Lund smiles as she strokes his hair softly. "I have to admit that most of the night is fuzzy." He shivers softly as he closes his eyes for a moment. "Are my eyes that bad love?" He slips his hand into hers taking it and bringing it to his lips softly. "You are beautiful love. Please tell me I didnt do anything to bad last night?"

Kiana smiled a somewhat playful smile, "You certainly will never here me complain about what you did last night. Oh no, certainly not." She giggled lightly a moment before sighing, "I should see to the baby. She slept in the nursery last night you know. I didn't wish for her to wake in the night and disturb you in your.... fragile state."

Lund smiles softly as he opens his eyes hearing her giggle. "Well I will look forward to seeing our daughter. I'm sure that she had an alright night. What made you take her to the nursery?" He slips his hand into hers as he kisses her palm softly. "I'm sure my fragile state is going to be just fine." He sits up slowly moving to kiss her lips softly.

She leans into his lips, kissing him with a smile upon her own, though when she pulled back the look was more melancholy then happy. "I figured, it was time. I mean... the baby could not stay in our room forever. She has remained in our rooms longer then Nessa and Angus kept their son with them. And I mean.... now that we are.... active once more..." she said, a light blush on her cheeks, hint of embarrassment in her eyes. "Perhaps it is a bit selfish of a reason?"

Lund shakes his head as he caresses her cheek softly. "No love it isn't selfish. Sarah will have to lean to be on her own sooner or later. Plus we don't need her picking up on her mothers bad habits." His eyes twinkle as he teases her. "Why don't you go get her so she can join us for breakfast."

"MY bad habits?" she said before smacking him lightly upon the shoulder a moment before she climbed from the bed, "A private family meal this morning or shall I meet you in the hall with everyone?" she moved across the room to pick what to wear. Something causal like they were or something formal for his family.

He laughs as she smacks him across the shoulder. With his smile still in place he moves to start a bath running hoping to loosen himself up a little. "I figured we could eat in our rooms. Most of the family is still going to be recovering."

Nodding, she picks one of her more casual of dresses and slips it on. "I'll have a servant bring food up to us while I tend to Sarah and bring her back with me." She did not give him a kiss for the moment, she was after all not going to be gone for that long and he had his bath to tend to.

A half hour later, the servants arrived to lay out a meal for two on their table. One of them opened the door to their couples balcony to let the morning breeze in. It was a beautiful day. Right as they were finishing up, Kiana returned, a wide awake and well satisfied babe on her hip. "Look who had a good night in the nursery."

He smiles as she leaves watching her go for a moment before slipping into the water. He uses his time well taking a shower and shaving. This time though he leaves behind a goatee and the rest of his face is clean shave. As the servants enter he is sliding is shirt on sighing in happiness. Turning he smiles as he moves to greet kiana and Sarah. "There are my two beautiful women."

Sarah gave some of her little baby sounds in greeting to her father while Kiana was locked upon his face, a smile tugging at her lips, "You shaved...?" she asked as he eyed up this face, studying it before giving an approving nod, "It's charming. I approve." Feeling the breeze a moment, she took in a breath of the fresh air and turned to see the morning sun pouring in, "You opened the doors? I approve of that as well." Her eyes lightened up, "How about a little picnic on the balcony? We can lay down a blanket, a pillow for the baby."

He smiles as she approves if his shaving. "I thought perhaps the goatee would help me look older more sophisticated." Glancing towards the doors he nods softly. "A picnic would be nice. I'm sure Sarah would enjoy it." He smiles as he begins to spread a blanket over the balcony followed by a couple of plates of food. Leaving the pillow to Kiana he makes sure everything is ready before calling her out to join him.

She joins him, baby in one hand and a pillow in the other, smiling down at their little family meal. Placing the pillow, she gets Sarah settled before handing her a little toy doll to play with as she took a seat on the blanket beside her. This was the kind of life she had hoped to have with him. Moments like this that was just all about them.

Lund can't help, but smile as they join him on the balcony. He laughs a little seeing Sarah play with her doll. "How did she do in the nursery? I'm assuming she didn't cause any trouble for the maid on duty." He begins to eat slowly keeping an eye on his daughter. Glancing over the balcony he sighs. "This is our perfect life Kiana."

Kiana smiled as she leaned over to kiss Sarah on the forehead, "The maid said she slept like an angle... most of the night. Around the morning though when she decided she wished for her morning meal though was a different story." She looked at the baby and spoke directly to her, like she could understand, "You must learn little missy to be a good, polite girl."

He suppresses a soft smile as he watches the two of them. "She just knows what she wants darling." Smiling he leans over to take Sarah's hand playing with her softly. "She will get better as she grows, at least she will if she takes after you." Kissing Sarah's head softly he continues to eat looking out over the land. "I think we should go out love. You and I, to have a real picnic. Something romantic perhaps?" He turns winking at Kiana softly.

Kiana doesn't wink back. She doesn't even look up to meet his eyes at such a suggestion. In fact, her face almost seemed a bit paler then it had a moment before. She shakes her head lightly as she picks at her food, "And when are we suppose to find time for that? The wedding is in two days and there is still much to be done and your family to entertain. No, simply not the time for romping about outside."

Lund sighs softly as he reaches over for Kiana's hand. "Love, there isnt going to be much for us to do till the actual wedding. Im sure we can slip away even if it is just a few short hours." He lifts her hand softly kissing her palm tenderly. "We can put Sarah in the nursery for that time." He gives her hand a squeeze as he scoots abit closer to her.

He scoots closer while she in turn scoots back, tugging her hand gently yet firmly from his own. "You might not think there is much to be done but there is. Things..." she sort of stumbled a bit clearly looking for some kind of reason to get out of leaving the safety of the manor walls, "like... like the menu. Lily wanted me to be with her and your mother as we spoke on the menu got the feast. She knows that I'll one day be the lady of the keep and she is nice enough to hold my hand in learning the ways of a house. So... I need to do that." She nodded a few times, nervously as she turned her attention to the meal once more.

(Gonna take a lot more then that to get her out of the manor :p)

Lund frowns softly as she seems to grasp at whatever straws she can. "Kiana I'm sure they will excuse you for a few hours, to let us enjoy some time together." He reaches for her hand again as he lifts it to his lips. "I'll keep you safe and protected Kiana. Nothing will happen to you."

She frowns right back at him, "I don't wish to leave Lily when she might need me now. I DON'T wish to go out today. Can't be just, leave it at that?" Her eyes were almost pleading with him now to just let her have her way, yet a hint of a fear was still within them as well.

Lund grits his teeth together tightly as he looks into her eyes. "There's nothing out there that will hurt you Kiana." He leans in closer pressing his fingers to her cheek. Leaning in closer he presses his lips to hers tenderly. "You can't stay shut up in the maamor for the rest of your life."

"Lund," Kiana says, her voice rather low and very much starting to grow annoyed. It was very uncharismatic of her sweet nature as she glared at him, a very warning expression upon her face, "Enough. I don't wish to talk about going outside any more. Let's just enjoy the morning meal. End of discussion." Though it would be hard to enjoy anything with such tension hanging in the air around them.

His own eyes give off a flash of annoyance at the warning expression she gives him. He sets his plate down having eaten only half of it. "I think Im full now. I have a meeting with Angus, that I just remembered to discuss the security for the manor." He stands brushing a few crumbs off of his shirt. Leaning down he kisses her cheek softly as he moves back into their room. "Will you be free for lunch?" His sword is buckled on next as he continues to talk to her trying to push his annoyance down and away.

She can't help but hear that annoyance in his voice though as she kept her back to him, feeling a mix of emotions hitting her over how he was walking away from her when things seemed to get hard between them, giving her what felt like a formal kiss on her cheek in the process. "I can make myself available if you wish," she told him, unable to hid her momentary sorrow in her tone.

Nodding to himself slightly his mind is already racing ahead planning things. "Alright. Ill send a maid to you with a meeting place for lunch." He stretches himself out slightly as he turns to move towards her. Kneeling behind her his hand touches her neck softly. "Just make sure you leave Lily with someone please. I wish for us to have lunch privately just the two of us." He tilts her head up and kisses her passionately this time.
