovely a spring visit will be!" Kiana chimed in with, trying to keep the mood light and happy. "And we can always visit you as well." She sipped her wine and glared a moment at her husband in regards to his little toying, silent words on his lips.
