De Antiqua Tenebrae (The Ancient Darkness) RP One on one

"I do love crushing others hopes and dreams!" Belail retorted back to her now clasping the dark crystal between his nails he laughed at Maeva's antics as she almost looked so innocent. "Now my love we just need to find Uriel and lure him out into the open. Tomorrow when you return to the Ventus castle try and see if you can leave. I will be visiting the city incognito and I need to find these Ventus people' weakness. I must find another way into their city to let in my legion of demons! I will pretend to take you hostage and threaten your life while you lead me through the castle to get my blade! My demon's should get Uriel's attention so that I may plunge this dark crystal into his chest and if I have any complications I can just behead him with my accursed Voro!" Belail then put the black stone in a jar on the shelf and turned pulling Maeva close to his robust body. He ran his sharp pointed claws through her hair and inhaling as he whiffed in her scent he whispered in her ear."It is getting late....would you accompany me in my bed chambers before the sun rises?" His hot breath steamed over her ear as his slick tongue grazed her neck. Belail couldn't understand what drew him to her but she was addicting and he enjoyed ever second she was near.

Abdiel became irate as he pointed his finger back at Brogan, "Watch what you are saying about her...you don't know her like I do! She would never do that to me!" He yelled out as Dara got in on the fight and telling Brogan to back off. Abdiel was ready to deck him in the face but Brogan started to walk away. He looked over at Dara still enraged by what he heard, "I don't care if he doesn't trust her it isn't his place to judge her she would do anything for us to keep anyone of her friends safe!" The tension finally gave when Moon started to growl at Badger and he couldn't help but laugh, "That is right Moon you tell him!"

Maeva looked up at him with a grin, “He’ll probably be foolish enough to visit her temple as soon as he recovers. As annoying as the place is to go inside we could probably trap him easily enough in there.” She watched where he put the rock then smirked as he pulled her close, loving the feel of his heat against her, she ran her tongue along his cheek as she wrapped her arms around his neck, whispering back, “I would like nothing more.” She’d had plenty of fuck buddies in the past, but they were always just to satisfy her needs and had never truly been enough for her, but Belail was so much more than that. He’d not only satisfied her every need sexually but she just wanted him in every way. Usually she sent her “partners” away as soon as she’d finished with them, but she just wanted to be near Belail even when they weren’t having sex, she wanted to feel his power and warmth near him and watch his pure evil in action. She smiled and pressed her full lips to his.

Brogan just scoffed and waved Abdiel’s comment off over his shoulder as he vanished around a corner.
Dara sighed, he knew how much Abdiel loved Amaya and felt very bad for him. He smiled up at Moon who then looked at him and then hugged Abdiel’s head comfortingly. Dara smirked then looked at the cougar-man, “I know Abdiel, but you do have to admit, it does seem suspicious. Look, I’m not judging," he added quickly holding his hands up, "and I’m not assuming she’s on either side. For all I know she could be trying to spy on them, but just be careful, Ab, I don’t want to see you get hurt.”

Belail let out a low growling moan in pleasure as he felt Maeva's warm tongue slid over his cheek and he pulled her near his groin. He had no idea that Lucis had a temple erected in her honor and this displeased him but he planned on doing something about it, "Lucis Auctorem has a temple? Where is it I want to desecrate it then burn it to the ground!" He snarled out as the pupils in his eyes came to a slit while he jutted his teeth out of his gaping mouth. He calmed a bit as he heard that Maeva would want nothing more then to lay in his bed and he pushed his lips back against hers as he received her kiss. Belail then lifted Maeva off the floor and began to carry her out of the spell room to his bed chambers. His hands were clasped under her knees as he purposely rubbed his gentiles over her privates in a toying manner. He knew that they had just gotten done fiddling around not to long ago but she was intoxicating and why hold back the urge. Every servant, guard and slave watched the two be explicit as he carried her past them. Bia hadn't left the palace just yet and to see Maeva in Belail's arms infuriated her all the more. Belail ignored Bia's fit as he made it deeper into the castle while he took his time to reach his bed, "I am still going to visit the city....I really do need to see it's inner workings but if Uriel is to be at this temple I will enjoy watching him stand in horror at it's destruction!"

"You know Moon if you squeeze my head anymore my eyeballs might pop out!" He laughed a little as he started to forget what Brogan said until Dara brought it up once more, "Why is everyone trying to verbally attack her....listen I know you all care for me but I am an adult and I can make my own decisions and I will go tomorrow and search for her and ask Amaya myself!" He paused a moment and quickly apologized to Dara, "Look I am sorry I shouldn't be yelling at you it is just that Brogan has got my blood boiling and when has Amaya ever gave us a reason not to trust her!"

Maeva shrugged, "The idiots still worship her, I'll take you to it tomorrow, but for tonight . . . " she moaned as she could feel his hard member rubbing against her and she wrapped her legs around his waist and continued to make out with him as he carried her to their bed chambers, only smirking as she heard Bia's fit. She smiled at him and replied, "Oooh, I can't wait to see the horror on the expressions on the faces of those stupid Ventus, that in itself would've made all the time I had to spend with them worth it," she said with a sultry smile, as she ran sharp fingernails down the side of his face, enough to scrape off skin and cause pain, but not enough to draw blood.

Moon released her grip a bit at Abdiel's comment, but laid her chin on his head and turned her attention to Dara, she'd always liked him.
Dara raised his hands innocently, "I'm just saying." He smiled slightly at Abdiel's apology, "It's okay Ab, I can understand your feelings, if someone spoke about my mate like that my blood would boil as well. Not that I'm defending him, but his parents were taken by Sanguis, which is what makes him so on edge about her, I know it wasn't her fault, and so does he but he can't help it." He was quiet a moment and then asked, "Do you want some company tomorrow? Or would you rather go it alone?"

Belail continued down the hall until he finally made it the bed chamber doors as he still continued to kiss her, "Yes my hardhearted lover I would love for you to show it to me and after the temple is destroyed I will take over their city!" He remarked as he opened the door with his dark magic. He moaned at the pain she was giving him as she dug her nails into his skin and he bit her lower lip before finally laying her on the bed. He laughed a bit as the image of distraught Ventus people in a panic appeared in his thoughts. "I will also enjoy their pain for imprisoning me..I can almost see it now tears streaming down their faces with their hands clasped to their cheeks while they shrill out in agony....it is almost arousing!" Belail spoke in a devilish tone as he raised Maeva's hands above her head and restraining them against the bed with his one hand. The room then grew dark as his powers emanated throughout the room while a wicked laugh filled the air.

Kabol had been looking for Maeva all over the place but couldn't seem to track her down as he was starting to get annoyed. "I see how she is....uses me to get what she wanted and once she does she drops me like a broken looking glass...grrrrrr! Now she has a new buddy and that is Belail but she doesn't even mention that I was the one who got her all those books and she tells me that she would mention me for her help to become queen! Then when I say something to her she tells me that she isn't going to do it...so now I am still a weak powerless demon rat while she is the almighty queen of Belail!" He finally got a hold of her scent and he was in aw as he came up to the castle that wasn't there before. He crossed it's stone bridge but was halted by the Large demon guards as he tried to enter. They pointed their massive weapons at him and growled. Kabol's eyes widened as he tried to explain to them, "But I am Maeva's servant you know Belail's mate!" The guards looked at each other but they didn't believe what he said and they proceeded to lurch forward at him. Kabol panicked as his eyes widened and the only thing he could think of doing was to interrupt Maeva's thoughts, "AAAAHHHH....MAEVA DO SOMETHING!!!! I am just trying to get into the castle where you are at but these brutes won't let me pass and they are going to attack me!" He had no idea what she was doing but at the moment he didn't care as he feared for his life.

"I know that his parents were taken by the Sanguis but she isn't a full blood she is also part Ventus and he should also take that into consideration...unless she meet Belail then he could have done something to her." A worried look came over his face as he thought about it and he noticed that the night would be over soon and that he needed to find a place to rest for the night. "Sure you can come with me tomorrow I don't mind and you can also follow me to the old abandon house that everyone thinks is haunted so that we can find a place to sleep." He stated as he started to walk in the direction of the decrepit building.

Maeva ran her tongue along his lips with a groan as his teeth dug into her lip. “Listening to you talk about it is arousing,” she replied as she kissed his face and neck. She smirked up at him as he restrained her, and it grew to a grin as the room darkened around them and they quite literally faded to black.
But right when it started getting real good Kabol screeched in her mind and her head snapped up as she snarled, not even hearing his explanation. She wrapped her own consciousness around his and squeezed, it would’ve been enough to drive some weaker Ventus mad and she could’ve done the same to him if she’d really wanted but it did cause him excruciating pain. Get out of my head, rat! His body lifted out from under him and he was flung past the guards and into the stone wall of castle. Then withdrew from him with a mental snarl.

Dara nodded, “I know Ab, and I agree.” He gave him a small smile and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, “We’ll find her tomorrow and get her side of it. I’ve always wanted to go into that house, just never got around to it,” Dara grinned, “it’ll be fun, and we need to get you to bed,” he pointed a finger up at Moon who, again, rolled her eyes and elicited a chuckle. Dara shook his head at Moon with a smile and walked along beside Abdiel looking at the foreboding mansion ahead.

Belail smirked at her remark, "Then let me just keep talking dirty to you then." he stated as his warm body was pressed against her. He was now in motion but was caught off guard when her head snapped up while she growled. It didn't bother him instead it only aroused him even more as he became more violent with her. Kabol let out a squeak when Maeva caused pain to his mental conscious and he held on to his head. He then knew that she wasn't going to be any help to him so he didn't try to explain to her. The demons where now hanging over Kabol as they went in to strike him down but lurched back when Kabol's body flung past them and barely missing their heads as he let out a scream before ramming into the wall. His body slid down a bit before dropping to the ground in front of the doors. He managed to stumble to his feet before sliding himself under the entree and then hiding in a nook he found in the castle. The guards looked around but were unable to locate him and they returned to their post.

Abdiel nodded at him although he was still worried about Amaya but decided to keep his thoughts to himself about her, "Well now is our chance to go see if it is...and we better get there soon because I am worn out." He laughed when he heard Dara tell Moon the same thing he said earlier, "Ha good luck getting her to do that....I already tried back in the hospital room!" He was quiet a moment as he continued walking, "She rolling her eyes at you isn't she because she did that to me too." He then started to talk to Moon, "You really have got to stop doing that.....if Amaya were here she would probably already knocked you eyeballs out for even attempting to roll them and besides you need your sleep if you don't get any then you are cranky......I don't like dealing with you when you are irritable." He shook his head as he assumed she probably just tuned him out. They traveled for a good while until they reached the gate of the old house and Abdiel's hand reached out grabbing the gate then swing it open as he approached the porch."Here goes nothing." He stated as he climbed the steps while the boards creaked beneath his footing and Abdiel wrapped his hands around the doors handle. He pushed the door open with caution peeking his head around the corner and noticing the furniture covered in white dusty sheets. It was dark and near impossible to see as he stepped in, "It looks ok....a bit dirty but I think we can stay here....and leave the door open when you come in Dara the only light that is in here is from the moons that is coming in from the entrance." He called out as he ran his hands over shelves looking for a candle to light the room and he was lucky enough to find a sconce with a half burned candle sitting in it. He pulled the cover off the couch and then sat moon on it as he remove her from his shoulders. He looked in his pack and dug out flint in which he hung over the candle wick as he flicked it to a flame."There now at least we have light and I have several blankets to wrap up in for the night!" He then started to walk over to shut the front door but the wind sucked it closed causing it to slam and it startled Abdiel out of his skin. "Oh shit!" he said as it was the only thing that sliped out of his mouth.

Maeva quickly forgot about Kabol as Belail got even rougher with her and she gasped at the extra pain and smirked then growled more and concentrated on him again

Moon clinched a tiny fist and cuffed Abdiel on the head saying, "I won't be irritable if you don't make me irritable." Dara burst out laughing, surprised that despite the horrors of the day he could still laugh.
He followed Abdiel cautiously, stopping before he went in to check around the parameter to make sure there were no signs of recent entry before going in. He decided they were safe for now and walked up the steps to the porch. He shuddered at the sound of the creaking and then laughed at himself for being scared. As he walked across the porch to the door he said, "This is gonna take a while to--" he was cut off as the door slammed in his face so suddenly that he fell backwards and landed hard on his butt. "Oh HAHA," he yelled sarcastically at the house itself, "very funny."
Moon, who had exceptionally good hearing, giggled at Abdiel, "You adults have such dirty mouths. I'm going to make May-may wash it out with soap." She wasn't the least bit scared of the "haunted" house.

Abdiel just shook his head and laughed, "Which won't be hard to do if you don't get any sleep....I know because you have done it before!" He stated before the door slammed. He walked back over and opened it up for Dara as he heard Moon,"Well Moon you can have a dirty mouth when you get older....and May may isn't going to use soap on my lips and tongue!" He said as he swung the door back open, "You ok?... That was totally unsuspected and it almost took me to my grave!" He then waved Dara into the house, "We can sleep on the furniture in the front room and I got some blankets to cover up with....also lucky for us there is a candle in here to burn."

Moon giggled and shook her head, "Nope, I'm too cute to have a dirty mouth."
Dara pushed himself to his feet and said dramatically as he stepped quickly inside, "Took you to your grave? It would've smashed my brains out it I'd been a step further. I know inanimate objects hate me and all but that's taking it to extremes." He sighed as he sat beside Moon and then nodded, "That'll be fine, and we can find the others tomorrow."

Belail moved away from Maeva after their escapade and laid on his side facing her and he could see that they didn't have much longer before dawn would show it's rays. He was almost in disappointment for ever letting the night end and thought he should of held on to the moon much longer with his powers. It was almost pointless to rest now as he figured he would have to return Maeva to her room back in the Ventus castle soon. "How irritating this is to have to return you when I just want to claim your body every second but it won't be long that we are seperated and it should be easy to find me now since you are able to feel my presence." He grinned as his eyes gave her the look of desire.

He laughed at Moon at first but it became harder when he heard Dara talk about objects hating him, "It is kinda weird that the door slammed like that and I do hope the other bandits are not worried about a haunted house....if they are I am just going to poke fun at them since it doesn't seem to bother Moon!" He walked back into the front room and pulled the sheets off the rest of the furniture then covered Moon up with one of the blankets before handing Dara one then laying down on a long sofa. He made himself comfortable and laid his head down on the arm of the chair to try and get a little sleep as he seen the sun starting to peek through.

Navi sat up in her bed as she stretched out her arms letting out a yawn before slowly climbing out of bed. She walked down to the kitchen in her night gown to pump water in a large kettle for her bath. It was still dark out but she was always awake before the sun rose because she was so busy having to take care of all her animals. She then struggled to pick up the hot heavy pot to the bathroom to fill the tub and she repeated the process until the tub was filled to her liking. She waited for a moment to let the water cool a bit before stripping down and getting in. She suddenly remembered she had guest and that she would have to fill the tub up again and she slumped in the tub. "Well this is going to be a long morning." She said as she started washing her body and before long she was out and she pulled the plug on the tub releasing the water into a pan below the bath that had a pipe that led the water outside and into the grass. She dried herself quickly and dressed herself before running down and filling the tub once more. Slightly tired she went back to the kitchen and began to cook all herself and her guests a meal.

Maeva sighed as she he spoke about having to go back to the Ventus, she hated there so much and now that she had him it was so much harder to stay there as she just wanted to be with him and his painful touch. She frowned and ran a hand from the base of his neck, down his chest and rested it on his perfect abs, "You think it's irritating, I'm the one who has to act like a scared little Lady all the time, I'm surprised I haven't exploded and destroyed the whole place by now." Her frown then turned to a smirk, "I can't wait to bring them to their knees," she shuddered in excitement, "it was all made worth it the moment I laid eyes on you, but it just keeps getting better and better."

Dara smirked as he stood up once more, ruffling the fur on Moon's head, "That's 'cause she's a smart kid and knows better than to believe in silly stories isn't that right."
Moon grinned up at him and replied, "I ain't 'fraid of no ghost." She laid down and closed her eyes, still knowing she wouldn't get sleep, but also that if she didn't at least try that they wouldn't leave her alone about it.
Dara took the blanket from Abdiel with a thanks and reclined in a chair, he was out nearly as soon as his head it the cushion.

Du'an woke with the sun and sat up with a groan as the events of the day before came back to him, and he knew the day ahead of him would be hard. He could smell food and his mouth started to water, he'd been living off dried meats and whatever he could find on the road for weeks now and a freshly cooked meal had been sorely missed. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, wincing at his sore muscles, sore both from hard riding and fighting the day before, but he was used to it and as he moved around the pain settled enough so that he could ignore it and he headed out of his room, poking his head into the kitchen.

"Well that just means you are good at deceiving others which is quite a skill for such a hot tempered she devil!"He then pressed his lips against hers as he felt her hand on his abs and his body shuttered in pleasure at her touch." How pleasing to find someone just as equally wicked as I...you have made my awakening worth while and I have waited a many of years to plan my revenge upon the Ventus for their betrayal to me!" His toned darkened when he spoke and there was fire in his eyes as hate began to fill them. A malicious grinned curled across his face and he curled his fingers under Maeva's rear digging his nails between her legs as he continued to speak, "It will be amusing to bathe in their blood while we indulge in our sins." He seen the sun rising and frowned which caused him to pull away from her body, "I suppose I should return you to the Ventus." He snarled and took her back to her room in Af's castle laying her on the bed, "I will be in town around noon look for then and I will be getting that Amaya girl to lead me past the gates!" He then vanished and left Maeva alone in the room.

Abdiel was out right along with Dara as he started to snore a bit not even noticing the changes in the house. The building shifted about creaking and popping as the foundation in the house settled. The air became stale along with a chill that filled the entire house and whispering came from the walls.

"Morning sleepy head....I just started cooking and I filled the tub up with hot water so that you can bathe...the food should be done after you are all cleaned up!" She smiled as she see Du'an's head pop around the corner."If your friend wakes up then I will have to do the same thing for him....but you wouldn't mind helping if he does?" She asked as she dreaded the thought of having to carry the large kettle a third time.

Maeva smiled as her touch made him shudder and her hand started to slowly move downward as she said, "As soon as I was old enough to understand what had happened to you I knew my destiny was to undo it and become your queen. Most of the Sanguis scoffed at me, but I knew it would happened and it's almost too bad to be true," she chuckled and then moaned as his claws dug into her inner thigh, the pain and his words making her burn for him again despite having just finished. Her hand was just above his groin when he pulled away and she groaned, then growled at the word Ventus. She pouted as he laid her beside Af and whispered, "I'll see you then," just before he vanished. She sighed and turned her head to look at the still sleeping Af, she rolled her eyes and then closed them and pretended to sleep, not the least bit tired despite her very long night.

Dara didn't even almost notice the sounds as he'd had a long day and was extremely tired. He subconsciously curled up under the blankets as it got colder but that was the only move he made as he otherwise slept silently.
Moon's ears flicked at the creaking sounds, but having lived in an abandoned, old, building all her life they didn't bother her. However when then walls started to actually whisper that was something she hadn't ever heard before and she opened her eyes and looked around. She saw no one other than Abdiel and Dara who were both out cold. She flipped the blanket off her and pushed herself to her feet and leapt onto the back of the couch, pressing her ear against the wall. She wasn't afraid of the noises, just curious.

Du'an smiled, "You didn't have to do that, but thank you very much." He bowed his head in thanks and said, "Uriel won't wake up till I wake him, so I will wait till after we eat because I don't know what's going to happen when I wake him and I want to have my energy, but of course I will help you. I'm going to see to my Svine, then I'll go bath. Thanks again," he smiled as he turned and walked out of the house shaking his head with a smirk, "I get up at dawn and am called a sleepy head, I don't think that's ever happened before." He liked this girl, she was different and fun to talk to, he sighed knowing he'd probably have to go back to the city today and leave her and her good company.

Belail wanted her as bad as she desired him and it was disappointing to leave her in the bed with Af. He returned to his castle but not his bed as he whispered in her thoughts, "You have done more then those idiots that worship me.....and it only took you to set me free! Do not rely or listen to those Sanguis they couldn't even preform the ritual right for my return......you have proved them wrong and now they must grovel at you feet!" His paws hit the floor as his steps echoed down the wide immaculate corridors making their way towards his dank dinning quarters. Several slaves and servants scrambled about as they prepped their master's meal and table knowing if it wasn't there by time he sat down there would be strict consequences. The plate of food was finally set at the last second as it made a chiming noise when it hit the table just as Belail thrust the doors open. He was grumpy from his lack of last nights rest making him more pron to attacking the help as he growled and snapped at anyone in his path. His menial's braced themselves against the wall clearing a path for their heartless master as he sat to feast. Belail was silent for most of his meal as he scarfed down every last bit of mangled organs on his plate before rising from his seat to leave. A rotten smile stitched across his face and revealing his teeth that were clinched closed like a zipper. He strutted his way down the long table while his tail began knocking down every dish and decoration on his way out, "Clean this mess up that you made....it is all your fault for having this in the path of my tail!" He snarled out to his servant as he ambled down the hall to leave and make his journey for the Sanguis village. It was a mild torture for his domestics as they would rather pick up his mess then have their flesh peeled from their backs. Belail made his way into the open air and his wings swiftly snapped down in the breeze which lift his body skyward. The distance was short as he traveled to the Sanguis and his wings were paced like a beating heart as he made his landing into the town.

Af opened his eyes and smiled as he seen Maeva still laying in his bed and he ran his hand down her cheek, "Good morning Maeva did you sleep well?" He asked as he set up in a stretch then swinging his feet off the bed before standing. He yawned a bit before talking to her once more, "Well I guess I should get ready since I have to make a speech to reassure our people that there is nothing to fear and that this situation well be handled!" He then redressed himself so that his manservant could come into the room and into the bathroom to fill the tub with hot water."You might want to get back into your night gown my servant will be in here soon and I am sure you don't want to be seen that way!" He smiled at her as he spoke.

The whispering in the wall was in a strange tongue and it wasn't understandable until it called out to her, "Moon....Moon....come find me...and we can play a game...find me in the deepest part of the house!" The whispering had a deep tone to it as a ball of white light flickered past the front room as it tried to coax her to follow it.

"Oh well I wouldn't want you to run around stinky....so of course I had to get a bath ready for you it is what hostesses do!" She giggled a little and nodded her head, "Alright you go see your svine....just be warned though the edg'va might surround you and check your fingers for food!"She didn't understand still to why he had to keep Uriel a sleep but was relieved that she didn't have to drag another kettle of hot water to the tub."Well when you do wake him up I don't want him to think I don't care about him so I also made him something to eat." She called out as she heard the front door close.

Moloch climbed out of bed quickly when he heard Belail land in the village and he was dressed in a blink of an eye before running down the steps. He shook Amaya awake, Wake up our master is here and every Sanguis must be present when he is here.....you never know if he has a task for us to do!" He said in a stern voice, "And also wake Night up as well!" He stated as he waited for her to rise.

Maeva smiled slightly as she felt him in her head, I never have listened to them, my king. They were always below me from the moment I was born and I don't listen to those that don't deserve listening to, they will regret every moment they doubted me. She closed her eyes and could see what he saw, wish she was there with him, wishing she could be mean to a hapless servant or two.
She opened her eyes once more as Af touched her and she had to keep herself from biting his hand off, "Wonderfully my king, my . . . " she hesitated a moment as if she wasn't sure she should say it then smiled shyly, "my love." She nodded and slipped out of the bed, then pressed her naked body to him and gave him a small kiss before stepping away and gathering her clothes and redressing.

Moon was surprised to hear the wall call her name and she turned her head just as the light floated by. Well that was all it took for her curiosity to take over and she dropped off the back of the couch to the seat, to the floor, checking Dara and Abdiel to making sure they were both sound asleep and then she took off after the light, her small feet making no noise as she padded across the floor.

Du'an chuckled, "Well then I'll just have to let them figure out I don't have anything for them. Don't cook him any meat though, he won't eat it." He slipped out the door and to the barn smiling as he heard his svine's happy to see him noise when he opened the door and he quickly closed it and braced himself for the edg'va.

Amaya was startled awake when Moloch shook her and she nearly punched him in the face, but was able to stop herself. She sat up and looked to where Night had been, but he wasn't there. She looked around a moment before she saw him laying on the back of the couch facing the window. She stood up and went over to him but before she touched him he said, "I'm awake." He rolled so that he fell off the back of the couch and landed lightly on the seat on his feet. "Where's Moon?" He didn't seem afraid or worried, about where he was, just about his sister.
"She's fine, you'll see her soon. Come on now, we have to go."
Night looked at her, then at Moloch and shrugged before jumping off the couch and to her lower-half cat-body.

Ina had never been what one would consider a adamant Sanguis. She'd hated drinking blood and making the sacrifices, had done so only to keep others from noticing her.
When Belail had been released the night before she knew she could no longer pretend and survive. She'd gone along with the celebrations until Belail had left to fight Uriel and then escaped to her house and packed what she could to leave. This morning as dawn broke she sighed as she stepped out the door then noticed Belail in the sky and swore, one of the few Sanguis things she was good at and she stepped back inside, knowing she wouldn't be able to escape while he was here, she should've left in the night. She threw her bags back in the house and joined the Sanguis in the streets, staying in the middle of the crowd and hoping to not be noticed.

Af smiled at her and was a bit surprised that she had pressed her naked self against him as she was always so formal. He kissed her back and then responded, "I am glad that you rested well my love!" He grinned as he liked her calling him that. The servant then knocked at the door, "May I come in my lord...are you decent?" He asked as he waited by the door. Af then waited for her to be dressed completely before calling out to let the servant enter, "Yes...you may come in!"and with that the manservant entered and was taken back that Maeva was in the room but said nothing as he passed her to fill the tub. Af started to follow the servant to the bathroom and turned his head at Maeva, "I will see you in a bit if you would like to head down to the dinning hall for breakfast and I don't think it is wise to wonder outside of the castle walls today so you should stay near for your safety!" He stated as he walked towards the tub to bathe.

Navi did what he said and didn't cook Uriel any meat as she started to finish up with cooking. The edg'va were right at Du'an just like she had said and they lept up at him. Their tongues licked his fingers as their heads nudged him and one even stuck his head in Du'an's pocket as their strange noises of complaints came out of their mouths. He even got butted in the rear for not having something to feed them.

The strange ball of light then took a pleasant form of a ghostly looking fox as it deceived Moon to follow deep down into the basement. The house was not haunted by a ghost but by a dark power that was stripped from Belail and that was hidden in a small seal made by Lucis. It was her attempt to hid his powers away to keep him weak and it would need a innocent to open them. The house was built over it much later which uncovered the power's imprisonment causing all sorts of problems for those who lived in it. The whole house had become this strange powers cell and without it's master it took on a life off it's own. The pleasant looking fox then went through the basement door as it called out to her, "Come find me...and set me free....I know where your brother is and I can take you to him!"

Moloch looked at them both and then opened the door, "No time to eat we must gather!" He said as he ran out of his house into the large group of Sanguis into the morning sun.Belail's eyes searched for Amaya as he wanted her to prove herself to him, "Amaya....where are you!" He roared out in impatience but suddenly felt an uneasy presence from one of the Sanguis and he sought them out. He was sensing Ina and his focus locked on to her as he stepped forward causing the others to regress from his path. "Does something bother you Ina...your essence is off unlike everyone else. Do you detests my presence?" He questioned with his teeth now nearing her face and he waited for her to reassure him.
Moloch looked at Amaya and stated, "He is calling for you! You better hurry he has little tolerance for waiting." as he tried to hurry her towards Belail.

Maeva smiled gently as she could tell he was surprised by her actions. She smirked at the servant and then said to Af as she headed towards the door, "I will be there shortly my king, and that is probably a wise precaution." She left his room and closed the door behind her, letting out a soft groan as she headed to her room. A maid saw her and gave a knowing smile and she was forced to giggle and hurry away. She entered her room and sighed as she started to search for something to wear.

Du'an laughed at the edg'va and nearly fell over when one butted him. He spun around and wagged a finger at the offender, "Now now, I'm not Navi, why would you think I would feed you? Be nice or I'll feed you to my svine." He laughed and scratched the fur on the edg'va head and waited patiently for them to move away and he went to his now impatient svine. He spoke to her for a few minutes before he took a bit of dried meat out of his bag and hiding it in his pocket so he didn't feed her in front of the edg'va. He lead her outside, keeping his body between the door and the edg'va so they wouldn't get out and then fed her the meat after closing the door. He checked her over then patted her neck and set her loose in the fields not worried about her running off then returned to the house. He went straight to the bathroom and undressed, sighing as he slipped in, it'd been so long since he'd had a warm bath. He just laid there for a moment then cleaned himself, and drained the water. Putting some clean clothes on he'd brought from his saddle bags he folded his dirty ones and but them by the door to take out with him next time he left the house. Feeling fully refreshed for the first time since he left his home a few weeks ago, he sighed and stretched and walked into the kitchen.

Moon wasn't at all deceived by the light as it turned into a fox and she hesitated at the basement door. She wasn't exactly scared to go down, she loved dark places underground, but she wasn't exactly stupid either and she knew something was wrong. She started to turn back as it told her to set it free, but then it spoke about her brother and she stopped again and then went back to the door. She looked over her shoulder to where she could still hear Abdiel's soft snoring then opened the door and went down the stairs. Forming her own small ball of light so she could see until she caught up with the fake ghost.

Amaya didn't even hesitate as she followed Moloch out of the house and into the streets. Extremely surprised to hear Belail's voice calling her name she hurried forward. Not wanted to be punished by him.
Ina's ears flattened against her head as Belail approached her and had to fumble for an answer. "I just . . . I-I," she couldn't tell him the truth but she knew if she lied he'd be able to tell so she finally spat out. "I just can't help but fear you my king. You're so powerful, and evil, and I know what you're capable of." Her eyes flickered off his face as she noticed a cat girl stepping from the crowd while placing a fox boy on the ground and hoped she'd distract him and draw him away from her.
Amaya placed Night on the ground as she stepped toward Belail. She walked over to him till she was about ten feet away, glancing at the hyena girl he was questioning before saying in a voice she forced to not shake, "You called, my lord?"

Belail's eyes narrowed at Ina when he didn't get a direct answer from her and he let out a growl. His mouth gaped open then closed in a swift movement his teeth made a snapping noise. He put his sharp claw up to her chin as he didn't like the feeling he was getting from her, "I know that you fear me all of you Sanguis do! I asked you if loathe your king...." His pupils in his eyes came to a slit as his head lifted away from Ina when his ears caught Amaya's voice. He glared at Ina and put his paw back down in the dirt, "I will deal with you later." He snarled as his intuition told him not to trust her but he let her go for now and turned to face Amaya."Yes indeed I did summon you....since you lived with the Ventus so long you will be accompanying me to their city! I want you to prove your worth and I am sure you won't fail me because you have something to loose." His eyes then looked down at Night giving her a hint to what he was mentioning. Always making threats because his lack of trust among his craft for he seen no other way to get them to comply. "Besides I do think you wanted to get his sister away! He groaned at the whiff off scent he was picking up of off Moon's skin and this made him salivate. He pulled himself from his hunger and finally spoke more, "I can smell her right now as we speak! She seems to be close to something I have lost so many years ago. Well then if you don't have any objections to what I ask then I won't have any desires to devour the young boy at your feet." He threatened her again giving her no real choice to disagree with what he asked.

The pale transparent fox began to lead her down in to the center of the room as it pointed down at a strange looking door. "I am trapped and I can not return to where I belong. I would be grateful to you if you lifted this door for me. I would do it myself but I am unable to grasp anything. Once you do that I can take you to your brother...I promise!" It grinned at her hoping she would do as it asked.

Navi was already sat at the table when Du'an came into the kitchen and she had already started to eat, "Breakfast is ready.....you look like you enjoyed your bath...I hope the edg'va didn't give you such a hard time they think that anyone who comes into the barn should feed them and oh I didn't cook your friend any meat just like you asked!" She smiled as she bit into her toast before speaking, "You also missed this strange creature while you were bathing or were you in the barn when I seen him....I don't remember, he was huge and blue...he kinda looked like a lion but with horns and wings he flew right over head....I watched him from my kitchen window." She had stated describing Belail that had been flying over head earlier as he was making his way to the Sanguis.

Ina's jaw worked in fear as she tried to force herself to answer him, and nearly collapsed in relief when he turned his attentions away from her. She stepped back a little bit hoping to get lost in the crowd again, knowing if she just took off to her house he would surely kill her before she took two steps.
Amaya listened to him, keeping her face carefully blank even as he threatened Night, but her eyes narrowed slightly in confusion as he spoke about Moon, wondering what he was talking about but she didn't say anything about it hoping whatever Moon had gotten herself in to wasn't too bad. When he finished speaking she said with a shrugged, "I will take you, but, just as a forewarning, I'm a wanted citizen and if some one recognizes me you'll fall under suspicion for being with me." She wasn't trying to get away from the task, but she knew if she didn't tell him and some one noticed her and he was compromised she'd be in grave danger for it.

Moon followed the ghostly-looking fox, often looking over her shoulder, a constant nagging telling her to turn back, but promises of seeing Night again kept her going forward. She looked at it as it talked to her then looked at the door. She hesitated a moment before taking hold of the door and heaving.

"You have no idea," Du'an said with a smile as he sat at the table, "I can barely remember the last time I bathed in something other than a creek or waterfall." He chuckled and stabbed some food with his fork and said, "They were fine, one of them attempted to scold me for not bringing them food though, but they let me be after a few moments . . . That's good," he nodded, "wouldn't want you wasting your meat." He took a bite of his food and listened to her talk about the strange creature, groaning when he realized exactly what she was talking about and hoped the demon had been too busy to notice the farm. "That would be Belail. Which means there's something on the other side of your farm. I hope he doesn't noticed this place."

A sorrowful voice that was locked within the seal broke out when Moon opened the door to the imprisoned power, "Oh child what have you done!" The voice was the embodiment of Lucis's power which faded rapidly as the dim basement grew even darker. The silhouette of the ghostly fox turned into the foreboding image of death and deceit. A fleshless demon made it's presence known and it's boney hands reached out to Moon as a disembodied voice shrilled with hate, "I do thank you for my release!" It laughed and snatched her off the filthy basement floor, "And now my end of the bargain will be fulfilled!" Then the doors in the decrepit house burst open with forceful energy as it breathlessly glided up and over the rickety steps making it's way out of the house with Moon in it's clutches. It's shrieks filled the air that would bring any Ventus to their knees in terror as it weaved and winded it's way through the city causing many of the people to gasp for air before dropping to their death. The boney beast then took to the sky after causing such horror and havoc then swiftly made it's return to it's master.

Belail's attention was once more averted as he could see his stolen power returning to him and he snatched Moon in his grasp before jolting back as he received his dark ability. His rolled eyes then shoot forward as he lowered his arm with Moon in his clutches. A devilish grinned seamed across his face in pleasure and his hand stroked Moon's head, "I am really starting to grow fond of these fox children." He paused a moment before responding to Amaya, "Then if you get caught and ruin my plans it won't be the guards you have to worry about because I will strip you of you pelt and lick the blood off you wounds so I guess you better find a transformation spell to prevent that from happening." He then dropped Moon to her feet and pointed at her, "I guess that is one less thing we have to do....now you don't have to go looking for her. I also have a good use for Moon...she can help me find and release all of my stolen powers." He knew he would need a innocent Ventus child to break the seals for any of his other missing abilities. "Now you have an hour to figure out how to change your image so that you won't be recognizable because if we get caught it is your soul I will torture." His eyes then blackened as his teeth were still clinched into a grin.

Abdiel sat up out of his sleep and jumped to his feet when he saw the boney beast carry off with Moon. He screamed out for her and began chasing after her, "Dara get up now....that thing has Moon!" He had barely gotten any sleep but his adrenaline was pumping and that was the only thing he needed to keep him going.

Navi smiled at him and gave out a little giggle, "I bet it wasn't as warm as the tub you just bathed in and I am not sure how clean you can get in a pond or a creek.....because the things I see the creatures do in that water would never make you want to step foot in another creek or pond." Navi laughed a little more about the edg'va giving him a shove."I figured they might give you some trouble....I will feed them shortly after I am done eating and what about your friend are you going to attempt to wake him?"She then looked down at her plate and took several bits as she listened to him state that the large flying demon she had seen was Belail."Oh is that who I saw he didn't look mean....in fact he looked big and fuzzy like a teddy bear...I almost wanted to pet him." She smiled as she said that still being a little naive about the subject.

Moon attempted to drop the door as soon as she heard the sad voice but it was too late. She spun and dashed towards the stairs but was snatched up before she got very far. She screamed in terror as it carried her out of the house, giving Abdiel and Dara a terrified look and reaching out for them, but was pulled away too fast for them to help. She moaned and covered her large sensitive ears as it shriek, squinting her eyes shut tightly and shaking. She whimpered when Belail grabbed her and attempted to make herself smaller, flattening her ears against her head and curling her tail up, not that it did any good. As soon as he dropped her she dashed away from him and to Amaya, who scooped her up and held her close.
Amaya bowed to him saying, "Yes, my king, understood." She knew better than to argue with him, even though she wanted to about his job for Moon. She turned away and headed into the crowd looking for Moloch as he was the only Sanguis she knew and she knew he'd help her. To tell the truth, changing her fur color would probably be enough to keep anyone looking to put her in jail off her trail, but the thieves she'd lived with could always tell who she was and being recognized by one of them could spell disaster for herself and them, and possible Moon and Night as well. So she placed Moon on her back and scooped up Night as she entered the crowd, placing him just behind her and then turned her attention to look for Moloch.
Moon wrapped her arms around Night as Amaya set them together and he held her tightly, worried about what was in store for his little sister.

Dara was awakened by Moon's scream and was already jumping out of the chair when Abdiel yelled at him. He reached out for Moon but didn't even get close as the demon already had her out the door before his feet even touched the floor. He swore vehemently, something he never did, and chased them out the door. He got to the edge of the porch when the thing's shrieks filled his ears and he cried out in pain clutching his ears and he tripped and fell down the porch steps.

Du'an smiled at Navi's comment and swallowed a bite of food before saying, "Well, that is sterile, and probably actually helps in the cleaning, but if I don't do something to wash the dirt and sweat of the road off then my svine won't let me near her." He took another bite then said, "You might want to hurry then, before they eat the barn itself," he chuckled. His smile faded a bit and he sighed, "Yea, I'm going to go to him after I finish eating, the awakening part will be easy. It's what will happen after that I'm worried about, I haven't exactly done this before." He took a drink of water as she replied about Belail then nearly spit it in her face at her comment. He managed to choke it down before bursting out laughing, picturing a Navi fluffy Belail plush toy. It took him a moment to get over the fit but he finally calmed down and said, still chuckling a little, "Oh man, that was funny. I haven't laughed like that in a long time." He grinned at her.

Belail stretched his hand open as he extended out his fingers feeling his power he had lost so many years ago, “It has been so long since I have felt this!” He paused and looked over at Amaya and waved her away from him as he was too preoccupied with his ability he had just received. He was aching to use it on someone and a wicked smile was once more smeared across his face, “Now who should I use it on? Too bad Maeva is going to miss out on the fun…I am sure she would have enjoyed this.” His heartless voice bellowed out as he strutted casually about the crowd of Sanguis trying to find himself a victim for his torture. He then halted in his tracks as he eyed one of the dark occult members who seemed to be a strong healthy male and a good candidate to unleash his wrath. The other Sanguis then stepped back from Belail’s chosen victim as they knew what was to come next and they didn’t want to be caught in the middle of it. The occult member suddenly knew he was chosen for death and didn’t flinch in fear as he accepted his fate because either way he would succumb to his master’s hand. The heart wrenching screams then escaped from Belail’s lips and they filled the air causing the Sanguis to cover their ears as a dark mist expelled from the back of Belail’s throat. The fleshless demon phantom then appeared from the mist and thrust itself into his victim as he had no time to react before his body became black as soot in a frozen position. Belail’s power then reverted after destroying the unfortunate soul and with the slightest touch of his finger the burned corpse fell into a pile of ash. “Oh…..Ina I hope you were watching that because if my feelings are right about you then you are the next fool I burn!” He roared out to her as to let her know the demonstration was for her.

Moloch could see that Amaya was searching for him and he began to shove himself out of the crowd as they watched Belail display his powers. He didn't dare yell out to her in fear he might irate his master for interrupting. Moloch was now in arms length of her and his hand reached out and grabbed her by the shoulder, "Follow me we have very little time for you to learn such a spell and Belail can be impatient so let us make use of every second we have." He said to her as he turned to walk back to his home, "I can't believe you have only been here one day and he has chosen you....it is an honor to have such a task befall you but also a dangerous one because he doesn't except failure...so don't fail!" He then finally reached the door and swung it open as he stepped in then waited for her to join him at the table covered in spell books.

Abdiel had only been a few steps in front of Dara when he heard the shrills and he to collapsed to the ground in agony. He hollered out in pain as he cupped his ears shut and he tried to get back to his feet as he continued to chase after Moon who was no longer in sight until he turned and seen Dara laying at the base of the porch steps. Abdiel ran back to check on his friend as he leaned down he asked, "Are you all right?" He was still pumped up from the anger of just loosing Moon but he had a good idea to where she might be. He was so worried about Dara and Moon that he hadn't even noticed that there was blood dripping out of his ears from the death scream they had heard only seconds ago.

Af's head was submerged under his bath water until his ears heard the horrifying vociferate and he surfaced as he could feel the blood drain from his face. He then lept out of the tub as he covered himself while he moved towards the window and he barely caught a glimpses of Belail's power that was taking off with a small child. He couldn't believe what he had seen and he dried himself off quickly then began dressing as he didn't wait for his manservant to do it for him. Af called out to Caflice as he hurried down the white glossy steps, "Calfice I want you to send some men down to the city below and check on everyone I think I just saw a demon!" The Sargent who had heard the screams as well was standing in the foyer when he seen Af and he wasted no time doing what was asked of him, "Yes of course my king I am right on it!" Af then ran to the dinning hall to check on Meava to see if she was alright and it wasn't long before he found her, "Did you hear that awful demon scream? Are you fairing well my love?" He asked with grave concern as he neared Maeva.

Navi hadn't heard the first spine chilling caterwaul as it was to far away and all she could hear was Du'an laughing at her, "What is so funny?....Why are you laughing so hard you better not be chuckling at me....stop doing that don't you know that it is contagious?!" She asked as she started to join in on him even though she wasn't sure as to what they were laughing at. She was finding it hard to finish her meal because she couldn't keep her food in her mouth so she gave up for the moment. Navi then stopped laughing and her face turned pail as she caught the second round of the ghastly shrill. She then suddenly pushed her hands over her ears trying to block out the death scream that seemed a lot closer to her home. When it stopped she was almost faint but was able to prevent herself from passing out as she asked Du'an, "What was that? I need to go check on my animals to see if they are alright!" She then got to her feet but the room began to spin and her movement became wobbly as she tried to make it towards the front door.

Ina had snuck to the other side of the crowd while Belail was distracted with his power and was slowly moving away when the screams of Belail’s power hit her ears and she cringed. Clasping her hands to her ears she spun and took off running through the streets, mumbling a spell under her breath that few others knew about and even less could use, she only could because of her born powers and she hoped it would be enough to escape Belail’s wrath, for now at least. It was one of the few spells she could use, she’d never been very good with the dark magic of the Sanguis, probably because of her dislike of the sacrifices and such used in their practices. She grimaced as it was a long spell and she didn’t know if she could keep out of Belail’s grasp long enough to get the ancient words out.

Amaya rolled her eyes, as she followed Moloch, “If he’s so impatient he should’ve gotten someone who didn’t need the spell, or already knew it. I’m by no means the best person for this job.” She didn’t consider it an honor, she wanted to sit down and talk to Moon and Night and explain things, but now didn’t know when or even if she’d get that chance, but nevertheless she wouldn’t argue, more for the children’s sake than her own. She followed him into the house, and set the two of the on the couch, telling them she’d be able to explain things soon, hoping she was telling the truth. She gave Moon a comforting kiss on the forehead then followed Moloch to the table, stretching her long cat body out across the seats of two chairs to get comfortable for the study session.

As soon as the blinding pain left, Dara rolled to his feet, other than a few bruises, he was fine, he’d had worse falls than that. He didn’t hear Abdiel’s question through the ringing in his ears, but he could see the concern on his friend’s face and said, “I’m fine, don’t worry about me.” He scanned the skies and swore again when they were no longer in sight. He looked at Abdiel and was about to say something about her when he noticed the blood dripping down the side of his neck and yelled over the ringing in his ears, “You’re bleeding!” He looked at his own hand and noticed blood there as well from where he’d been holding his own ears, another muttered swear.

Maeva had gone back to her room and changed out of her night gown and into a black dress, a large contrast against her white skin. Then had decided to go ahead and go down to the dinning hall to wait for Af, as much as she’d rather not. She’d heard the horrible screams, but being filled with Belail’s powers it didn’t even almost hurt her, yet filled her with excitement and longing to be with Belail again. Her bond with him had told her it was a part of him and she desperately wanted to be there when he received it and cursed that she could not. Nevertheless a grin was spread across her face as she watched it from a small window, carrying a small child, probably a snack she figured, bite-sized. She frowned as Af’s worried voice reached her ears and had to take a moment to make herself look worried before she turned to face him. She looked at him, then back out the window and then scurried over to him as if very scared. She slowed to a stop and little more than arms length to him and looked at him with fear in her eyes, “Oh my king, it was horrifying, but yes, I am fine.” She took a step toward him and placed a hand on his arm, “And you?”

Du’an shook his head, still laughing, “I’m not laughing at you . . . I’m laughing at what yo--AGH!!” The screams pierced his ears and he cried out more in surprise than anything else as his hands slammed over his ears, doing little to drown out the horrible sound. He shook his head when it left at her question, “I don’t know, but I’ll bet anything it has to do with Belail. Wait,” he stood up to go after her, his vision swam as he moved, but thanks to childhood games he was able to push the dizziness away and caught her shoulders as she swayed, worried she’d fall. He stopped her there then went out the door first to make sure whatever had made the noise was gone. He shook his head as he spotted it in the distance, heading away. He stepped outside, moving out of her way and continued to watch whatever it was slowly grow smaller.

The dark occult members were surprised to watch Ina run after Belail had only given her a warning. Belail cocked his head and could hear her chanting a familiar spell as she tried to make her escape. His suspicions were raised even more by her sudden urge to flee his presence and not to mention the incantation she was chanting. He snarled in rage at Ina and with in a split second he vanished then reappeared in her path as he clasped her by her throat and threw her to the ground. His body radiated hostile energy as his heartless eyes glared into hers while he began to strangulate her, "Still you tongue and speak no more of your sorcery or I will tear it from the back of your throat that hex will do you no good towards the likes of me! Now listen to me and listen well foolish girl you are a Sanguis and if you think for one second those Ventus will ever welcome you into their arms then you are cad! They will destroy you just for even being in my presence and if you don't follow your ancestor's ways then you force me to tear you limb from limb, so I give you one more chance to embrace your dark ways. It is your choice stay and continue your worship to me or perish right her for your insubordination!" His weight under his arm that clasped her throat let up just a bit for her to respond to him but not enough to let her escape.

Moloch became irate with Amaya as he heard her question Belail's decision and he slammed his fist down on the table as his hair and eyes turned a crimson color, "Don't you ever question his authority! He has chosen you for a reason because you know the city of Ac'quida very well and he is also testing you to see if he can put his trust into you, Amaya! If he heard what you said he wouldn't hesitate to punish you for it!" He then calmed back down as his hair and eyes turned back to their original color, "Now here is the spell for transformation since you were catching on so well last night this might be an easy spell for you...all you need to think of is what different form you wish to turn into and keep that thought in mind when you preform the incantation!"

I am alright Maeva my head was submerged under the bath water when I heard the scream but I caught a glimpse of the wretched thing before it left out of sight." He held her close to him as Maeva ran to him, "I am glad that you didn't get hurt but I am afraid that some of the villagers below did...I won't know until Caflice returns but until then let us sit and eat our morning meal!" He then walked over to the end of the dinning table and took a seat.

Abdiel then touched his ears as he heard Dara state he was bleeding and he could feel it running down his neck, "So are you but I will be fine...what is important is that we go after Moon...Amaya will be pissed if she found out I lost her!" He then began to make his way in the direction of where he last seen her being carried off to.

Navi thanked him for holding on to her as she caught her balance and she did what he asked as he checked to see if the cost was clear."Well if he did that I take that back I don't want to pet him!" She said as she tried to lighten the mood a bit. Navi then walked towards the door and followed Du'an to see what he was looking at and she popped her head then watched with him, "What is that thing it looks scarey!" She then remembered that she wanted to check on her animals and she pushed past Du'an and ran into the barn. It wasn't long before she came back out screaming and crying at what she had just seen. The shrill of dark magic had done something to her edg'va as they acted as if they were possessed and she had seen them tearing at the flesh of their own breed. Her hand clasped over her mouth as she told him, "The herd of edg'va are eating another one of the edg'va they don't eat meat they eat vegatation....they won't even talk to me!" Her eyes quivered with fear and she was confused at the whole situation, "Do something Du'an make them stop!" She pleaded as she remembered him saying he could control them.
