She feels his passion but is having just a hint of the terrible, to little to late kind of feeling inside her. No amount of passionate kisses now could salvage the dark cloud that now shadowed morning's earlier delight. "Very well," was all she could muster up saying to him as the kiss ended and she turned her attention elsewhere for the time being.

Lund sighs softly as he touches her cheek tenderly. "I will see you at lunch my love. Have fun planning the dinner with my mother and sister." He smiles softly as he stands moving to kiss Sarah on the head tenderly. "And you little one keep an eye on your mother so she doesnt get into any trouble." Standing once more he turns heading for the door to seek out angus.

His affection towards her should be enough to lighten her mood and yet it was no where near enough. One thing could really get her down in record time and that was the topic of.... outside. The last time she had gone outside the walls of the manor, she had been kidnap and her husband thrown from a cliff in her defense. It was a traumatizing event. Was she being irrational? Of course, and she knew it, but she was also as stubborn as they came and this was no different. She was going to continue to be stubborn over something that was just forever the darkest memory of her whole life.

She couldn't really finish any more of her meal and the majority ended up going to waste as she took the babe with her to see Lily and stood by what she said she was going to do today.

Lund smiles as he spots Angus pulling her to the side. "I need a favor from you my friend. I plan on kidnapping Kiana out of the manor for a picnic. I need you to make sure that your guards dont stop us." He smiles deeper as he folds his arms over his chest. "She isnt wanting to go out willingly. So when I say kidnapping, I do mean it literally my friend." He smiles as he pats Angus on the shoulder softly. "Do you think you can help me with this?"

Angus looked at Lund like he had three head, "I think I can help you and my first bit of helping you...." he said before firmly smacking Lund upside the back of his head, "Are you mad? You mean to ease you wife back into the world she was kidnapped in by literally kidnapping her by force once more?" He shook his head and sighed, "Go ahead, try it. But don't tell you I did not warn you against it."

Lund blinks a couple of times when Angus slaps him on the bead of his head. "Angus I dont know of any other way to do this. She is being flat out stubborn about leaving the manor. If you know of any other way to help then please do share it?" He sighs softly as he grabs a passing maid giving her orders to prepare a basket for a meal outside. "I plan on making it alittle romantic if I can. I know it will scare her, but no matter how I approach her she digs her feet in further."

"I only suggest you go about it cautiously," Angus told him before putting his hands up in the air, "And that is all I will say about it. I don't wish to have your wife think I gave you any kind of ideas that she could later hold against me and there for have my wife hold against me as well."

Lund laughs softly as he as shakes his head. "Your getting to cautious on me Angus. Dont worry she wont know that you had anything to do with this I promise." He smiles as he gives the man another pat. "How are is everything else going for the wedding?" He glances down the hallway as he motions Angus to join him. "I take it things are going well with you and Nessa?"

"Things seem to be going well with the preparations." He glanced a bit from side to side and then leaned in closer, "Perhaps a little too well. I had anticipated some kind of incident with the one that Lily was previously involved with, yet there has not been any hint of him. I wonder if perhaps things will truly just... work out."

Lund pauses slightly as he turns towards his friend. "How much trouble do you think he will be if he shows up. The manor is locked down pretty well. And because of your training we have some of the best guards in the lands." He shrugs slightly as he straightens up smoothing his shirt out slowly. "Just make sure the guards are keeping their wits about them till after the wedding. I dont want anything to happen to my sister."

Angus sighed and dropped his voice, "Indeed they are trained by me... but so was the one that if a possible threat upon this happy event." Angus patted him reassuringly on the back at that time though, "Yet you are right, we have guards covering ever inch of the walls. It would take some kind of magician to get inside with such a high alert. Do not worry over it Lund. Go. Try your luck with your wife." He gave him a little wink.

He nods softly as he smiles softly. "I trust you Angus. You and I will be on our best foot till this wedding is over." He sighs softly as he turns to glance down the hallway once more. "I have to get my horse saddled and ready for the kidnapping. Want to make sure that the saddle will hold the both of us." He smiles as he gives Angus a pat on the back as he turns to head for the stables.

Angus shakes his head watching his friend go. This could end badly...

Meanwhile, Kiana found that there was not really as much work to be done for the wedding as she had hoped. It left her with one thing she did not want at the moment. Time she just needed to keep making sure she didn't have any and it would leave little opportunity for her husband to force her into something she was not ready for nor did she know when or if she would be ready.

Lund is soon down in the courtyard securing his saddle on his horse. He has given the order to leave the gates open, and the picnic basket is secured to his saddle. Catching the arm of a passing maid he ask her to tell Kiana to meet him in the courtyard for lunch. Once the maid is off on her way, he gets up into the saddle and gets out of sight to keep Kiana from seeing him as she enters the area. A soft smile plays across his face as he waits patiently.

Kiana simply could not understand why, of all the places possible, Lund called her down to have lunch with him in the courtyard. It didn't seem like a very romantic place. It didn't even seem like a very practical place to go about dining together. She was no fool and could tell even as she entered the courtyard that Lund had something up his sleeve. What it was though she was unsure. She was visibly cautious as she glanced about, trying to catch sight of him. When she did not see him, she crossed her arms and gave a pout. Oh he was up to something now for certain. She turned and started to head back towards the manor's entrance.

Lund has chosen his spot to hide well, as he waits for his wife. When she appears in the courtyard he smiles softly as he pats his horses neck. "Just a moment longer, then we can run for a bit." He smiles as he nudges his horse out towards Kiana as she starts to head back for the manor's entrance. He is quick to nudge the horse into a canter as he rides up beside her. Leaning down he gets one arm around her waist as he pulls her up and into the saddle. "Good afternoon my love." He is already turning the horse for the gates. "Its time for our picnic."

Since he came up along side her, so suddenly, Kiana did not notice him until she was already being lifted off the ground. Fear hit her before common sense could and she screamed out a blood curdling cry of panic. At once she started to wiggle and struggle to free herself from his hold on her. It wasn't until he spoke she looked long enough to realize it was her husband and not a real threat. "Why the hell do you think you are doing?!" she yelled as the remaining tears of her fear were just slipping down her face. "You put me down!"

Lund winces slightly as she lets out the scream of panic. Thanks to his orders the guards only glance to towards them, but do nothing to intervene with his plans. Using his strength he makes sure she is firmly in the saddle in front of him with a smile. "Dont panic so much my dear. Its just a small ride to a picnic spot that I have picked out for us." He leans in to kiss her on the cheek. His heels dig into the horse spurring it on to a slow gallop. "I have the basket already packed up and ready for us. Its just behind me on the saddle." His arms squeezes her waist tenderly as he continues to ride taking them further from the manor.

As she realizes they have left the walls and protection of the manor, a different kind of panic starts setting in. She shakes her head, "You KNEW I didn't have the time to go out today! Turn around Lund! I want to go back!" More then her head is shaking as she ends up clinging to him, "Please take me back...!"

He keeps his arms wrapped around her waist as he continues to ride. "If mother says anything just tell her that I kidnapped you. She will be angry at me not you." Squeezing her waist tightly he nudges his horse to go alittle faster. "There is nothing to fear out here my love. I am here to protect you from anything that might hurt you. Just hold on to me if you want."

And hold on she did. Tight as she buried her face into his shoulder and shock, mumbling over and over how she wanted to go back, please take her back. She didn't want to go for a picnic. Etc. Etc. She seemed genuinely frightened by just being outside the walls, even in his protection.

His arms stay around her waist holding on to her tightly as he slows his horse slightly. "Kiana look at me please." He kisses her forehead softly as he lets go of the reigns trying to comfort her. "You cant hide inside the manor forever love. I want to show you the world isnt all bad." His fingers bring her hand up to his face as he kisses the knuckles softly.

She shook her head, "The world is full of terrible things and people..." she whispered. "It always hurts me. It hurts us. Why do I want to risk more hurt? The world hold war, bandits, killers..." talking from a lot of past personal hurts.

Lund caresses her cheek tenderly. "The world also gave us each other, as well as our beautiful daughter who adores you Kiana." He slows the horse again for just a moment as he slips his fingers under her chin. "I promise this isnt going to hurt you love." He smiles as he continues to try to comfort her.

She is still pouting at him as she turns her face to bury it into his shirt once more, her hands clutching her to his shirt as she seemed to grumble a bit more. Not really words this time but more just sounds that were signs of her continued disapproval of the course of action he has taken.
